This company is horrible. They lie to your face and pretend to have all kinds of morals. They are the biggest crooks that I have ever came across. I was warned by many other not to go there and now I know why. Do yourself a favor and do business somewhere else! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 10/6/2012

I went to Crossroads Ford looking for a new 2013 Escape. They attempted to squeeze every $$$ out of me they could get. They pretended to agree to a sale and then come back with a counter option, after option, after option all along attempting to lower the price and what they would pay for the vehicle. They insulted me with a extremely low dollar trade in for my Camry which is in excellent shape. I wasted many hours at this place over three trips. I finally realized they were not sincere about making a decent sale on a new Ford Escape. The sales person in my opinion suggested that he was a Christian but yet he does not comply with Christian standards on how to treat a person. Do not let these people fool you! They are not who they pretend to be. They are wolves! They will use you in a heart beak. I am very disappointed in this dealership. Many years ago I bought a new ford vehicle from them but the attitude and atmosphere at the dealership has changed for the worse - much worse. Tom, the previous sales mangr and Larry Dugger have moved on. I was not hasseled by them but I was today! And so I am moving on but wanted the public to know about these jerks. RECOMMEND YOU CONSIDERING USING CAPITOL FORD OR LILLINGTON FORD! IF YOU GO TO CROSSROADS FORD and THEY GIVE YOU A HARD TIME CALL I RECOMMEND YOU CALL THE BOSE AT FORD MOTOR CORP! THAT IS WHAT I AM DOING! \r more

Great car buying experience 10/9/2011

Loved buying my car here. Sadly, my new car is now destroeyed due to a driver not paying attention. But as soon as I can walk again, I am buying my next car from Crossroads. \r \r No games, no wasting my time, they treat me like they truly care and they respected my time knowing I had to get home to my kids.\r \r The GM truly cares about the customer's experience. I didn't get to meet him in person, but the fowwlow ups I get tell me he truly cares! more

Terrible diagnisis! 4/24/2011

First, I want to say that I love my Ford F150. Unfortunately, It lost coolant on the way home from work and I had it towed to Crossroads Ford. They told me that the engine needed replacing and would cost around $4000. I could not afford that, so I had it towed to a local repair shop. Crossroads charged me $125 for the estimate. The local repair shop replaced the water hose for $30. It runs like a champ now. I called Crossroads Ford and even though they diagnosed the problem incorrectly, they would not reimburse (or even apologize!) any part of the $125. At best, they are incompetent and at worse and an argument could be made that they are dishonest. more

Wonderful experience! 3/12/2011

I started looking for a new / mostly new vehicle. I had a 2002 Jetta and read good things about the Fiesta. Larry Curtisford was the first to respond so despite several other responses from area dealerships, I responded back to Larry first. Glad I did! I let Larry know what I was looking for in my next car and he suggested looking at the Fiesta and the Fusion and had one of each ready for a test drive. When I got to Crossroads, I was pleasantly greeted by a couple of salesman who immediately summoned Larry when I indicated that my appt was with Larry. Larry spent nearly 4 hours with me as I weighed the trade-offs of the Fiesta (too small) and a Fusion, let the finance dept secure financing, and prepped my vehicle / made sure I understood the features and how to operate them. Given that my credit is decent, but not great, I was pleasantly surprised that their on site financing dept was able to help me get a loan with Ford with a good rate, good terms and an affordable monthly payment. Both Larry and the Financing Dept were no nonsense, pleasant and seemed to really want to make sure I had a good experience buying a car from them. I usually buy a used car coming off a 2 yr lease, but, with the trade-in, and incentives I was able to get a new 2011 Fusion with sunroof / Sirrius / parent controls for my teenage driver for about the same price as a 2009 used car. While I hope it will be a few years before I'm in the market again for a new car, I will definitely check Crossroads first! And, I would heartily recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used car! more

Broken Windshield 11/21/2010

My mom took her Ford Escape to this dealership for some mechanical repairs. I went back a few days later and paid for the repairs and sat in it to drive it out. I realized that the windshield was broken. I brought it to the attention of the mechanical staff and they swore that it was brought there like that. My mom and her brother-in-law said that they left it there without a broken windshield. I took the matter to all levels of management and they refused to take responsibility for it. They all tried to talk me down and they knew that someone in their chain was lying. In the end the best they could offer is to get their ""glass people"" to give me the discount that they would get. I had just spent $1500.00 with these people and the broken glass would now cost me an additional $200.00. This is a lousy company and Ford should drop them as a dealership. I would never walk back into this place with so many dishonest people. THE TOP MANAGERS STAND BY THEIR LIARS. more

Just Plain BAD! 7/15/2010

Here is the good: My wife and I decided to trade in our SUV and buy a used truck. We found one we liked on the website, called and talked with the ""website sales manager"" (he was very nice and educated) so we decided to go in and check it out in person. Now comes the bad: When we arrived we asked for Craig (website sales manager) but were down-graded to Patrick (pawn). Keep in mind I made an appointment with Craig. We went and looked at the truck, liked it, drove it, sat down to talk. DON'T BE TRICKED - THEY ARE JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER DEALERSHIP! We talked trade in price, truck price, bottom line, played the you write your price on the paper and I will go talk to my finance manager. He could not close the deal so he brought over his finance manager. We talked and he promised us 5.25%, wrote it down and we went home to think about it. This process started at 6 and concluded at 8:30 (well after closing). We decided we liked the vehicle enough to buy called the next day and set a meeting to sign the papers. Patrick told us we would be in and out in 45 mins. Got there and they had the car inside, we looked I asked if it was filled up with gas - Patrick said yes and made a joke about even filling a spare tank in the bed (stupid joke). We then sat down with another finance manager and they tried to raise our rate to 6.5%. 3 hours later we left with the vehicle and 1/4 tank of gas. Took 30 days to payoff our trade in loan, still have not received the license plate, loan is in the wrong name, Patrick lied, poor communication, lack of follow up. To sum it up we like the truck HATE the dealership. Will not buy from them again and would never recommend anyone to buy from them. Shady and trust me they will say anything to sell a vehicle so assume they are lying. Pros: I like my truck Cons: salesperson, finance staff, timeliness of process + more more

Rip Off 5/15/2010

I happened to be in the sales room when another buyer was trading in a car. I was interested in the car. The sales agent gave me an approximate price so I said I would wait. After waiting a while, the sales person came back with a much higher price. I told them I was preapproved at the credit union and wanted to know the final price of the car. I had a trade in. The sales agent refused to give me the final price. He tried to do the ""payment close"" on me. This way I would not know what the true cost of the vehicle was. I have been in sales for several years and trained with some of the best sales managers in the area!!! With this, I have prequalifed many people and ran numbers for payments!!! When the sales agent saw I wasn't buying his bull he then pulled out the ""Let me get my manager"" closing technique!!! This is a joke among people who have been in sales any time at all!! In fact, the joke is many, many times it isn't even a manager!!!!! Anyway, I walked out. Because I look younger than I am, they did not give me or my wife any respect!!! They have my number if they want a sale!!!! Pros: Had a vehicile I was interested in Cons: Did the old sales tricks!!! BEWARE!!!! more

Best Dealership in the Triangle 7/30/2009

We recently traded in our low mileage 2002 Toy. Highlander for a loaded 2007 E/B Expedition with CrossRoads Ford of Cary (CRFC). I can actually say it was a pleasant experience.\r \r I felt like I drove a hard bargain - they countered - and then we had a meeting of the minds. CRFC (and Bob Esau and Eric) are the kind of people you want to deal with when it comes time to upgrade your ride. No BS, just tell them what you need and you will get an honest deal.\r \r Bob even snailmailed me the service records for my new (to me) Ford Expedition!\r \r (As an aside - the first time I went to CRFC the VERY young female sales""person"" would't even let me drive the vehicle off the lot!) On our next visit Bob Esau said, ""Take it all afternoon"" ... I did, but we ended up buying another Expedition from him.\r \r In summary - CRFC should be your first and (ultimately) your last stop when buying a vehicle - new or used.\r \r Tell Bob Esau that Gary sent ya!\r \r Pros: Trustworthy, honest and dependable. more

Worst Service Department Ever 9/25/2006

We have had our 2002 Ford Explorer with 50,000 miles in the Service Department ever week for the past three weeks. We pickup the vehicle and the problems are not fixed. I swear they do trial and error diagnosis. Each time the same syptoms have a different solution at a cost.\r \r Avoid Fords. Avoid Crossroads Ford Service Department. Pros: Convenient Hours Cons: Horrible Service Team more

Evasive sales manager (Greg) in used cars 9/19/2006

I called reference a truck advertised in the newspaper and spoke with the used car/truck mgr. I asked him about a warranty on used vehicles and he said they did not give one, but I could purchase one. I told him that other dealers I have dealt with in the past normally offer a 30 day warranty on newer used vehicles. He stated they did not as they are such a high volume dealer. He was evasive on some of the other questions I asked. He kept saying, ""come on in and we can talk about it"". I found the same type vehicle I was inquiring about at another dealer for a cheaper price and a no cost 30 days warranty to got with it. more

DEALERSHIP IS A FRAUD!!! 11/27/2005

Took my Trailblazer in for one of their GREAT DEALS...What a joke!!! They offered me $4500 less than trade in value for my truck!! Then turned around and gave me their grand deal. Marked their vehicle up to sticker price then took the $5000 rebate off which the dealership keeps. You get a better deal going to another dealership and haggling a little..Plus will get a lot more for your trade...Went to a dealership in Graham and got a lot more for my trade and a better deal on the SUV...Don't buy into the TV hype...Their is a reason they can afford to advertise so much!!! Cons: Pushy Sales, Horrible Deals more

Trade-in Amount 7/12/2005

Overall would recommend dealership. Staff is friendly. Bought 2005 Expedition 12 days ago. Traded 2000 Expedition purchased new. Pleased with offer except for trade-in amount. Given $1800.00 LESS than Blue Book value for ""Fair"" trade-in. My trade-in was in excellent condition. Tires had 6000 miles. Told they could not ask more than $8000 for ""old"" model. Checked inventory of used cars. They have my Trade-in listed for $13,995. Ffeel they did not tell the truth. They want me to give them highest rating when I get review of thier service. Feel maybe I shouldn't give them all high marks because of deception. Trusted what they told me at time of purchase of new model. Feel I was told outright lie. Would recommend dealership but would not accept low offer for trade-in. Know what the ""Kelly Blue Book value is ""before"" you shop with this dealership. Pros: courteous, good parking, refreshments Cons: deceptive, trade-in too low, be truthful more

Omar's Rating 11/2/2002

I had a pretty pleasant experience while purchasing my new Mustang GT at Crossroads Ford. As most of you might expect the sales people are at times a bit too aggressive, but all in all I would reccommend this dealership to my friends. Once I found a sales person that I felt comfortable working with the process was very painless. more

Horrible service 5/27/2002

I have been to Crossroads Ford off and on in the past year and two months that I have owned my brand new Ford Focus and their service is horrible. This past week has been the worst. I have been there 3 times for the same problem. They claim they couldn't find anything wrong with it first and they are claiming that it is fixed now. My car has been towed 3 times in the past week. It is ridiculous. Their horrible service center is just a reflection of the work that their sales center does. If I knew this information before, I would have never bought my car from them and I would have never bought a ford! Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Horrible service more
