Christian seemed a bit uncomfortable with the hot water heater I own, but didn't give up. I worked him through my limited knowledge of the system, and some good detail on what happened. Working together, and Christian getting in touch with Whirlpool tech support, they came to a very logical solution. Whirlpool recommended a replacement part under warranty, Christian then followed up again based on his knowledge of water heaters, and in the end, a new part is on its way. This should solve the problem, meanwhile he and I discussed ways I can still take a shower, do the laundry, and run the dishwasher without triggering the over-pressure valve that would flood the basement floor. Bottom line -- more needs to be done, but once again, great service and response time from Unique Indoor...
