Best thing we ever did for our Boxer 3/25/2010

Pets Best is top notch. We recently had a very serious and lengthy illness which included an expensive hospital stay with labs and procedures for our l yr old Boxer. Pets Best came through without a hitch. We are so greatful that we found them through our Vets office. As a responsible pet owner, I believe our Pets deserve the best love and care we can provide in return for their love and loyalty. It gives me great peace of mind to know that I can provide that for my beautiful boxer through Pets Best without the worry of a catastrophic illness taking its financial toll. Thank you again. PetsBest exceeded expecations in several ways 3/24/2010

I first learned about PetsBest from our veterinarian about a year ago after adopting a 5-6 year old German shepherd dog named Kara. At the time, I had a 2 yeard old GSD I adopted the previous year named Rocky. He was on a VPI policy. I had no insurance for our 10 year old Dinah, also a GSD, but had decided after a very expensive year with Dinah about five years ago that required back surgery, that I would put all future dogs on health insurance. I figured Dinah was a lost cost due to her age and prior history, but she recovered and enjoyed five years of exellent health until just recently. I had planned to add Kara to the VPI policy. When I saw the PetsBest program over a year ago I learned two things that really caught my attention; 1) PetsBest accepts dogs 10 years old; and 2) only asked for one year of medical history. This meant I could insure both Dinah and Kara so I enrolled them both. I was so pleased with the service during the first year, thatmoved Rocky on to our PetsBest policy. Then, starting late in 2009, Dinah started having symptoms of some GI disturbances--some blood, then mucus, then diarhea with all symptoms becoming worse no matter what we tried. We were surprised and dismayed to learn in March 2010 that she has extensive cancer in her large intensine/colon and in her chest and recently euthanzied her. PetsBest responded promptly to our claims during this period. In addition, PetsBest responded immediatley to notice of our final claim--cost to euthanize Dinah--with notice that the company would refund the balance of the premiums I had prepayed on our policy for Dinah. I couldn't be more pleased with how PetsBest handled the claims and the refund and the fact that Dinah was insured. I only whish that I had not actually needed the insurance and that Dinah was well! I look forward to having more dogs--I like having at least three--and I will ensure them through PetsBest. more

Dear Pets Best, I shudder to think what we would have done without. We recently went through a very difficult time when Tigger got sick and the bills started piling up. Luckily we had you. When one of your loved ones becomes ill, the last thing you think of is "can we afford this?", instead, what you actually say is "lets somehow, no matter what, find a way to pay for this" and we'll worry about it later. We are going through a difficult time financially and all those Vet bills would have made things so much worse. Again, we were lucky we had you and did not have to worry about the bills, instead we concentrated on doing whatever was necessary for Tigger until there was no more any one could possibly do for her. You made a very difficult situation easier to endure. The professionalism, courteousness, and super customer service exhibited by everyone we came in contact with resolved all our claims super fast and without problems. During her final days, all of our attention was focused on Tigger and nothing else. We can't thank you enough. Oscar more

I switched to this company after being very disappointed with another widely-used company. I have never been disappointed in Pets Best, from beginning to end, their customer service was outstanding. I filed many claims, and each was handled extremely quickly, professionally, and with a detailed explanation. I always felt like a valued customer with Pets Best, and truly felt my pet's best interests were being served by this company. I highly recommend Pets Best to anyone needing pet insurance. more

I had to send this email to say thank you for the incredible service. I just opened my new policy for my puppy and 5 year old dog just a couple of weeks ago. I purchased the additional well program for my 14 week old puppy. I had a well appointment for her last thursday 3/4/10 and yesterday 3/8/10 I already received my check. I couldn't believe it. Actually, on 3/5/10, the day I faxed the claim in I received an email a few hours later saying the claim had already been processed. I never thought that it would have been mailed that quickly. I did a lot of research before picking a pet insurance company and found that your company had the best reviews and best coverage. I am so glad I went with Pets Best. Great 3/4/2010

We got Pets Best Insurance for our three beagles on the recommendation of our vet ... and we are so happy we did. Only a couple months after getting the insurance, our beloved senior dog(17.5 years) contracted pancreantitis and the bill was over $1600 for diagnosis and treatment. Because he had never had this problem before, Pets Best covered nearly the entire amount, and within days of submitting the claim we had a check. The peace of mind we get with this insurance is worth every penny of the premium. more

Affordable Peace of Mind 2/17/2010

Pets Best, is truely a caring company. They treated me as if I were a friend when I had questions through tears about my dogs cancer diagnosis. I sent in my claim forms and within 11 days, I received my check and can rest easy knowing, I'm doing the best I can for my pet with Pets Best on my side. I'm glad I can choose my vet and not be tied to someone that I may not feel comfortable treating my pet. more

For me, having insurance coverage for my dog through Pets Best Insurance has been a godsend. After I signed up with Pets Best, my dog got cancer, so the insurance has really been priceless in that it has given me peace of mind. Dogs become so important in our lives and you do not want to be in a situation where you have to compromise your pet's care. I initially decided to get insurance because a friend of mine had a dog that had non-cancerous tumors that kept spreading and had to spend a lot of money on treatments for the dog. It made me think about the health care of my own dog, and how I would not want to compromise his care if I were in a similar situation. I did some research on different pet insurance companies, and Pets Best seemed to have a good reputation. I signed up for their top plan because I wanted the best coverage for my dog. Unfortunately, I have been going from hospital to hospital now and have had to have a lot of dealings with Pets Best. I have been very impressed with their service. They provide an easy claim form, which I fax to them, and they send me an email confirmation that they received it. When I did this recently, the claim was processed a few days later and I received the money that I expected to get back. The insurance coverage that Pets Best provides has been invaluable and I would encourage other pet owners to get it for their pets. Jon Layish more

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your great service and help when my oldest boy needed it! A sizeable tumor was found in Boz's spleen & some suspicious nodules on his liver. His spleen was removed & the nodules were found to be benign, thank goodness. His outcome may have not been so good if I had not gotten your insurance on him, since the surgery was not cheap. I received the reimbursement check in the mail 7 days after the claim was faxed to you, which was awesome! I am an ER-registered veterinary technician & I see many pets that are put down because the owners are not able to pay for their care. When I adopted an older cat, I knew there would be issues down the road, which is why I got pet insurance. It allows me to take care of her because I know I do not have to make decisions about her health based on cost. I chose Pets Best Insurance because it was the best option that I could find for an older cat. I have been using Pets Best for about 2 years now and my experience with them has been quite good. First and foremost, what they promise is what you will get. Other pet insurance companies may cover different things, but with Pets Best, there are no surprises. There is truth in their advertising. Their customer service has been very accurate and timely, and their claim process is incredibly easy. Most of the time, they respond back in 10 days or less, and usually it is less. When they have had to get records from the vet and it has taken longer than 10 days, they send me an email notification to let me know. I appreciate getting email notifications from them about what has been processed and when, so that I can keep track of it. Everything has been very positive with Pets Best. more

My dog had an emergency surgery about a year ago and it cost about $3,500. After that, I decided that we needed to get pet insurance. I tried a few other companies before I went to Pets Best Insurance. Whereas another company would not give me the insurance because we did not have a document of the mass that had been removed from my dog, Pets Best did not ask me for any medical records. I also had a few friends who had used Pets Best and were happy with them. So far, everything has been awesome. I have a problem-child dog that gets sick once a month, and Pets Best has been very quick with processing claims. Normally, I get about 80 percent back. They are so efficient: Every time I call, they are kind and have answers to my questions. Pets Best is one of the few companies that makes you feel that they actually care about you as an individual. You are not just another customer. more

I initially selected a total of 3 or 4 pet insurance companies that I contacted regarding pet insurance for my dog. I went with Pets Best Insurance because they were the most professional. My experience with Pets Best has been exceptional. I found the policy to be clearly written...you actually understand it when you read it. They speak in plain English and are easy to deal with because they are efficient and clear. I had to make a claim within the first 4 or 5 months, and Pets Best was very helpful. They also paid it immediately, in a very timely manner. I wish I got the same kind of service for my own health care! more

I decided to use Pets Best Insurance because I was unhappy with the previous pet insurance I had, which was not very good. My pet had cancer and it seemed like my previous coverage hardly covered anything. I have been with Pets Best for about 2 years now (in December). They are easy to work with and respond quickly to my questions. They also are quick about tending to the claim checks and getting those to you. Of all the different pet insurance companies out there, I think that Pets Best Insurance offers the best coverage. more

Very approachable, responsive, and fabulous claims processing. 10/1/2009

I started using Pets Best Insurance about 3 years ago. Their service is so terrific that I have no desire to go anywhere else. My dog had a recurrent ear infection and, initially, I did not remember that I had insurance that covered that kind of thing. However, after we ran up about $1,000 in bills, I called Pets Best to see if they would take old claims and they were great about answering my questions on the phone. They said that they would take claims as far back as 6 months. I packaged up a stack of claims that I sent to them, thinking that they would probably reject half of them, but they did not reject any. There was never a wrinkle, question or objection regarding the claims that I sent. My checks came right away. I expected to be canceled by Pets Best but they did not cancel me. I sent them a note about how happy I was with their service and let them know that we had the ear infection under control, having switched vets. I have already recommended Pets Best to my poodle play group. They have been nothing but fabulous. Not only are they very approachable, but they are easy to get in touch with and responsive.
