Christian Brothers Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

Although they installed my new unit and I have had a "silver" package for several years, this past year I became disenchanted. The pan in my attic unit leaked (stain the ceiling). They said twice nothing was wrong. The next visit I pointed out to them the ceiling was again stained after I had repainted it. This time they told me the installer had used a thin wire to hang the corner of the pan and to fix the leveling issue with the pan would require a new hanger strap (a couple feet of plumbers tape) and the cost would be $170.00. But because I was such a good customer and upset about the issue and the price they lowered it to $120.00. It took less than 5 min to fix and I'm sure not more than $1.00 in parts. Not great way to keep my $750.00 per year business. From the initial quote to the final install of the AC, the team was excellent. Once we decided to purchase the AC, Jon was at our house within the hour, and by the time we wrapped up the paperwork. The only reason I'm giving Christian Brothers (and especial Jon Temper, HVAC tech) a 5 star is because there isn't more stars available. Beyond impressed and satisfied with the level of service and concern Jon Temper, Christian Brothers displayed for our needs. We called Christian Brothers following a "routine service call" form another HVAC company that said our unit compressor was burning out and we needed a new unit ASAP and provided a cost for the new unit. I called Christian Brothers and another local HVAC company to request another quote on a new system,. Christian Brother's HVAC Tech, Jon Temper came to our home at answer the call. From the moment Jon met me at the door, he was extremely polite and respectful to my wife, me and our home. He asked if he could check our unit before he provided us with new unit pricing. He advised us that the compressor was well within the normal range and didn't think we needed to get a new unit. Jon, replaced a loose connector and thanked us for calling them and asked us to think of Christian Brothers next time we needed service. Clearly WE WILL and ask for Jon Temper. I hired Christian Brothers Plumbing, Air Conditioning, and Electrical to fix my toilet and it was a very bad experience. They replaced the flapper, in the back, and then charged me over $200 dollars. It was a very simple replacement of only one piece, and I was shocked that they charged me such an outrageous price. I would never use them again or ever recommend them to others. I requested a bid for jetting the house AND installing two customer supplied toilets. I have called twice to get the correct bid and have had no response. Service cost is extremely high for a simple job. I was given an estimate of $1200 for a job that i was able to get it fixed for $250. They also charged me $280 for a service fee that didn't take them more than 5minutes to trouble shoot the issue. more

Christian Brothers blew me off two days in a row and then couldn't come out for 5 more days. I have a service agreement with them and expect to be treated better. At least this wasn't an emergency. more

Christian Brothers wants a rating? OK. I have a leak from roof to kitchen ceiling....somewhere. Called Christian Brothers and they told me they'd check the A/C and attic. Five minutes on the roof and 5 minutes telling me he can't find the leak. Didn't bother checking the attic to be thorough, but charged me $69.95 for 10 minutes of his time. Said to make an appt with their plumber. I called, and was told by Amanda that the Plumber will be by around noonish or an hour or so around there. He called after 5PM. Then called again 10 minutes later leaving a message that I had 10 minutes to call or he was cancelling my service call. I wasn't home. He was supposed to be there at the most, 5 hours ago. Now no one has called me back to follow up and I get this in my email to rate them. Merry Christmas Christian Brothers. Enjoy my money. You way deserve it for a wonderful 10 minutes or so of your time telling me nothing I didn't already know and for Brian, the Plumber to be so charming. more
