PLEASE READ ALL THESE REVIEWS,BEFORE ANYONE SHOPS FOR A CAR THERE. BUYER BEWARE! This dealership is a joke! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY HAVE NOT BEEN SHUT DOWN. THE GIRL IN FINANCE HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS DOING. IT'S BEEN MORE THAN 2 WEEKS AND SHE STILL CAN'T FIND ANYONE TO PICK UP THE LOAN... SO, I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT I'LL HAVE TO BRING BACK THE CAR. EVEN THOUGH, WE SIGNED ALL THE PAPERWORK ,AND HAVE A BANK THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO PICK UP THE LOAN, ON OUR PAPERWORK.... OH YEAH, HOW ABOUT THEY ALSO CHARGED ME $2000.00 MORE FOR THE CAR THAN AGREED. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO SELL ON INTERNET PRICE FOR $11,8. NOT $13,8.... OF COURSE, I HAD TO TAKE OFF WORK THE NEXT DAY ... GO IN TO HAVE THE PRICE CORRECTED....I COULD GO ON! Horrible just horrible 4/2/2009

I purchased a car from them and it turned out to be a piece of junk. The car died while I was still paying on it and I actually had to go to court with them over the warranty. They are just cruddy. I traded my old car in when I made the purchase. It was an older car in good condition. They stripped the car of most of its part and left it abandoned on the side of the road in Montgomery county. I found this out when I received a ticket in the mail from Montgomery County police fining me for stripping and abandoning my car on the side of the road. more

Buyer Beware 1/27/2009

I should have looked at these reviews before I went in there. I bought a new car there anyway. Though they had an unlimited power train warranty available at no extra charge the car itself was overpriced by at least $1,000. The finance manager at the time (who is no longer there) gave me incorrect information on the extended warranty regarding pricing and financing of the extended warranty. I was told that I could come in before I had 3,000 miles on my car and still purchase the warranty at 0% interest for 12-18 months. When I called about coming in, I was told that this was not the case. So now I have to pay cash or put it on my credit card.BUYER BEWARE. more

Awful Service 10/3/2008

At first it seemed like everything was going to be great. I found the car I had been looking fo0r online at an unbeatable price. The salesman did a great job and I wanted to purchase the car. All was well up to that point. I then waited another 2 hours before anyone from finance even came over to me. She got a little information and said it should only be five minutes. An hour later she comes back an assures me they are doing their best and should be done soon. An hour after that she finally says that we can go into her office and start filling out things. That process takes about an hour. I sign for a loan through them that is an ok deal and they say they will try and do better. I finally get a call about 2 weeks later with a deal that would have me paying more a month, but when I refuse that deal they tell me the other deal I signed for is no longer on the table, so either to come in and sign the new one or bring the car back. I then went through my bank and got a WAY better rate! Th more

The Service is Wonderful 8/16/2008

I don't know what it is, but whenever I go the College Park Hyundai for service it feels as though I am visiting old friends of mine. I feel at ease when dealing with William, Donald and Danny. Even Donald Smith in the parts department will walk out to your car and put your wipers on and offer you a bottle of spring water. They are very good guys and I would recomend them to anyone that has a car (Not Just a Hyundai)! more

BEST SERVICE TEAM 8/9/2008

I had a light on my dash and went to the dealer. I was greeted right away with a warm friendly smile. The rep was William. He got my car looked at quickly and got the cost covered under warranty. While I waited they even gave me a free bottle of water. I will always go back there and refer my friends there too. more

Service Dept is so-so... 6/24/2008

They certainly know Hyundais and have done several important warranty repairs for me, but I've almost never been completely satisfied. I've had to return for them to re-do or re-adjust something they did about half the time. It always takes 1 hour more than they say and their waiting room doesn't have cable TV or WiFi. Worse, they prefer to charge you if they can instead of using the warranty. I've had to argue with the service writers and had the actual techs on my side! But they do stick to their estimates, were fairly polite to me, and will drive you to the Metro station if asked. As long as it's under warranty, it's tough to argue with Free. Otherwise, I'd shop around elsewhere. more

Most Horrible Dealership EVER - do not go - do not call them - AVOID 5/5/2008

They are swindlers - they will lie to you - they will pressure you - they will harass you - do not give them any personal info - do not give them a phone number - do not go to the dealership - they are well known for their dirty tactics in this area and you will do yourself a favor to AVOID this dealership and ALL of the people that work there. They are mean, nasty people. more

Most Horrible Treatment Ever!!!! 7/17/2007

I purchased a top of the line vehicle from this dealership, upon leaving that evening I noticed some scratches and promptly return the vehicle the next day. I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect by a service department in my ENTIRE LIFE!!! The guy named Ely brushed me off with a wave of his hand, lit a cigarette and loudly told me he was not going to repair the scratches on a brand new vehicle I just purchased the day before and he does not care what I say. Needless to say my salesman Norman Hawkins was condescending to say the least.\r \r Once you're off their lot, they can care less about keeping you as a customer. I've left 4 messages with the general manager Al Zomchoviak (sp?) and he has yet to at least return one of my calls to find out what happened. I will never ever EVER even take my car there to have a nail in my tire removed or even THINK about referring ANYONE TO COLLEGE PARK HYUNDAI. \r \r Signed,\r \r DISGUSTED VERY DISPLEASED Hyundai Owner more

Reasonable service, long wait 3/8/2006

I took my Hyundai Tiburon in for transmission service, and it took about an hour longer than they told me. \r \r When I walked in the service folks seemed particularly busy and didn't really pay much attention to me until I started looking agitated. Fairly unprofessional behavior, but not unexpected for a small room packed with 5 people\r \r They were up front about the price, and this is the only place I could get the service I needed (other than one other dealer). \r \r My advice: if you need general non-warranty work on your car, try somewhere else, unless you have time to sit around and wait. more

This car dealership is one of a kind. My sales associate, Dori was very helpful. She picked me up from the Metro Station so I was able to buy a car. She helped me get through all the different ordeals with my credit. She was very helpful, as well as the other sales associates at College Park Hyundai. I have a great warranty and I own a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. This is a great dealership. more
