My dog had an emergency surgery about a year ago and it cost about $3,500. After that, I decided that we needed to get pet insurance. I tried a few other companies before I went to Pets Best Insurance. Whereas another company would not give me the insurance because we did not have a document of the mass that had been removed from my dog, Pets Best did not ask me for any medical records. I also had a few friends who had used Pets Best and were happy with them.
So far, everything has been awesome. I have a problem-child dog that gets sick once a month, and Pets Best has been very quick with processing claims. Normally, I get about 80 percent back. They are so efficient: Every time I call, they are kind and have answers to my questions. Pets Best is one of the few companies that makes you feel that they actually care about you as an individual. You are not just another customer.
