You guys know how to fix AC and furnaces but I just get the feeling that your 'guys' -- one of them is there for the express purpose, of picking a part or a condition and telling me I need it because it will fail soon, it has failed, etc.... I know and you know that you could pull any part short of a filter or a switch out of my unit, tell me it needs to be replaced and I could not dispute you. I don't think that is an honest practice and I won't be renewing my "Silver" or Bronze or whatever metallic membership level that I have. I'll find a local guy. And if he does not know what he is doing. Try again. I checked back. You have had to install over $1200 worth of replacement parts on a furnace that is about 3 years old. a) You over-charged for the parts --even with my supposed discount and b) I believe that if a TRANE unit had that many defects in the first three years, you would not see people buying them again. Why don't you go back to an honest business model. 1) A fair rate for the usual twice a year service. You can have other plans but just a simple one would be nice. 2) Don't try to up-sell me into a more expensive plan so I can get a bigger discount on my defective part(s). 3) Give me my parts back. I was told they needed to send them back to the manufacturer when I asked the last time you ripped me off. And I could not get part numbers or real sounding names of what the parts were. Come on. Regardless you asked for a review and there it is...you are not fooling most of us, you are just taking advantage of us. And you know it. Shame on you. more

Comfort Experts came out for a scheduled tune up. The work was performed with out issue as well as recommendations made. The only problem we had was scheduling the work time. The date had to be rescheduled three times for various reasons. Outside of this I was very satisfied and will continue to use Comfort Experts. more

The salesman that I dealt with with was untruthful and the company would not stand behind what he promised. The salesman no longer works there, and the company accepted no responsibility for his actions. I will not recommend the company to anyone else. However, every service representative that has come to my house has been professional, helpful, efficient. more

Biggest rip off ever! Totally take advantage of your customers, exceptionally poor customer service. You took our money and came out for annual maintenance and other than replacing the filter, never did one speck of maintenance to our heater. Will warn everyone about your lack of customer service, poor ethics and just plan lousy service. Aren't you glad you asked!! And dishonest to boot! Helps a lot, but not perfect 12/10/2011

This product is worth buying, but do not expect a 100 improvement in regulating body heat. I still have hot flashes, but only about a fourth as frequently as before I bought this pad. My sleep has improved tremendously. I am recommending it to friends. more

Hobson Comfort Experts is a real disappointment at this point 12/10/2011

After 20+ years with little attention, the TRANE heat pump that came with my house died. I contracted with Hobson Comfort Air to have a new heat pump installed in 2008. Here it is 2011 and I have no heating or A/C. The technician that came on the 21st told me the compressor needed replacing. He said someone would contact me when it came in to set up an appoinment to install it. Since I heard from noone, I called on 12/5 to discover there was no compressor on order. Supposedly the technician that came out on the 21st was to have removed the compressor. Supposedly he did that on this past Thursday, but I can't be sure because after he let me know he was finished, I heard him beside my house on the phone giving someone a number. Honestly, I don't know why the compressor needed to have been removed to be replaced. It's an AMANA, I am sure they are mass produced. My disappointments with this company actually began when I first used the A/C after installation to discover that they had dislodged the piping that allowed condensation to run out of the house thereby causing water seepage within the walls of my house. The technician's response to that was that they were only responsible up to the connection point. To prevent further damage to my walls, the condensation now drips into the bathtub. Another disappointment was the discovery when I called in for service that my service contract payment had not been submitted when the guy came to do the tuneup back in July. From July to November, I would think someone might have contacted me. Which brings to mind another disappointment, I was supposed to have had a fixed interest rate until it was paid off. Instead the rate was raised and my monthly payment was increased by $35. I paid the remaining balance in full to avoid further financial drain. more

Mixed plus and minus depends on who you get on phone or for service 11/23/2011

To start, the original salesman falsely portrayed the intent of the company guarantee. We purchased a more expensive systems because we were told we would receive service for no cost as long as we owned the house. Then the crew who installed the systems did poor work. The plus is that the company did their best to right the wrong. For over 2 years we received free service. There were at least 12 field visits to our home. At that point, even though the systems were not completely right, we agreed to start paying for the Silver Service. As problems continued we received service at only our monthly cost until 2011. After 3 years the final installation problems were found and now it appears that the system works as designed. The company remains to state that they will right all the problems but it really depended who arrived to service. Overall I am pleased with the system, but not sure if I would recommend Comfort Experts to others. I would have no idea what type of work they would receive. Yes, Comfort Experts will try to make it right but the inconvenience to the home owner may be more than they would want to experience. RESPONSE FROM Comfort Experts, Inc.: I apologize for any inconveniences caused to Mr. Glenn. We have spoken to Mr. Glenn and received the response this was from the original install. He had challenges with resolving the problems at hand. He did go on to say that we have resolved the concerns and is happy at this time. more

I have not had time to follow up on a recent service call. You sent a guy ouyt to my home last month to cover an exposed wire. the serviceman had no idea what he was out there for. two service call earlier, opne of your guy drilled a hole thru my attic to run a line down to the outside a/c unit. Your service man was suppose to cover that exposed wire. HE DID NOT. I'm still concern about that wire. more
