LEMON,LEMON, LEMON, LEMON!!!!!!!! I PURCHASE 2006 CONVERTIABLE 330CI SILVER GRAY 2 DOOR, TWO YEARS AGO (JUNE 2011) FROM HENDRICK BMW, IN CHARLOTTE NC. LET ME CHANGE THAT I BORUGHT A LEMON FROM HENERICK BMW OF CHARLOTTE. WHAT HAPPEN, LET ME PUT IT THIS WAY Item Affected: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING: COOLING SYSTEM: Date Announced: 5/20/2002 Description of Recall: ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE ENGINE AUXILIARY/COOLING FAN OPERATION, INCLUDING VARIABLE SPEED, IS ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED. FAILURE OF THE FAN MOTOR CAN CAUSE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITRY OF THE FAN CONTROL UNIT TO OVERLOAD AND FAIL, CAUSING THE FAN TO STOP OPERATING. Action Needed To Fix It: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FAN. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN SEPTEMBER 28, 2001. THIS IS A SUPPLEMENT TO A RECALL THAT BEGAN DURING SEPTEMBER 2001 (SEE RECALL CAMPAIGN 01V206). WOW!!!!!!! Do Yourself a Favor!! Buy your next car weather its new or used from Hendrick BMW!!!---It's an unbelievable experience!!! My wife and I are extremely happy with our new BWM we bought from Hendrick BMW Charlotte!! From the time we started communicating with the sales/management staff if was so obvious we were going to buy from Hendrick BMW! They treated my wife and I like we were part of their family!! Everybody was so nice and friendly to us throughout the whole process! Tom D. the sales manager's took time with us to make sure we were happy and thanked us for our purchase! The Finance guy Jason was such a pleasure to work with as well!!! Really made us feel at ease when doing paperwork and showing us some additional products that we could use--and yes we bought a few!! The Tire and Wheel Warranty is a MUST!! My wife have bought many cars over the years and have NEVER felt as great as we have from the start of the process of buying our New BMW from Hendrick!! Issue Resolved 4/20/2013

My issue with Hendrick BMW and the purchase of my 535i has been resolved. I would like to thank Rooz Rafie with Hendricks for doing a great job in taking my complaint seriously and looking into the situation. If you ever have an issue co tact Rooz and he will take care of it right away. more

Do not trust Hendricks BMW on Independence 4/2/2013

Worst car buying experience I have ever had. I felt like I was manipulated and deceived. I ended up paying close to $1,000 more on a down payment. They try to confuse you and make you think you are getting a deal. Then they canceled a check meant as a partial payment for my trade in. Make sure you get everything in writing and don't let them rush you into a deal or you will be sorry. more

The Stealership 6/20/2011

Rip Off Artists! I own a 2005 Z4 which set off an Air bag warning light. Took it in and paid $100 for computer diagnosis. The Service Tech calls me and fumbles up a story of a failure of the seat belt pre-tensioner and to fix was $500 more. Skeptical that I have been lied to, I tell the tech I will call him back in an hour and I hit the net. After less that 10 minutes of searching, I learn more often that not it's a $15 wiring harness under the seat that fails because of poor design. Payed twice the fair market value of $15 to order the harness from Hendricks for $32 (BMW P/N 52108255704), 20 mins of work in my garage and it's fixed. Dishonest and Untrustworthy. When I called back the tech to discuss how he knows it is the $500 dollar part and not the $15 harness. He states "BMW recommends replacement of the entire system" In my opinion that is a cop out. Hendrick BMW is unable to make common sense diagnosis and implement a customer friendly solution in order to make an extra $470 to fix a part that is not broken and then pass the blame on to BMW. I wanted to wirte you to offer my sincere appreciation for my Service Advisor, Jay Grieco. I have praised him previously, but he deserves another. I am a frequent customer because my car is aging and requires more service -- Jay always offers his usualy high level of performance in taking care of me. He makes sure that I know exactly what they will do to the car and the costs involved. He checks in with me frequently to keep me posted on the wait time involved. I leased a new 328i for my son today with Tim Nelson. I can't recall the number of cars I've bought since my '66 Mustang in 1970 - its been a lot. Today was by far the best experience I have had. Tim was outstanding in every way. Listened to our needs and delivered what we wanted at the price point I had shared with him. Fair and straighforward. Most of all he made my son feel engaged in the whole experience. It was a pleasure working with Tim from the first phone conversation through delivery I look forward to taking care of my own new car needs with Tim in the next few months. I don't think I have ever felt that way before - and that includes purchases of Mercedes, BMW, and topline suvs from Toyota. Thanks for the good experience more

This note is long overdue, but my recent experience at your dealership reminded me that I owe it you guys to point out how Jeff Bitner goes above and beyond on a regular basis and how good he is for Hendrick. I don’t have time to point out all the things he has done over the last 2+ years since I bought my car but I think it says enough that because of Jeff, I actually look forward to bringing my car in for service because he always goes out of his way help me pass the time and takes it as a sales opportunity to show me BMWs latest and greatest, even if my lease was 35 months out and sometimes knows I can’t afford what he’s showing me. He even showed me the Ghost you had a few months back. I think the carpet in that thing was softer than my mattress. Jeff exemplifies what BMW is all about and he takes pride in performing at a high level every single day. He doesn’t take days off and it shows. I view luxury car sales to be as much about a differentiated customer experience as mechanical performance. Jeff isn’t the reason I feel like safe driving my 335 twice the speed limit, but he is the reason I don’t look at Mercedes and if I buy another BMW when my lease is up in 9 months, Jeff will be a big reason why. Net-Net, Jeff treats people the right way and I doubt that enough people take the time to look your emails up online and let you know about it. Please make sure everyone in his reporting chain sees this email. I know for a fact (a fellow BMW customer and colleague at Cisco) that I’m not the only one that feels this way. Good selling. more
