Punctual and reliable. 6/6/2017

Service technicians arrived when scheduled. They were courteous. They gave an accurate estimate of the cost before beginning the work. They didn't make a mess (they wore shoe coverings when entering the house) and they fixed the electrical problem. I am satisfied. I will call them again when I need electrical work done. more

Overpriced 5/30/2017

Very overpriced!! Small job that took a different electrician about an hour to do cost us less than $200. They were going to charge over $800!! Also for a five minute quote $50 was outrageous! What a complete scam- stay away!! more

Air Conditioner 5/28/2017

I was not home at the time, but the service man spoke to my son. He gave two prices and a suggestion. Unit is 20 years old. Freon needed to be charged $350. Add oil $550, he said was obsolete but when my son took the cheaper option he said he now had the oil. He said you should replace unit, Dah ... it still works. Little confused on what happened since I was not home more

A time when charging by the job was actually a big disadvantage. 5/23/2017

They offer upfront pricing. Their website says they charge by the job, not by the hour. I thought that would actually save me money. Electrician arrived on time and we were told it would cost $199 plus tax for our 5 minute job because there is "no service code option available that is less expensive than $199" which means that is the absolute least expensive option they have. He asked my husband how comfortable he was with electric because the job was so simple a layman could do it (but they would charge us $199 plus tax for it???). We were very disappointed because we really wanted it done and had expected it would be about $75. We are loyal customers and when we find a company we like, we stick with them. Too bad. more

I do total recommend Jameson for anything that they do. It could be electrical, plumbing or heating & air conditioning . 5/13/2017

Everyone from the office staff, that we made the appointments with, to the young men that did the work were very polite, professional and efficient. I know have had electrical work plus a new furnace and air conditioner put in by Jameson and could not be more pleased with this company. They seem to employ very capable and knowledge people. Usually ask a company to send there A team to do any work around my house. Jameson has only A team members working for them. more

Tuthfulness of pricing 5/9/2017

When the service man arrived he met me with his ipad and informed me of an additional 199.00 to look at my problem. With that info I would have said no thank you initially and gone on to the next company. Truth would have saved us all a lot of time. RESPONSE FROM Jameson & Wire Electric Heating & Air: Thank you for the review, we appreciate any and all feedback. You are correct our service call fee is $49 to get the tech to the home/business. This should have been reiteriated by our CSR. If the job is something simple like a off breaker/switch the $49 is all we would charge. As stated by the tech the $199 will be taken off if any repair is chosen. Sorry if this wasnt clear enough, I will relisten to your call to make sure the call was handled properly. Furnace repair 5/7/2017

Very fast service, i called at 7:30, had a return call by 8:10 and Service man arrived by 9:15am. fixed by 11am with a trip to get a part. more

I always choose Jameson & Wire Electric Heating and Air whenever I have the need for their work. I have been a long time customer and always have been completely satisfied with the service I have received, whether it was the installation of a new circuit breaker box or installing a smoke detector. I would highly recommend them. more

Positive experience all around. 4/30/2017

We had an unexpected urgent need for an electrician after an electrical fire that resulted in a visit from the local fire department. We placed an after hours call to another company that someone recommended but, by the next morning, we still had not received a call back. I called Jameson and spoke to a very pleasant person. She was able to give me an estimate of when someone would be here and it was a reasonable amount of time. In less than one hour, Jessy G was at our home and trying to find the source of the problem. He was very thorough and efficient. He went through the entire house making sure that there were no other potential problems after he had identified the original problem. We were very happy with the response time as well as Jessy's professionalism and knowledge. We have already told several people about our positive experience and will continue to recommend Jameson. Thank you! more

I'm very glad that I called Jameson for service on my Generac Generator 4/19/2017

Jesse was very professional and really I think the very first time that my Generac Generator was cleaned and even waxed. He pointed out what my generator issues may be causing the test to not run properly. He answered my questions regarding maintaining my AC which I will call for it to be checked out as well as my furnace in the fall. more

No experience 4/10/2017

I called these people because they were the experts in commercial Generac generators. Had to pay in advance by credit card before they would come out to look at the problem. When the technician arrived, he informed me that he had never worked on the model I had and only knew residential generators. The only thing he managed to do was to switch the generator on in a permanent position so when my power came back on the generator would not turn off. Fortunately someone with some experience came over and saw this mistake and got me back on the grid before the generator was ruined. The technician was a nice kid though. Just didn't have a clue as to what he was doing. more

Reliability and Expertise personified! 4/9/2017

Every time we have had service from Jameson, it has been great; the tech arrives on time, completes the work, andleaves no mess for me to clean up. We have contracted with them for our annual fall maintenance of our Generac stand-by generator, and I have complete trust that the techs will come in September as they promised. It's nice to find a place that knows what to do, and do it well. Keep up the good work! more
