I had my car towed there on a sunday morning, because I live in the neighborhood and there was no where else I could find open on a Sunday. What a HUGE MISTAKE, they said my starter (which they charged me $189.00 for, and after i researched I found out you could buy one for under $100.00 but they charge an extra $50 or $60 till you return the old starter, but not good old Don Glo, they were charging me $189.00 for the starter, even when I asked about the old one they return, I was told that the place where they buy parts from is expensive) was no good, which my husband just put in about a year before, the next day they say the ignition switch is no good and want to charge me $70.00 for a part that I got on my own for $32.00 and then they want to charge me additional labor at $85.00 an hour to put the part in. Then it's not that switch it is the steering column which they need to find the part and tell me I can return the switch, which I don't think is returnable. My husband called furious and talked to a manager and told him put our parts back in the car and we will take it some place else, which they robbed me for $150.00 for labor and a car that still was not running and I had to pay $80.00 to have my car towed somewhere else, where they told us the starter was fine and also the switch, just a piece on the ignition/steering column that was broken and we would need to get a steering column. The women who work there look up in the computer program for auto repair I guess and let's say if you have to put a starter in, it's says it takes an hour and a half, well they automatically charge you for an hour and a half labor at $85.00 an hour, even though it only takes about 15 mins to put a starter in. I have never in my life dealt with such CROOKS, they honestly rob you without a gun. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against them also. DON'T EVER take your car to DON GLO because honestly it is DON ROB. RUN FAR AWAY from this house of CROOKS!!!!!
