Gene Johnson Plumbing & Heating did both indoor plumbing work and outdoor sewer line work for me. This was my first time using them, everything turned out great and worked very well. They figured out a longstanding problem we had that no one else had been able to fix. All of their people gave me confidence in their knowledge and high level of expertise. more

The plumber who came out from Gene Johnson Plumbing & Heating determined that the water heaters were leaking and had to be replaced. They replaced two water heaters and worked everything in okay. I just thought they were very expensive and I would not repeat business with them. more

Dennis came over on 2/28th and reviewed my backyd drainage problem. There is a lot of water there due to a water surface pipe breaking, etc. He also took his time to go to a neighbors' yd, to review the water that was leaking into her yd. He measured both yds, showed me pictures of what he planned to do and gave me options for the possible solution. He will give me an e-mail price/prices on his solutions. He is very knowledgeable and a great plumber who knows what he is doing. more

We've had them twice now. We started with them because they were recommended by the people who installed our gas furnace. After ten years of having it we thought we should have it checked, so they came and checked it, and were very reassuring. We were pleased with that, so we called them back when one of our toilets was failing. It ended up having to be replaced. They did that very efficiently and we are pleased with the product they installed. more

I have a hot water tank that heats my house and heats the water for my sinks and shower. MY house continued to be heated, but there was not hot water to mysink or shower. Kyle and Dennis came out and, instead of automatically recommenending a new water heater (like another plumber), they problem solved and ened up replacing a valve that was not mixing the water corectly. Oh, does it ever feel good to have hot showers in the morning again!!! thanks again, Kyle and Dennis, for such a quick response, courteous service and a good sense of humor! more

Woody and Manu came to our Queen Anne home and repaired our broken water main. These guys are pros! After a little dispute with the city, Dennis came out and settled the issue to our great satisfaction. We'd call Gene Johnson again! more

We had a leak in the pipe below the toilet that had to be repaired immediately. Gene Johnson Plumbing & Heating arrived at my house within three hours of being called and fixed the problem. They cleaned when they were done, which I appreciated. more

We've used Gene Johnson Plumbing for some years. Just recently, they helped us with a bad problem. Woody has been to our house before and he is certainly dependable and friendly. He even got to repair the leak from the dishwasher. more

After a couple of years of being totally unhappy with Gene Johnson Plumbing I called them today about a problem I've been having with a faucet they had installed a couple of years ago which was not working properly.. Woody was sent out to see what the problem was and I was very impressed with the fact that he fixed the problem to my complete satisfaction and besides seems like a nice fellow. I was referred to Gene Johnson by my Mom, who's used the company for a number of jobs and has always been happy with the quality of work. I had a leaking pipe causing my basement to flood, and the Gene Johnson plumber was able to quickly identify the source of the problem even though the leak was in the drainage pipe below ground. The work involved cutting through drywall, breaking through concrete outside and digging down to the drainage area -- all of which the GJ rep was able to accomplish in just one day. He kept me fully informed of pricing and options, and at no point did I feel unaware of the scope of work being completed. The job was completed quickly and professionally, mess and disruption were minimal and communication was great. Recommended. more

I called Gene Johnson Plumbing and was able to set an appointment right away and Adam was right on time. He assessed the problem and quickly got me a quote. I gave him the OK and he got the water heater, returned and installed it same day. He even fixed another problem with a faucet for no further charges. Timing and service were excellent. more

A referral from a colleague pointed me to Gene Johnson Plumbing and we?ve used them for all our plumbing needs ? both routine and emergency services ? for the past several years. The office staff has always dispatched our calls in a professional manner and is knowledgeable about availability and schedules of the plumbing team so that we get the services we need at the appropriate time. We?ve always had excellent service from the plumbing team. The most recent call was to replace a water heater that had failed during the night resulting in a sea of standing water in our newly renovated den/office in the basement of our home. The plumber arrived within 20 minutes. After he shut down the unit he pulled a wet vac off the truck and cleaned up water and debris until ServPro arrived after a half hour later. He then went back to work on selecting and installing a new unit. He was great! Overall, they?ve arrived on time, been professional in their dress and demeanor, described the nature and scope of the problem, and solved the problem each and every time. We?ve been very pleased with their services and would recommend them with high marks. We know we can count on them for excellent service at a fair price every time! Kudos to everyone on their team. more
