This was a follow-up furnace repair to replace the defective board/safety switch issue discovered yesterday by Jimmy D. during my seasonal clean & check. Today's tech arrived one 1 hour 45 minutes late for an appointment window that was between noon & 4:00. At 4:30, I started calling ARS only nobody answered at the dispatch office. Eventually someone did and I was told "he's running late and they would contact him to determine his arrival time". I never got that call but at 5:45 the van arrived. Mike said "he had no idea when his scheduled arrival time was". Being very frustrated, I thought it best to let him do his work which he completed at 7:00 pm! That's when I told him how disappointed I was with the entire experience - spending 7 hours at home waiting for the safety switch to be replaced and not knowing when or if it would be since I never heard anything back from the dispatcher. His response..."Frankly, you're lucky you had it replaced this quickly at all".
