Our sales consultant Greg along with installers David M and Eugene did an excellent job for us! Greg took the time to measure our house and evaluate the efficiency of our old system before making a recommendation. He also took timed to explain what he was doing and ask us for input on options that would work for us. Not the typical BS story and pressured sell for a oversized and over priced system. Greg explained our options and suggested mid-line units with an additional return in the basement would vastly improve our air flow and efficiency. David and Eugene were great to work with on installation day. Very clean and made every effort to protect the floors and walls while moving the heavy equipment. Both David and Eugene communicated with us as they worked to make sure we are getting the best possible results. They were both very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Terry was very helpful in solving my sewer backup. He tried three times from my outside server access, once in my laundry room access and finally through my toilet access. Problem solved in a neat and clean fashion plus Terry directed me to an on line coupon to help cover the cost. more

Rob quickly looked at my AC unit and found some dirty contacts and low freeon. He also suggested some surge protectors for the line. Only reason its not perfect was not checking warranty and needing a refund for that. Very good. more

Pros: After being solicited by a Home Depot employee regarding our air conditioners, one of which needed to be replaced, we were visited by Ted Steinbrecher from ARS. He was helpful in explaining to us the options for replacing one or both systems. When we wanted a few days to make a decision about the purchase he didn't over-pressure us to decide in the moment, which we appreciated. Ultimately, we feel that we got a fair price for the job. Cons: Ted misinformed us about part of our system, which necessitated additional negotiation and another installation visit to rectify. More frustrating, it took weeks of repeated follow-up on our part to get ARS to schedule that short appointment to finish the job. We were very unimpressed that once they had our money ARS seemed to lose all interest in responding to us or completing the job. The installers left many small screws in various locations (floor and elsewhere) in both the utility room and in the adjoining room of the house. We found these painfully with our feet, but were fortunate that our young children didn't find them first. The installers didn't give us an explanation of how to use the equipment. more

Mark D was our technician who arrived within 2 hours of our call. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He performed a free TV inspection of the line and let me see the image to show me exactly what was going on. His TV process actually unclogged a greasy drain, so no further work was needed. I feel like I could trust this company to perform work for me again. more
