Relaxing Place 2/25/2012

I was really impressed with the taste of the food because it tasted very delicious.The ambiance of the restaurant is really relaxing. They likewise have these enormous images of gorgeous beaches that cause you to feel great. I have to also say that they're very outstanding with their sea food quality recipes. more

They say that the food in the mussel pot restaurant taste good and very delicious. Indeed, it is really true. Many to mention 2/20/2012

There are many variants of food in the menu of the mussel pot restaurant to choose from and all of them tasted so good. I like the sauces of each dish. The plating was really impressive because of its clean presentation and uniqueness of its design. The place was quite very romantic yet simple but very elegant. more

When I was a child, eating is my favorite thing to do. Until when I get old, that is why when I tasted the food at the mussel pot restaurant I was really impressed with the taste of the food because it tasted very delicious. Unique Food Preparation 2/16/2012

I once enroll at a cooking school and achieve a little knowledge about cooking that is why I was amazed by the mussel dishes of the Mussel Pot. They had this distinct taste that is pleasing to the senses. Its comforting aroma and appetizing taste are the ideal characteristics of a lovely meal. I love the uniqueness of their food preparation and how they experimented on diverse mussel recipes. They had achieved the distinct taste of each region and infused classic comfort into the mussels with some hearty, rich sauces. It’s worth the money you paid. more

Tidy and Elegant 2/16/2012

We went here the other day and ordered their Louisiana (andouille sausage, baby shrimp, crawfish tails, gumbo sauce, scallion). This dish is very mouth-watering and appetizing. It’s nicely-prepared and was served while it was still hot. I also can’t resist trying the Nutella Flan dessert with a traditional flan with a chocolate twist, topped with fresh whipped cream, roasted almonds. It’s very delightful. I love going back here at the Mussel Pot not only because of their excellent food but also because of their ambiance as well. They have very tidy and elegant surroundings with a fanciful ambiance. more

Impressive Food and Service 2/16/2012

I once tried the Mussel Pot’s Manhattan (tomato sauce, clams, sherry, white wine, onions, potatoes, carrots, basil, fresh oregano and cream). It was served in a big stainless steel pot. The flavor was one of a kind; it was the first time I ate that kind of dish and I find it very refreshing. I was also impressed by the genuineness of the personnel. They are very thoughtful to our needs even though it was very packed that day. They still have time to replenish our water which I find very amazing. I referred this restaurant to some of my officemates who likes sea foods and they are delighted to try it too. more

I like Their Place 2/16/2012

I like their place it’s very cozy. They had a very elegant dining place. They lined their walls with huge and glossy mirrors and the ceiling had a couple of handcraft chandeliers hanging into it. It really looks good as the outdoor oasis garden. The outdoor garden is covered with lush greenery and has a small Koi pond built into it. The service was fast and reliable. I didn’t have to wait long enough for my order to arrive. The food was hot and tastes fresh. The meat was very juicy especially the mussels, it’s one of the best I have ever taste so far. more

The Mussel Pot is a Specialist 2/6/2012

Dad like lobsters for this reason he wants me to bring him to some sea-food restaurant, fortunately I discovered the Mussel Pot in the web and browse a couple of reviews. It had been a 30-minute ride from my apartment and so I think it’s just well worth the ride. It’s an excellent restaurant. Both of us love the ambiance of the place. It’s very fancy dining here. The inside of the store was well-embellished and it is classy and that's why it would be very enjoyable dining here. The atmosphere looks neat and the hostess is very thoughtful. We never wait long enough for the food to arrive. The mussel pot salad was lovely and was still very fresh. Its fresh poached blue mussels, shallots, grape tomato plants, baby shrimp, cucumber, tulsi, olives, feta, plant vinaigrette and vegetables. For the entree, we purchased the Bouillabaisse with fresh scallops, clams, shrimp and thick saffron broth. My daddy really loves everything. The reviews on the internet were right; the Mussel Pot really is a specialist in mussel dishes. more

Pleasurable 2/6/2012

I really love the Mussel Pot. I'm not proficient at interior designs however I really adore the way the Mussel pot is embellished and exactly how they arrange things. It’s very pleasurable towards the eyes. The area is very enticing and comfy. The Mussel Pot was as far as I have experienced was very reliable to maintain their overall cleanliness, which becomes their edge against other restaurants. Untidiness is exactly what I personally don't like about other food industries. These were so focused regarding how to do their business and often overlook other important things. So far as I’m concerned the clients here looks very content and pleased. The atmosphere was very lively. It really is a world-class place without doubt. more

Relaxing Experience 2/6/2012

A week ago I and my other buddies scheduled to create a reunion in the Mussel Pot. It had been my very first time only at that restaurant and that I was surprised by the wonder place. All of us loved its unique and chic atmosphere. The designs and styles all through the area were simple but very elegant. I was sitting close to the rock-walled, Koi-pounded outside oasis garden that is very refreshing. They likewise have these enormous images of gorgeous beaches that cause you to feel great. i was pleasantly surprised with how fresh and delicious all of the mussels and apps were here. i'd heard it was new so i know that is always a gamble, but it was very good! they have afew things to work on, but there still new and i can tell theyll be around a while more

Enjoyable Place 2/5/2012

Nessa and Nathaniel, two of my best friends are big fans of sea foods. They in truth love lobsters and mussels, these perhaps the reason why they really love the Mussel Pot. Last Thursday I spotted them again at the said restaurant. They were having dinner and look amused. I joined them and they made me to try the Valenciana. It was a very delicious dish and certainly a very unique dish. They love the place because they just like it here enjoying the refreshing environment and fanciful ambiance. They have also nothing to criticize about the personnel for they observed that the staffs were very thoughtful and kind. more

The Taste Was Excellent 2/5/2012

I had tried the Mussel Pot’s Chef’s Best. It was served in a huge stainless steel pot. The taste was excellent; it was the first time I tried this type of dish. The mussels were fresh and juicy. I also appreciate the sincerity of the personnel. They are very thoughtful to our needs even though it was very busy that day. They still manage to replenish our water which I find very sweet. I referred the Mussel Pot to some of my associates who are fund of eating sea foods and they are excited to try it too. more

Very Pleasing 2/5/2012

I have been wanting to try out the Mussel Pot and the chance presented it self when my friend and I discovered a Groupon...we were satisfied since after looking at the menu it was a bit pricey.  We were excited, then as we got closer to using the Groupon. So when we arrived at the Mussel Pot, I told the waiter who I was and that I was waiting for my friend to come...I ordered a glass of wine from the bartender, she was sweet, funny and pleasing...kept me entertain while I waited another 10 minutes for my friend to arrive.  When we arrived we sat all the way in the back of the restaurant; it was pretty busy but the waiters still manage to replenish our water.  We received our orders after 22 minutes…not bad…for the place was overwhelming. I was well lit, not so dim and not so bright. The background music was soothing and the volume was just right. Most of all the food was very pleasing. more

I like the Mussel Pot because of many factors. They are the best when it comes to mussel dishes. The sea-foods are newly-harvested throughout the year that’s why the dishes are very fresh. The mussels are uniquely prepared with its thick and rich sauces. The sea-foods are tasty and juicy. The ambiance of the place is fanciful and the interior design is well-created while the outdoor garden displays a very romantic atmosphere. The cleanliness of the restaurant is well-maintained as well as the comfort rooms. more

I’m More Amazed 2/2/2012

I went back at the Mussel Pot yesterday and everything seems improved. They serve faster than two months ago. I was amazed at my first visit here and now I was more amazed. The mussels freshness is consistent. The meat is still very juicy and tasty. The environment look more fantastic especially the outdoor oasis garden. The environment look more neat and pleasing. more

More Desirable 2/1/2012

I bring my mother and a younger sister here for dinner about a week ago. If I’m not mistaken it was my third time that I dine at a sea-food restaurant. They are unique and I like it. It’s a vintage restaurant but classy. The indoor view is really great and relaxing. It was busy though but we still manage to find a table for us. A hostess named Jacky introduced herself to us and took our orders. She is polite and responsive to my questions and she was smiling the whole time. I observed that there was an outdoor garden but it was already full. Moments had passed and our appetizer the crispy fried calamari arrived. It was good especially that the coating is crunchy. After a few minutes the mussels arrived on a big pot with a lid. I like for it was still very hot and you really feel that the mussels are still very fresh. The sauces are rich and tasty. Their recipes are far more desirable than what I have tried at home or in other restaurants. more

One of the Best In New York 2/1/2012

The Mussel Pot is I think one of the best restaurants here in New York. It was a really nice and fanciful restaurant from its design to the food it served. They are just excellent. They offer more than a sleek, casual dining atmosphere. The whole place is elegant and neat with its brilliant and sleek mirrors lining the walls and the handmade chandeliers hanged into their ceilings. The cleanliness is very well-maintained especially at the comfort rooms. I am really particular about it. The waiters are very friendly and responsive. I remember my companion told me that his water was being refilled at least three times even without asking them. The food especially was undeniably unique with quality preparation. We ordered the Lobster Mac’n Cheese for the apps and it was great, very creamy. I had the New York for the entrée while my friend companion tried the Chef’s Best. The mussels are still fresh and are still very hot. The sauces are very tasty. Both are mouth-watering dishes but I guess the Chef’s Best is a must try in the restaurant. more

  • At the Mussel Pot, Executive chef Vinicio Lantigua will be giving the mollusks the cosmopolitan treatment: His 1-pound pots (served with house made bread for dipping) are prepared in the spirit of Italy with 4 Italian styles, India (with red curry, tomato, coconut milk), Spain-Valenciana, (with clams, chorizo, fennel, peas, etc.), and other countries like France, Mexico and the good old USA. Plus, there will be other crowd-pleasers like lobster mac & cheese with black truffles, lobster sliders, spicy buttermilk fried chicken & waffles, Guinness Beer battered soft-shell crab sandwich, seafood tower, prime rib eye topped with blue cheese butter, burger with sweet potato fries and a rigatoni dish with choice of 6 sauces. When the weathers nice, you can decide between sidewalk seating and an outdoor garden complete with a cascading waterfall and a pond holding Koi.
