I would give them ZERO stars but I cant. Do NOT have your car fixed here. I dont care if you called AAA and they automatically towed it there. Kindly pay them for the tow if there was any balance due and walk around the area and find another place. DO NOT let these people TOUCH your car. It is worth the money to PAY someone to tow it to another shop. Ok so my boyfriend got his car towed there on a Friday night. The owner or the guy in charge, who is a complete A@& hole, told him the car needed a rack and pinion, OK we decided to get it fixed. My boyfriend picked the car up on Tuesday, which one thing in their favor was that the car was ready when they said it would be. Only problem, the car was SMOKING and had NO HORN. My boyfriend had to pull over to the side of the road to put antifreeze or the car would have overheated. Then the guy wants $250 to fix the horn. Calling around to other shops and to ford, I come to find out that the clock spring (the thing that makes the horn work) is frequently damaged during a wheel alignment. Which was done as part of the rack and pinion. So they cause damage to my car and want ME to pay for it. Now I think back to the smoking car and realize these shady folks (not the word I wanted to use...) intentionally drained all the anti freeze to cause further damage to my car...yep...these guys will do more damage to your car to try to keep you coming back. This is the OLDEST mechanics trick in the book...My brother in law is a mechanic and told me thats the trick of the trade. Wish he didnt live in Texas or HE would have fixed my car. BOTTOM line, Inwood is LINED with auto service shops. Find another one!!!!\r
