Air conditioner tune-up 4/25/2019

I was extremely pleased with the job Jeff did with the tune-up on our air conditioner. He was very professional and explained the whole process that was performed on it. I would recommend him and Hoekstra heating and air conditioning to anyone. more

jeff was great! He even got up on a ladder with his screwdriver and changed my furnace filter! then he suggested how to make a modification to my duct work to make changing the the filter much easier. Hallelujah! I love this guy! more

Salvador was professional from the beginning with his introduction and explanation of service to be provided. Placed runners from front door to entry to basement. He appeared to know what he was doing and willing to explain what service was needed and what he had done. Showed me the defective units and why they needed replacement. Completed service by leaving my house as it was prior to service. more

Jeff Hayley was our technician today. Arrived right on time. Fixed the furnace in short amount of time. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. Hoekstra HVAC has the best technicians and customer service. We've been with them over 20 years and would never go to anyone else. more

Hoekstra HVA -Salvadore 1/31/2019

My furnace died the night of the historic brutal polar vortex. Hoekstra sent a technician out in the horrible weather to temporarily start my 20 year old furnace. Early the next morning the vice-president Dave came to my home to review my options to purchase a furnace. I signed a contract and paid. The furnace could not be installed until the next day. Fearful that my old furnace would not last through the expected minus 25 degree night. Hoekstra sent another technician that afternoon with temporary replacement parts for the old furnace. The next day Salvadore installed my new furnace with the outdoor temperature not rising above minus 14 degrees. He brought with him two portable heaters to keep me warm while he disconnected the old furnace and installed the new one. Everyone at Hoekstra from Jackie on the phone to all of the technicians were top quality people, service oriented, polite, skilled communicators, skilled technicians. Great service 1/27/2019

Called Hoekstra recently when our furnace was not operating properly and the coldest, subzero weather was coming. Tim M. came out and did a thorough diagnosis, determined the problem and suggested a solution that required ordering a major part that was still covered by mfg.s guarantee. He was straightforward, informative and gave us the facts. The part came in and was delivered and installed the next day by Todd K. Todd arrived on time, worked neatly, efficiently and professionally. The job was completed in about 2.5 hours. Our home was once again warm and comfortable. It's important to say that Hoekstra didn't install the furnace, but they were there to help us when factory authorized service was needed. Thanks Hoekstra! more

Jeff was really helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. He explained the problem in easy to understand terms and reassured us that although he didn’t have the part we needed that it would be ordered promptly and installed ASAP next Day. He reassured us and answers all our questions. more

HVAC Technician John Hall 1/15/2019

John was part of a two man crew that installed the new furnace and air conditioner on 01/14/2019. We had been told earlier by two other members of the company how professional their installers were. I must say these two installers, in all the 69 years of my life, are the most kind, knowledgeable, hardworking, professional people you could have work in your house. We have had repair people over many years for TV's, stoves, washer/dryers, you name it but this company trains the best you could have do your work. In/out in less time than was stated when they started, work was top notch even to making sure every little detail was covered and patching all the blank spots on the ductwork where items were removed that was not used any longer. Very well trained installers and the company even has a supervisor stop out mid-installation to see how everything was going. WOW, great company and great people to work with. more

Furnace repair 1/8/2019

Waking up to a furnace not hearing, I called Hoekstra as soon as I knew someone would be in the office. Brenda listened to my concerns and immediately scheduled a technician to come to my home. Jeff H. arrived at the time agreed upon. He listened to my concerns and immediately set about fixing the problem. He explained what needed to be done and what was done when he was finished. He cleaned the work area and made sure the furnace was working properly before he left. He was patient and polite and very professional. more

Larry M was great, came out on sunday and taught me a thing or two on the care and maintenance of my furnace..Very happy with the service..Hoekstra is a great company had my furnace installed 3 yrs ago had no problems..even without my yearly check ups..I know now its best to have it done as instructed .. more

Larry came out on schedule and worked quickly. He was pleasant and honest. We thought the problem was major, but he saw the minor problem and cleaned the furnace. The house was warm in a short time. more
