YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!! My experience has been the worst I have ever had. I purchased a Certified Used X5 a year ago and since then I have broken down 2 times and had to take the car in a minimum of 10 times for broken or malfunctioning items. The list includes the fuel pump, water pump, radiator, gas cap & piping, entire rear fan system, headlight windshield wipers, passenger seat belt and the list goes on and on..... Needless to say I do not think this car should have been a certified vehicle and when I expressed my dissatisfaction there solution was to get me to purchase a brand new one for $400 more a month. Oh and they wouldn't even give me enough for my car to break even. BMW says that they are the ultimate driving machine and that they provide great service....I disagree....they didn't even give me a loaner car and I had to harass them to return my calls. I had a Honda for 6 years and only took it in for oil changes and now I have the ""ultimate driving machine"" and it's a LEMON. I recommend staying away for Hendricks BMW....they don't care!!!!! more

I visited your new car dealership. Jason immediately stopped what he was doing to assist me. I was there to merely look at the metallic sapphire black and compare it to the jet black, because I was interested in a pre-own at another dealership out of state. Jason was very patient with me, provided with the pros and cons of the color and reassured me that a BMW was a quality product! He shared with me what the difference was between a 2008 and 2010. Of course he talked with me about purchasing or leasing a new car. I was so impressed by him and wanted upper management to hear it from a potential client, what a great job he did. Very poor service 12/18/2011

I am giving 1 start but I would give zero if it were possible. I have found Hendrick BMW employees, particularly managers, to be arrogant and condescending. I have dealt with them on several occasions and come away disappointed and surprised (though the pattern is there enough that I should not be) at how poorly they treat their customer. BMW cars are great when they run correctly. Unfortunately, they do have more issues than Lexus and Infiniti and Porsche. And when you need warranty service you have no choice but to return to Hendrick BMW. My sales experiences with them have always been very poor and the support after the sale is virtually nonexistent. I wish that someone (maybe Felix?) would open another BMW store here in Charlotte. One thing I do not understand is how this particular dealership can vary so greatly in customer experience from the other high-end Hendrick dealerships. The others take very good care of the customer. BMW does not. Add in unpredictable reliability and it's a recipe for long-term disappointment. Stay away and save your peace of mind. more

I DONT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN..... 11/16/2011

I will say that my BMW is a beautiful car, but there is always something the matter with it. I agree with the previous post in that the service department needs improvement. I have been a loyal BMW client for over 5 years in Charlotte being that there is only 1 BMW location in the city. Every time I call to make an appointment it takes a few weeks to get me in. Then, they conveniently never have a loaner car for longer service appointments. Of course, after I wait hours at the dealership, I get slammed with a huge big. Usually, they find more problems with my car and never even resolve the issue of why I went in for the service in the first place. Lastly, I find out that your consultants make commission on your service bill No wonder they always want to add more services than what I can in for. I find it very sketchy that there is no flat rate for services and that you can negotiate them. more

Worst Service Dept Ever 9/5/2011

We own a 750il and a Jaguar, the BMW spends more time in Service then we drive it. Every time it breaks Hendrick makes it worse or does nothing.It averages about two weeks per break down and we are always told...:oh if we had fixed it right the first time it would have cost you more"" After the experience and the really losy customer service, as long as Hendrick has the monopoly on BMW service in Charlotte we will never buy one again or anything else that Hendrick monopolizes more

perfect customer expeiernce 6/24/2011

In the past, I have offered what I feel is constructive feed back as it related to my service experience so I felt I should also highlight the positive, most recent experience. Trip Tanner, in my opinion provided the perfect customer expeiernce from end to end. From when I pulled into the dealership to when I picked up my car the next day, Trip was professional, friendly, efficient, understanding and thourogh with explanation of service that would or might not be done. It was planely obvious when I pulled into the service bay that everyone was busy with current customers but Trip acknowledged me right away. He greeted me with a professional, friendly approach and was able to get my customer/ service information efficiently. Although Trip was busy I never felt rushed in anyway. He was able to answer most of my questions and the ones he could not, he said he would follow up with answers and he did. Trip called me that evening to give me an update and called me the next day to inform me my car was ready for pick up. When I picked up my car the next day Trip was available to explain the repairs and expalin what could not be covered under warranty. On the website I see an area that askes if you have a prefered advisor but I do not see a way to edit that information. I would like to request Trip as my prefered advisior going forward and if I can do so via the web, great. If not, I will be sure to ask when I make my appointment, I hope you will recognize Trip for his excellent customer service as he deserves it. So often, in the service business, people take more time to comment on the negative experience rather than a positive one. I will fill out the BMW servey I received but felt I should also send a personal email regarding my service experience with Trip. Thank you and have a great weekend, more

This being my first encounter from Hendrick BMW, I must say it far exceeded my expectations. During my visit I was assigned to Service Advisor, Mr. Rick Beal. I was greeted professionall and was made to feel very welcome at your facility. Mr. Beal took the time to explain in detail every aspect of what my car needed in order to maintain the excellent condition and performance and that vehicle has delivered since purchased. I appreciat Rick's attention to detail, knowledge of your product and un-yielding desire to place customer service the forefront of my visit. Please pass along my ""thanks"" to Rick and rassure him that my future BMW needs will be met by Hendrick because of this very positive first encounter. more

Dishonest and Untrustworthy 6/19/2011

Rip Off Artists! I own a 2005 Z4 which set off an Air bag warning light. Took it in and paid $100 for computer diagnosis. The Service Tech calls me and fumbles up a story of a failure of the seat belt pre-tensioner and to fix was $500 more. Skeptical that I have been lied to, I tell the tech I will call him back in an hour and I hit the net. After less that 10 minutes of searching, I learn more often that not it's a $15 wiring harness under the seat that fails because of poor design. Payed twice the fair market value of $15 to order the harness from Hendricks for $32 (BMW P/N 52108255704), 20 mins of work in my garage and it's fixed. Dishonest and Untrustworthy. When I called back the tech to discuss how he knows it is the $500 dollar part and not the $15 harness. He states ""BMW recommends replacement of the entire system"" In my opinion that is a cop out. Hendrick BMW is unable to make common sense diagnosis and implement a customer friendly solution in order to make an extra $470 to fix a part that is not broken and then pass the blame on to BMW. Nice Job Guys, Way to run your business like a shady used car lot! Paul more
