Big Points To The Mussel Pot 1/13/2012

Since it was named Mussel Pot, I ordered mussels yesterday for lunch. I ordered the Indian mussel which is served with red curry, tomato, coconut milk, ginger, cloves, coriander, butter, chives and lime. My order was served in a big stainless Mussel Pot and a big smile. It’s unique; I love how they prepare the food, very satisfying. Plus the place has this refreshing ambiance. Staying here is like unwinding from your daily stress. I guess it’s because I was seated at the table located at the unique outdoor garden. It was adorned with cascaded rock wall with a small coy pond below it. I also love how they love their customers. The staffs are very attentive to my dining needs and are consistent in asking me if there is something more that I need big points to that. Overall, I love the Mussel Pot do their thing. more

The Mussel Pot Is Expert In Sea-foods 1/13/2012

Lovella is a friend of mine who really loves eating. She referred to me the Mussel Pot because it’s one of her favorite restaurants in New York. Indeed, when I tried the Mussel Pot’s sea-food dishes I was convinced that they are excellent in these types of foods. Last Sunday I brought my family here for a dinner and we all enjoyed the place. My auntie Dyna was good in cooking and she was impressed at the way the Mussel Pot prepared the food. She noted that the Mussel Pot is indeed an expert in sea-foods. My husband also loves it here. We both love the place and how it is embellished. more

World-class Taste 1/12/2012

I once enrolled at a culinary school and attain a little knowledge about food and cooking that is why I was amazed by the food recipes of the Mussel Pot. They had a unique taste that is pleasing to the senses. Its soothing aroma and delicious taste are the ideal characteristics of a pleasurable meal. I love their food preparation and how they experimented on different mussel recipes of different regions of the world. They captured the taste of different regions and infused classic comfort into the mussels with some hearty, rich sauces instead of just broths. more

It’s A Real Classic 1/12/2012

My best friend Fritz drags me at this restaurant yesterday. I was reluctant at first for the Mussel Pot was quite a long ride from our place. But upon arriving at the restaurant I was amazed by its elegance and whimsical ambiance. I thought at first that Fritz was Kind of being jerk but he was right. I absolutely love the place. He ordered me a mussel dish the American Chef’s Best with lobster cheese fondue, pancetta and black truffles. I never had eaten like this before but it really got me. It’s certainly one of the best I have ever tried. Another thing is that the place was very well adorned. It’s a real classic. My friend Fritz has just given me an Idea where to take my mommy in her birthday. more

I Love its Uniqueness 1/12/2012

I’ve been here at the Mussel Pot last Thursday afternoon having lunch and I was amazed by the mussels that I had ordered. I love the way they prepare it, instead of just broths they use rich sauce on it. Its uniqueness and richness in taste makes this restaurant one of a kind. I like their dining area as well because they had on their wall huge images of lovely beaches and their outdoor oasis garden were remarkable. The garden is cascaded with rocks on its wall and has a small Koi pond beneath it. I love their uniqueness in almost everything. Dining here certainly is a wonderful experience for you. more

They Have Pasta Too 1/12/2012

In the beginning I never might have believed that Mussel Pot offers pasta. I really like pasta since I was a child. I had been accustomed to eating pastas in fast food chains along with other restaurants that is why I’m always looking for this taste. I discovered this Rigatoni pasta on their menu and added one to my order. What excites me is they have ample options of sauces: vodka, alfredo, pesto and carbonara. I’ve already tried the four of them and I loved the uniqueness of each flavor; these are all good. They're very creative and skilled when it comes to preparing food. I additionally love their fanciful ambiance and trendy designs it’s very pleasurable towards the eyes. I suppose these were the reasons why many people love to remain here. more

Although a lot of people love to visit here due to the excellent food, my reason why I keep on coming back is their service. The mussel pot is certainly fast in serving their food items for their customers. This really is what I am looking for each time I dine on a restaurant. I usually observe to how quickly they are in serving my food but the Mussel Pot never failed to serve my food on time. I came across this restaurant last June and ever since I quickly was accustomed to here whenever I miss their food recipes. I once meet an officemate dining here and he was impressed by the food and service the restaurant offers. more

We Both Love It 1/12/2012

My college friend Lief asked me for a food trip last Monday and he was very thrilled about her recently discovered sea food restaurant that he wants me to try it too. I had been stunned when we arrived because it’s also my personal favorite seafood restaurant: The Mussel Pot. I did previously dine here before and I guess it had been the very best in New York. We were both surprised at what we had just learned. It had been indeed our best nights together. Both of us purchased The Chef’s Best (with lobster cheese fondue, hard smoked sausage and roasting wild mushrooms) also it was indeed the very best lobster we have ever had. We loved Assorted Sorbet (smooth sorbets with a range of raspberry, passion fruit, or mango) and also got a wine bottle later on. We loved the graceful atmosphere of the place. Everything just seems right. more

Instant Favorite 1/12/2012

The Bouillabaisse mussel is the one which you should try to order at the Mussel Pot. It's the one with fresh scallops, clams, shrimp and thick saffron broth. Very mouth-watering is it not? They serve meals while it was still boiling hot. The employees of the restaurant are extremely mindful and nice which is why I fall in love with the restaurant the first time me and my two buddies dined here. I love how they embellished the whole restaurant. It is simple but elegant and very cozy. Not to mention their world-class food which are uniquely prepared. I honestly love it here. more

Beautiful Outdoor Garden 1/12/2012

One thing which I can’t forget in my experience in the Mussel Pot is their rock-walled outdoor garden. I happened to dine in the restaurant once and that we happened to sitting while dining nearest the garden which delights me most. The garden is the most unique part of the restaurant, it's an oasis outside garden situated at the rear of the dining area. It's covered in lush greenery featuring a cascading down rock waterfall along with a small Koi pond. The Mussel Pot will transcend diners via a mussel journey full of new flavor profiles they might haven't experienced before. The gorgeous place and also the tasty food make up a perfect dining. Yes, it is the must-visit ocean food restaurant in New York City. more

I Can’t Forget the Mussel Pot I'm not a real huge fan of seafood meals but when I tried ordering The Mussel Pot’s Lobster Bisque I all of a sudden moved. It immediately grew to become my preference. It’s amusing cause amusing because whenever I hear someone speaking about seafood meals, The Mussel Pot is the one thing that instantly comes to my thoughts. I'm can hardly forget their Lobster Bisque with sherry, brandy, baby shrimp, peas, shallots, lobster and craw-fish meat. Furthermore, the Mussel Pot was built with an excellent interior planning and trendy ambiance. They also have this excellent and invigorating outside garden along with a small Koi pond that keeps the mind anew. If you are to dine at a seafood restaurant in New York, I highly suggest that you must try The Mussel Pot. more

Famous Mussel Pot 1/11/2012

I usually find myself very picky when it comes to sea food dish for this reason I had been just a little reluctant in the beginning to dine in the Mussel Pot. The restaurant incidentally was very famous in New York that is why one evening me and my officemate made the decision to try it out. I was stunned and instantly like it here. I'm certainly fall deeply in love with the restaurant. Their tasty Broccoli Au Gratin mussels were awesome. It is comes with broccoli, cream, butter, cheddar, Monterey jack and sliced walnuts. We loved their assorted Italian gelato dessert creamy gelato. It has a choice of chocolate, vanilla, pistachio or Nutella flavor-hmmn tasty. It’s absolutely probably the most wonderful time together. The place and the recipes were very unique. more

I usually think about this place as among the best. Last evening, as I was eating I'm wondering about why I love Mussel Pot more than other restaurants of the like. I believe it’s because of certain attributes. The place was located in an excellent place within the village. The inside designs are elegant, classy and delightful. They play relaxing music in the right volume. Additionally they were built with a very accommodating and mindful employees that places your order in an earlier some time and having a proper attitude. They're consistent and excellent in maintaining cleanliness and table availability. The general ambiance from the place is great, comfy and relaxing. Additionally they have a wide-variety of top-class wines. And lastly they're expert in satisfying their craving clients using their unique and world-class food. The dishes are well-presented and have truly remarkable taste. I guess because of all these attributes why I could say that they are the best. more

Delicious Crab Cakes 1/11/2012

Me and a friend of mine happen to be at “The Mussel Pot” last Tuesday and that I for me personally it had been among the best dining experience (my buddy feels exactly the same way too). I believe that you need to try their mussel pot Maryland Crab Cakes it’s the main one with black bean & corn relish, citrus aioli, chipotle mayo wheel. Oh! It’s a very mouth-watering crab cake that simply talking of it can make me feel like I’m hungry again. I have observed that, the restaurant is extremely enjoyable because of its cozy ambiance and it offers comfortable dining. It makes me each time I trip to dine here. My friend added that she would go back here and bring here mommy (who is good in cooking) to try the Mussel Pot’s unique recipes. more

Worth Your Time 1/11/2012

I love staying at the Mussel Pot due to their lip smacking sea-food dishes and wonderful ambiance. We’ve been here a week ago along with my sister. I purchased a New York mussel (it’s the main one with andouille sausage, baby shrimp, crawfish tails, gumbo sauce, and scallion) and that I was highly satisfied. My sister added that their food was excellent it had been well presented and offered with a warm smile. I additionally discover the place very inviting particularly the rock-walled garden and Koi pond. Dining here is well worth your precious time. more

They provide more than sleek dining atmosphere. One unique feature of the restaurant is their oasis outside garden situated at the rear of the premise. You will find many restaurants here in New York that I have tried and so far many of them are good however I think The Mussel Pot is just the best in terms sea food dishes. This restaurant includes a wide -variety of mussel quality recipes to select from along with the most sought-after lobster dishes. These were also well-prepared and were served with rich sauces instead of just broths. Dining here is also an excellent dining experience for the area is extremely cozy and stylish. I suppose they spend much effort in delivering the very best dining experience for their customers. Everybody will certain to have good time dining at the Mussel Pot. more

I've got a little patience to food establishments especially when it comes to the speed of serving my food items. I choose the restaurants and that I must dine that is why the Mussel Pot is on my list. I can tell the employees are extremely mindful to serve my food in an earlier time. It is really an ultimate dining experience for me personally. Getting the food promptly especially when you are craving for it is really a big deal for a customer. Hamburger and Fries in Abundance 1/10/2012

In the beginning I never imagined this ocean food restaurant offers hamburger and fries. I’m sort of accustomed to eating in fast food chains and hamburger joints and that's why my tongue is definitely searching for this taste every once in a while. When my loved ones made the decision to dine at the mussel pot, it was the first time that I learned that they also offered hamburger and fries and even pastas. My hubby loved her longing for ocean meals as I occupy myself with those tasty carbs. I find it tastier than what I’ve used to. I've found the folks very accommodating and pleasing. It’s an excellent experience we had her. more

  • At the Mussel Pot, Executive chef Vinicio Lantigua will be giving the mollusks the cosmopolitan treatment: His 1-pound pots (served with house made bread for dipping) are prepared in the spirit of Italy with 4 Italian styles, India (with red curry, tomato, coconut milk), Spain-Valenciana, (with clams, chorizo, fennel, peas, etc.), and other countries like France, Mexico and the good old USA. Plus, there will be other crowd-pleasers like lobster mac & cheese with black truffles, lobster sliders, spicy buttermilk fried chicken & waffles, Guinness Beer battered soft-shell crab sandwich, seafood tower, prime rib eye topped with blue cheese butter, burger with sweet potato fries and a rigatoni dish with choice of 6 sauces. When the weathers nice, you can decide between sidewalk seating and an outdoor garden complete with a cascading waterfall and a pond holding Koi.
