Air Genie - Jesus 10/13/2013

Jesus took the time to be very informative regarding any problems and what could be done to improve the life of the air conditioning unit. He answered all questions - he worked diligently and explained everything he was doing as well as explained the various components - Excellent - 5 star employee and if I had a business I would hire him ASAP. Jesus was great. Fixed our A/C issues and was extremely helpful with the cost to us. Gave us all of our options and we never felt pressured. Didn't offer anything that was unnecessary. Wonderful customer service. I'd recommend Jesus and Air Genie to all my friends. more

Chad, the technician who came to our house did an amazing job. He took his time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. Not only would I recommend Air Genie to my friends and neighbors I would also recommend they ask for Chad. You should be proud to have such an upstanding young man as part of your team. more

Was respectful and efficient 9/30/2013

I especially liked how he respected my saying "no" to purchasing additional services. In the past, the techs always have given me a hard time and I was getting really tired of it. I thought that Chris was fine but I don't like the general company tactics that are taught to all of your techs. I would hate to work for a company that promotes the "hard sell" approach to customer service. My big question is why, when you purchase a brand new A/C unit, should it ever continue to need endless additional purchases. Surely this should all be offered and included at the time of purchase. I feel like I've practically purchased this unit twice! more

Dear Sue, The thing that customers love about us is often the thing that they dislike about us. We're super thorough! We constantly find things that other contractors don't because we don't rush our techs. When our techs find a problem or deficiency they treat it seriously. They see disasters every day that are a result of neglected machines. It's a catch 22! Customers have been upset when we were not firm enough and it resulted in irreversible damage to their air conditioner. Others say that we were too firm. As hard as we try, we're not perfect communicators so I can understand your feeling pressured. I'm sorry we made you feel that way. If our technician recommends something, please remember that he's only speaking what his eyes have seen. If he offers a product or solution to a problem, please remember that we did not create or manufacture that product. The market demanded it be manufactured for that problem. We simply find the right products for the problems our customers face, and inform them of how to fix and prevent these problems from causing them future discomfort. Brad was prompt. Came early in day so there was no waiting around the hoiuse. Very polite. Wore shoe covers when he came into the house, which I appreciate. Was honest about work needing done. Actually helpful, not pushy at all. I renewed my annual service and look forward do continue business with Air Genie. more

service call 9/24/2013

Nick arrived for a discounted service call. It did not take long after checking the inside and outside units that my equipment was in bad shape and in need of immediate replacement mostly due to safety issues. I was confident in Nicks knowledge and professional manner. I never thought I was being pushed or conned into getting something I did not need more

I am rating Brad, not Air Genie. Brad is a fine young man and presented himself as the Company wishes for him to be presented. For this he gets 5 stars. He suggested I spend several thousand dollars worth of upgrades after I have already spent $4K just 6 months prior to a 6 year old unit. After being in business over 35 years, I know a scam when I see one. It is obviously the job of the technician to recommend upgrades to the highest amount in order to get points or commissions for such efforts. It didn't take long to realize that this is obviously how this company works. It's a shame that these technicians are placed in this position to sell products above and beyond the norm at such high pressure measures. I do not wish to see any other technicians or representatives of this company, even though my maintenance agreement has not expired. I have seen and heard enough. more

Brad was extremely professional and thorough. He gave a very objective consultation regarding my air conditioning system, without resorting to high pressure sale tactics. I now am aware of what my air conditioning system requires, and repairs will be made on my timeline in accordance with my budget. Would recommend him highly. more

Jesus, our service specialist, did a great job. He solved our A/C problems, recommended better ways to run & maintain the unit and gave an education as well. I was worried about cost & was happy with his budget. He was open & above board & very professional. more

New System Install 8/29/2013

We purchaced this home back in October and the existing air conditioner was probably around 20 years old. I had already had been putting money into it since we got here. Without being pushy or assertive in any way, Jesus patiently showed me the interior of the system and everything that was either failing or about to (all of the components were soaked). So rather than continuing to throw good money after bad I decided to move on and proceed with getting a new system installed. So even though I'm Jewish I put my faith in Jesus. more
