I made the mistake of purchasing a month of training through Groupon for this company. After numerous, emails directly to them, phone calls, and questions on how to reserve a training spot on their website forums I never received any answer or response. This continued for several months until my time to redeem the deal expired. I was very, very disappointed with this company. I would not recommend wasting your time and money on it. more

Find a REAL bootcamp 8/1/2011

I find it interesting that almost all the reviews of this bootcamp were written on or around 5/26/2010 - tells me they're probably not real reviews. I made the mistake of attending after reading these reviews and WOW - this wasn't real bootcamp. Sorry, people, but if you think this one is actually good (or even acceptable) you need to try one of the many REAL bootcamps around Atlanta. The instructor has no idea how to motivate people. He didn't try to learn anyone's name and half the time he sat on the grass facing AWAY from our class while we ran up and down a hill. Hill workouts are great, but I'm paying to be pushed. How about you get up off your a$$ and run with us? Or encourage the people falling behind? Also, I was under the impression we'd be outside - using things around us for our workout. No. Two days a week were held inside the hell of all malls - Gwinnett Place Mall. The store he turned into a studio was dirty and disgusting. Not a place I wanted to lie down and do ab work - I'd much rather be on the ground in the park where birds and dogs...well, you know what they do. I could keep going on here, but that's pointless. This bootcamp sucks. Period. It has the potential to be OK if the owner would put a little effort into it, though. Small changes would make a huge difference. more

THE ULTIMATE WORKOUT EXPERIENCE 6/1/2010

Well, Body Firm Atl definitely sets the fitness standard by providing a versatile workout program, bringing life to it through creative means and just making it an enjoyable experience. \r \r I also appreciate how the trainers show regard for other aspects that influence my results such as eating habits. (Most times we are allowed 1 cheat day)\r \r This is 'THE ULTIMATE' workout experience. Pros: improved endurance Cons: can't eat what i want all the time more

Reshaping body and life 5/27/2010

I have attended many boot camps but it was much different working with Dez. I came in thinking I could just do the bare minimum, lose a little weight and all was good. NOT! He didn't tolerate my slack and kept pushing me to realize that I could accomplish allot if I pressed. The workouts were excellent, just when you thought you could handle it, Dez would change it and take you to the next level. The monitoring and constantly writing down what you were eating each day was invaluable. I would avoid eating junk, just because I didn't want to hear Dez's mouth the next morning :) \r \r If you follow his lead - the results he promises are the results you will get. Life Changing 5/26/2010

I am a working mother with two kids who never thought that I had time to work out. Dez White's Body Firm has changed that for me. During my first workout with him, I thought that I would not finish his class, but Dez gave me the motivation and inspiration to keep pushing through each exercise. I built up my confidence little by little at each session and now I actually enjoy coming to my workouts! I never get bored because Dez never does the same workout twice. This is something I value and that I have never found anywhere else. I love coming to his classes not only because of Dez but because of the great people that I meet there that are just like me...trying to reach a goal. Dez is the absolute best trainer that I have ever had. He makes me feel like I am getting a celebrity workout at a Wal-Mart price. His classes are always creative, challenging and educational. He will even develop a personalized fitness plan to help with your problem areas and combine that with his nutritional plan. To top it all off he has a great personality that will help you get through any workout no matter how hard. I have made a lifetime commitment to myself to continue working out with Dez because of the results that I have seen. As long as you put in the work Dez will guide you to your goal. After only six weeks of working out with Dez I lost 2.5 inches from my waist, 1 inch from hips, and two inches off my thighs. This has been a life changing experience and I can't wait to find out how many more inches I have lost! See you at the next workout. I gained a lot of weight from college and starting my career and I felt like there just wasn't enough hours in the day to have a good work out routine. Dez completely changed my view of that.\r \r The Body Firm is not a regular bootcamp. It's really is a lifestyle change. There are a lot of different class times and the variety of exercises really keep you motivated and focused. I came into The Body Firm unsure of if I could keep it up because I was totally out of shape but Dez made it so easy through constant feedback, encouragement and just an all around knowledge of different body types and how to do what's best for you. I've have been to several fitness boots camps and The Body Firm is by far the Best! My first day of boot camp I thought was going to be a breeze. Boy was I wrong, I was out of breathe before I even finished the warm up. Dez is a great trainer, each workout is different then the last and he will push you during every workout from beginning to end. His motto is ""Don't cheat yourself"". Everyday I surprise myself more and more on how much more in shape I'm becoming So for all of your who have been cheating on your diets and putting off getting in shape, Don't cheat yourself another day! Get in shape fast! 5/26/2010

Dez is an awesome trainer and I really enjoyed working out with him, even at 5:30am! I enjoyed it so much that I am starting back up next week! His workouts are never the same, and they are even fun! This program is for people at all fitness levels, even those brand new to working out. Workouts consist of weights, running, games, drills, etc. You see results quickly, and have more energy than you thought possible. The price is very reasonable and so worth it! Times and locations vary, so there is something that fits into everyones schedule! And, if you miss a class, you can double up the next day, or even go to one at a different time. If you are looking for a fun and exciting new workout with quick results- this is definitely where you need to be! more

Who needs a gym membership 5/26/2010

I've been working with Dez for almost a year and quit my gym about 8 months ago. This program is great, not just fun and hard, but Dez makes the difference. Having a trainer that knows how to incoporate fun activiites, with hard work, and adding in the health and nutrition aspect is great. If you are looking for variety in your workout this is the place to be. I've been an athlete all my life and this still kicks my butt at 5:30am. Its a great way to stay in shape, get back in shape, maintain or lose weight, and its catered to all levels of fitness and athleticism. Don't wait too long, come see for yourself. The Body Firm AtL is the way to go. I've been working with Dez White for almost 3 months and I'm seeing some great results and have learn the correct way of having a healthy balance diet.\r \r I used to feel so tired after work. Now I'm energized everyday and I don't need coffee. All my friends and family have noticed my results. Arm, leg, and body definition. I love it. I just got back from South Beach and got so many compliments.\r \r The workouts are never the same. We work with weights, kickboxing, cardio abs, sprints, you name it. Dez is always there to inpsire and motivate you.\r \r There's no excuse. There's morning and evening sessions. So don't wait get on board! Dez is absolutely the best trainer to get you pumped up at 530 in the morning ! The workouts are never boring and never the same thing twice. In addition to the workouts Dez is always giving great diet tips in order to maximize our workout. \r All of my co-workers and family have noticed my new figure- its definitely a confidence booster. Amazing workouts with fast results!! 5/26/2010

OMG!! This is the most fun I have had exercising. The classes are NEVER boring, always unpredictable, no additional equipment required (with the exception of 5lb weights), and fun. I belong to a local gym and NEVER go but I rarely miss The Body Firm's boot camp.\r \r My arms and legs have defination now without looking bulky. Stretching is a huge part of the workout mixed in with aerobics exercise and light weights. Everyday the focus is on another area so your body has time to recover. And then of course there is FUN FRIDAY where we focus on team sports, ranging from soccor, kickball, relay races, etc. It is so much fun watching grown adults play kickball. \r \r The classes are conveniently located with convenient times. Some of the classes are held indoors due the weather, but outside when the weather is beautiful. And for the monthly fee, you can go to as many classes in a month as you can manage. So if your schedule is flexible or if you are looking for rapid weightloss and shaping, there are many opportunities to participate. Pros: Addicting, fun, never boring, exciting, educational Cons: You will soon be buying smaller size clothes. more

I have been working out with Dez for almost a year now and it has been great! I have gotten back into my ""skinny"" jeans and feel great! I have more energy throughout the day and I eat healthier.
