Exactly What You are looking For 1/9/2012

We live far from Bleeker Street and that I guess its well worth the lengthy travel completely towards the Mussel Pot. It had been my mommy’s birthday and that she swears that we are honoring it on a sea-food restaurant. His office-mate was the one that told him to try out this restaurant. The majority of us in the family love sea-food dishes, for this reason we instantly love the restaurant. I suppose they're excellent in most of all the things that they do. Their services are good and fast and the meals are superb. The ambiance from the place is great. They'd accomplished exactly what a person is looking for a cafe or restaurant. more

Great Staff 1/9/2012

The Mussel Pot really is one which you can rely on whenever we discuss good service. Almost all their employees are extremely accommodating and aimed at giving the finest dining experience they can offer. I believe their staff had gone through training about offering good treatment to customers. I suppose these are among the things that they're proficient at. There's nothing I possibly could request on them. They possess all the things that you are searching for an excellent dining experience: good food, pleasing atmosphere, accommodating staff and everything. more

My Deep Appreciation to the Mussel Pot 1/9/2012

Hello to all, I simply went by to provide my deep appreciation to the mussel pot for their Lobster Mac’n Cheese. I’ve had the experience yesterday and bought Lobster Mac’n Cheese and I was a lot more than satisfied after consuming it. It’s a very fresh lobster with hardwood smoked sausage with shiitake mushrooms that I think is ideal for my craving on sea-food meals. Plus their enjoyable place makes you need to stay for longer hours. Nice job Mussel Pot. more

Rich Sauces 1/9/2012

I'm not a large fan of sea-food meals but when I tried The Mussel Pot’s crispy fried calamari, it instantly grew to become my personal favorite. It’s funny cause whenever somebody mentions this restaurant it’s the fried calamari which will all of a sudden appear into my thoughts. They are offered with 3 dipping rich sauces - chipotle aioli, classic marinara and chimchurri sauce. I believe they work pretty much for making tasty sauces. Fried calamari is certainly not without their special sauces. more

My Preference 1/8/2012

Living in New York gives you the advantage of having more choices in terms of food establishments. But once you have many choices you will go looking for the best and I guess when it comes to mussel recipes or other seafood dishes, The Mussel Pot is the one that I will prefer. I like the uniqueness on how they prepare their foods. They are very unique in serving mussels in rich sauces instead of just broths. I guess their Mussels are the best in New York. They’re fast in their service for I never had to wait long enough for my food. And they also serve it with a smile. I just love most of the things that they do. And if you happen to dine here you would surely enjoy the elegance of the place. That’s why if I am craving for sea-foods I always prefer The Mussel Pot. more

Unique Taste 1/8/2012

The Mussel Pot is the first sea-food I ever dined and it was the most excellent experience for I have tried other restaurants of the like after that but I was disappointed. They have their own unique but remarkable taste that penetrates to your senses whenever you dine hear. I still haven’t found this unique taste in others unlike other restaurants that are almost the same. I also love how their staffs treat their customers. They lighten up the day of whoever they encounter to. Furthermore, they had a very wonderful place. Who would never want to go back here? Everyone will sure to learn to like this place. more

Mussels Have Pasta 1/8/2012

At first I never would have thought that Mussel Pot offers pasta. I love pasta ever since. I was used to eating in pastas in fast food chains and other restaurants that is why I’m always searching for this taste. I found this Rigatoni pasta on their menu and ordered. What excites me is that they have plenty of choices of sauces: vodka, alfredo, pesto, carbonara. I’ve already tried all of them except for the pesto and so far I liked all of them. They are very creative and skilled in terms of food preparation. I also love their whimsical ambiance and classy designs; it’s very pleasant to the eyes. I guess that is why many people really love to stay here. more

They’re Good: Sea-Food/Non-Sea-food 1/8/2012

I am not that fond of mussels but I still love the Mussel Pot and the other sea-food and non-sea-food dishes that they are proud to offer. I really love their Grilled Prime Rib Eye Steak with 14 oz. prime rib eye served with sauté mushrooms, broccoli & potatoes. Aside from sea-food dishes they are really good at some other dishes. I’m also glad they had a very fast service that I devoured it immediately the moment the food was served at my table. That was really fulfilling and a very unforgettable experience. I constantly am fond of to go back to this restaurant for it always make me feel good every time dine more

My Appreciation to The Mussel Pot 1/6/2012

Hello food lovers, I just came to acknowledge to the mussel pot’s excellence in creating sea food dishes especially my favorite Lobster Dijon. If you ever tried this mouth-watering dish it’s the one which served with saffron sauce, Dijon mustard, lobster sauce, smoked hardwood bacon, garlic, tarragon, baby shrimp and baby scallops. I’ve been at the restaurant two days ago and ordered the dish and I was more than satisfied after eating. Their chef is indeed an expert in creating these types of dishes. Plus their pleasant place makes you want to stay for hours. The place is simple yet elegant which vibrates a classy atmosphere. I also like their oasis garden with small Koi pond. Amazing Mussel Pot, job well done. more

Sea Food=Mussel Pot 1/6/2012

I am not really a huge fan of sea foods but once I tried The Mussel Pot’s Lobster Bisque I suddenly shifted. It immediately became my preference. It’s amusing cause amusing because whenever I hear someone talking about sea foods, The Mussel Pot is the thing that automatically comes into my mind. I can hardly forget their Lobster Bisque with sherry, brandy, baby shrimp, peas, shallots, lobster and craw-fish meat. Additionally, the Mussel Pot had a very nice interior design and classy ambiance. They have also this unique and invigorating outdoor garden and a small Koi pond that keeps your mind afresh. Great And Fast Service 1/6/2012

Although many people love to go here because of the food, my reason about going back here is their service. The mussel pot is definitely fast in serving their food products to their customers. This is truly what I am looking for every time I dine on a restaurant. I always observe to how fast they are in serving my food and this restaurant never failed to satisfy me in this aspect. I discovered this restaurant last February and since then I was used to go here whenever I missed their food recipes. One of my colleagues also tried it here and he certainly like staying here. more

Worth The While 1/5/2012

I like staying here at the Mussel Pot because of their delicious sea-food dishes and lovely ambiance. We’ve been here last week together with my sister. I ordered a New York Entrée (it’s the one with andouille sausage, baby shrimp, crawfish tails, gumbo sauce, and scallion) and I was highly satisfied. My sister added that their food was excellent it was well presented and served with a smile. I also find the place very inviting especially the rock-walled garden and Koi pond. Dining here is worth more

Two Thumbs Up 1/5/2012

Two thumbs up to the Mussel Pot, I only eat here once and I was highly satisfied with their food. I ordered Chef’s Best Entrée (with lobster cheese fondue, hard smoked bacon and roasted wild mushrooms) and I instantly shifted to become a sea food lover. One of my friend also had an experience dining here and he was impressed not only by the elegant place but by the uniqueness of their recipes. They chef is simply one of a kind. Good For Hanging-out 1/5/2012

If you are in New York and are looking for a perfect place to hang-out that serves unique sea-food dishes with classy atmosphere and accommodating staffs well I guess you better try the Mussel Pot. They had a wide list of mussel recipes as well as lobsters which are infused with classic comfort. They serve these with rich sauces and dipping instead of just broth which makes it more unique. The Mussel Pot is situated in a great spot in the village. The design is simple but beautiful and classy. It is good for unwinding and meeting or just hanging-out because they offer high-class wines too. As for me, I always come here because I feel good and more important for the staffs here are attentive and accommodating. more

Perfect For Unwinding 1/5/2012

The Mussel Pot is infusing classic comfort food into the mussels. Instead of just broth they served mussels with some tasty rich sauces that compliment the whole sea food dining experience. They offer more than just a casual, sleek dining atmosphere. One unique feature of the restaurant is an oasis outdoor garden located in the rear of the premise. It is covered with lush greenery and presents a cascading rock-waterfall and Koi fish pond. Whenever I dined here together with a special someone I always prefer to be seated near the garden for it is invigorating and refreshing. The restaurant is indeed an ideal place for unwinding from the busy work. With its refreshing ambiance and excellent food everything would seem to be perfect for you. more

From The Website 1/3/2012

I first found the Mussel Pot on the web so I decided to visit here once together with my brother Ed. Right after our individual work we headed directly towards the restaurant; we were both tired. My brother instantly loves it here for the place was pretty comfy. He considers the place as good for unwinding from the hard days work. The people here were accommodating as well which makes you want to stay for a couple of minutes. We ordered lobsters and mussels which I forgot the names and we find it very excellent. It’s definitely a must-visit sea-food restaurant of the country. I consider it as one of the country’s finest. more

Worth The Journey 1/3/2012

We live from a far away village from Bleeker Street and I guess it’s worth the long travel all the way down there at the Mussel Pot. It was my daddy’s birthday and he swears that we will be celebrating it on a sea food restaurant. His officemate was the one who told him to try the restaurant. Most of us are really fond of sea food that’s why we instantly love the place. I guess they are excellent in most of everything they do. Their service is good and fast and the food is superb. The ambiance of the place is excellent. They had achieved everything that a customer is looking for a restaurant. more

Excellent Meals at a Bargain Cost 12/17/2011

My husband and I have visited The Mussel Pot twice now. Mostly because it serves only good food at a good price, but also because it is excellent meals at a bargain cost. Most of the time we had the New Yorker and the Indian Mussels. The mussels were cooked completely and very healthy. Neither of us experienced any bad or negative about this restaurant or their food, and we were so happy about it because we had more than enough meals what we expect for. The staff and their service were also excellent. It was very completing - warm welcome. The food is relatively inexpensive for New york. Their presentation of their menus appeared beautifully. more

Amazing Meals and Service 12/17/2011

I am a consistent customer, especially for lunch in The Mussel Pot. Although most of the meals are good and nice, the baked recipes are sometimes a little plain. All the staff is very employed to me and instantly try to address any issues that come up. Best are their mussels and lobsters! Their various non seafood recipes are always delightful. I really like this place and will be coming back again here for some more amazing meals and service soon. I dropped by here for a brunch and was impressed by the dimension and good quality of the both the meals and staff, Where else can you get a brunch meal that can keep you full, employees were amazingly helpful and very friendly and the sweets were amazing. I really like this place and will be coming back again here for some more amazing meals and service soon. more
