Worst

I can't believe this place is on any "best of..." list. The food is terrible. Went there one night about a year ago (maybe things have changed since?) started out with a sushi app...

NOT SURE WHY 6/26/2003

I'm not sure why these last 2 postings seem to always have the time to put down this restaurant...do you have ANYTHING else to do with your time? I have been going to this restaurant since its opening, and have seen it grow and advance into a great place. The service is great, and the food is fabulous...if you have NOTHING better to do than to keep posting your BS, maybe just start dining somewhere else and quit being so rude?? Bungalow Rocks! 6/12/2003

This place is so cool! I went for the first time and it's got great atmosphere, not to mention the food. The food is really good! I couldn't believe how great for the cost. The Best Restaurant EVER! 6/12/2003

This place is awesome!! Yes, the bungalow seats are romantic and wonderous! I had the best experience here last night, the food was delicious and so reasonably priced! I'm so excited to have found this place, I will be back no question! I'm going to check out sunday brunch, it sounds so yummy!!! Thanks Bungalow for the funnest night! A Nice Surprise 6/12/2003

Some coworkers and I stopped into The Bungalow Club for lunch today after noticing the huge "2 for 1 lunch" sign today. Before today I didn't even know they were open for lunch. It was such a nice surprise to come across this place for not only a great lunch but a cheap one too! Our bill was so small and the food was so great, and plenty of it too! We didn't want to leave to go back to work, it was so lovely in the patio. They also have this great room inside that I will definatly have to request next time, it's moraccan style! I SO recommend this place to anyone passing by, we had such a great experience there and our server was so lovely too! We'll be back, Bungalow! Keep up that 2 for 1 lunch, it's perfection!!! Happy Hour 6/11/2003

I recommend this place. There is nowhere in L.A. where one can take advantage of a happy hour two dollar beer and enjoy the atmosphere. A Mother's Day to Remember 5/13/2003

For Mother's Day I was treated by my family to brunch and was invited to the bungalow club where we had a great family gathering. The atmosphere is perfect for families who want to eat out but want to have their privacy. It was as if we were in our own private restaurant. The service was great as well as the food. I recommend this restaurant to all those looking for a perfect family experience. Pros: unique, best patio, tasty more

I had a wedding party at the bungalow club.The food, the service and the drinks are excellent. The place is very unique and me and my guests would recommend it to anyone. Great breakfast 12/5/2002

I've had breakfast there twice. I love it. I order egg white omlette with salmon, avocado and tomato. They put a lot of salmon and avocado in it. It's fantastic. It comes with either fruit or potatoes. And it's only $9. I loved it. The pancakes are not the greatest, but they're OK. The coffee is good, too. Service is very friendly. I have had dinner at this place four times and each time is better than the first. I cannot believe the level of quality and the price is like from the 60's...are they back and can you really eat a steak and all the trimmings for such a low price and the service is great and the servers are easy on the eyes.....good job to the staff and owner...exactley what diners need in times such as these! Best Kept Secret on Melrose! 10/16/2002

Wow, this is the best kept secret on Melrose! This is the place in LA for great food, and a very pleasing atmosphere that is not over priced. The patio is incredibly charming and lively, with ample heaters to keep you warm. Try to get a seat in the covered booths! You can draw the blind for privacy, or leave it open to see all of the good looking people seated around you. "Hi Ho Silverware!" The New Hot Spot 10/13/2002

The food is amazing and sooo cheap I couldnt believe it. Servers were great and very easy on the eyes. The outdoor patio is one of the most romantic spots in LA - Bungalows to cozy up in, twinkling lights and waterfalls. Always "industry" folks having dinner or throwing parties. The bungalow club, situated near the end of Melrose, has a GREAT patio with quiet intimate bungalow booths. the lighting and atmosphere is awesome. The servers aren't bad to look at either! Ask for jen when you go, she was great.... Pros: Inexpensive, Great service more
