I am still glowing with excitement from the experience that I had at Bridal Exclusives.The selection of plus size dresses is incredible. As a bride with many curves it was nice to pick out and try on many different styles. I had no idea what I was looking for, but with Patricia's help I was able to try on tons of dresses. Patricia pulled dress after dress allowing me to try them all on... one-by- one we eliminated the dresses until we found the perfect dress. She made me feel so comfortable while she helped me change in and out of each dress. I felt like I was the most important bride in the world. Patricia was so patient with me, allowing me to go through all the emotions that come with picking out and buying a wedding dress., and I did find my perfect wedding dress! Patricia, thanks for helping me find the dress that looked ""yummy"" on me, but also the dress that I felt ""yummy"" in!!! Pros: Amazing service and selection. more

Well when I was young I always thought about what my dress would look like when I got married...lol just a big white one! But then as I got older that big white dress needed that amazing sweethear neckline!!! And the dress just had to have this amazing flow....It sounds like I know what I want lol. But then I went in to Bridal Exclusives with a friend that actually works there, Becca. And im just in awe over all the dresses!! SOOO MANY!! Well I told Becca what I sorta wanted and she pulled out every dress in world that she thought I would like, I was having soo much fun till I realized that I actually had to choose one (Im bad about making up my mind!) So through picking and looking and trying on, It took a few good months and a few good different dresses lol till Becca made me try on this one that was EVERYTHING I have been wanting! OH and it had that amazing sweetheart neckline I just couldnt live without!! I was just sooo happy, happy I found the dress! But also so happy for all the help I got from Becca but from all the girls that work there. Even when it was busy in there they made it apoint to say hi, which was so nice. I honestley cant thank Becca enough for all the amazing help and time she put in to making sure I got what I really wanted. I finally got to try on my dress for a fitting and I started to cry bc I couldnt beleive how amazing I felt, like this dress was only made for me...So bottem line, yea you can go to davids bridal and get a knock off dress for maybe a lil cheaper and have one lady help you and five other girls at the same exact time OR! you can go to bridal exclusives where you only have one person with you the whole time just listening to you and what you want! I was shopping 2 years early for my dress, decided to go in, was talking to a manager who was extremely nice and decided to make an appointment. When we went in for my appointment, they were great! They let us choose whatever dress we wanted me to try on, no matter how many we had. Elisha was WONDERFUL!! I felt at the end of the 4.5 hours that I had not only found my dress, but my bridesmaids dresses, and made a friend! Becca was also extremely helpful with the bridesmaid dress colors! Both those girls made me feel incredible, didnt take offense that I didnt have the money to put down right away and didnt mind that I tried on over 20 dresses and same with my girls. They ALL made me feel 100 percent comfortable. Now after I left there, I was convinced to try another bridal salon, big mistake. They were horrible to me! So, I asked my friend to take me back to bridal exclusives to get my ""experience"" back. And they did, and as soon as I walked in the door, was greeted, everyone answered my questions, talked with me, and not once seemed annoyed with all my stupid endless questions. Thank you bridal exclusives, thank you Elisha, and I am proud to say I am getting my wedding gown, and all 10 bridesmaids dresses through you guys! Pros: everything was excellent Cons: none! more

I had a horrible experience with another bridal store that ended up closing and I ended up WITHOUT a dress. a few months away from my wedding and in tears, I turned to Bridal Exclusives where a lovely girl named Korie helped me. Not only did she comfort me, she went above and beyond to make sure I had an experience with her. She cheered me on the entire way and my family actually asked her if she used to be a cheerleader. My mother was so impressed by the store, she has refered the entire family to Korie. The process is so unique and fun. It's about you and we never felt as though we were being pressured. Korie kept was very direct, passionate, and compassionate. Talk about a nightmare gone dream wedding. The absolute best experience of my life. I can't wait to visit and share with the store pictures from my wedding day. Not only will I walk down the aisle in a dress, I will walk down knowing I was cared about and I love that. I went to several dress stores looking for my wedding dress before I finally took my friends advice and checked out Bridal Exclusives. Becca Dryer helped my friend find her perfect dress so I asked for her as well and I'm glad I did she was AMAZING!!! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! All of the girls working there were so attentive and helpful I felt like the world revolved around me. Becca Effectively helped me try on several different styles of dresses and helped me narrow it down to the perfect dress and then found me all the perfect accessories. All the other stores I had visited had snobby rude sales people that only cared about your money but at Bridal Exclusives they really care about making it the easiest, most fun experience possible! Becca has checked up with me and kept me informed every step of they way and has made this process so stress-free. I got my bridesmaids dresses from Bridal Exclusives as well because it is simply the best place around! Pros: Amazing dresses, well orginized, great customer service! Last August I got married in the wedding gown of my dreams. My favorite designer is Maggie Sottero, most of her gowns have a lace corset in the back making it the most elegant gorgeous feature of the entire dress. I went gown searching 5 months prior to my wedding date, needless to say I was short on time. When I came into Bridal Exclusives, right away I was approached and greeted by a very friendly and very much helpful Becca. I told her what I was looking for, gave her the name of the designer and explained what the dress looked like. She pulled out the very same dress I had seen on Maggie Sottero´s website. I immediatly fell in love with the dress and knew that this was the one I would get married in. The size was just a bit too big, but the alterations done by Finishing Touch were just perfect and in time for my wedding. The gown was cleaned and pressed, all of the bead work redone. I was very pleased with my whole experience at Bridal Exclusives. I ran into a problem, after having my mother and two of my best girlfriends try to lace me up, none of them did as good of a job as Becca. Because of my shopping experience Becca and I had become friends, and I had to ask for her help with my lace. She was very eager to help me, out of the kindness of her heart she came to my house the day of my wedding and laced me up. Since then, I have referred two of my girlfriends, which they also bought gowns from Bridal Exclusives with the help of Becca. I had an amazing experience at Bridal Exclusives in Clackamas. Becca helped me find the perfect dress! She went above and beyond my expectations. I have been in to try on my dress with shoes, etc. and she has helped me everytime. I truly appreciate all of the help from everyone at the store. I purchased my dress there back in January and I had been looking ALL over!!! I found my perfect dress, and their prices are lower than the rest of the bridal shops. Their process on how you pick your dress is amazing and I have never seen such personable people there. If you looking for a wedding dress I strongly advise you to go there!!!!! I also had experience with the Finishing Touch (their in-house alterations store) and they do such great work! I had them make my dress from a zipper to a lace-up and it looked just like the lace-up's in their store!!!! Pros: Best Customer Servece and dress selection Cons: NONE!!!! more

I pretty much went to every bridal shop in Portland and Bridal Exclusives was by far the most outstanding! My sales girl was so patient with me and spent so much time with me! They are much more educated than at other stores! She really took the time to educate me on everything, I felt like I had a bridal degree when I left. (if that is even a real thing) The service was the best anywhere! I was greeted so warmly when I came in and felt like a queen through the whole time! I love this shop, and everyone that I know that is getting married I will make them come here before they make a decision on anything! The quality of gowns were amazing, they had very unique dresses that look really good on me! I had 10 favorites at this shop and I had a total of 3 other favorites at other stores so that should tell you what an amazing selection they have! Pros: Everything!!! Cons: none!! more

My cousin is getting married in August, and I am a bridesmaid. Her wedding colors are turquoise blue and chocolate brown. Yeah, side by side. And in my case, both on the same dress. If we were paying tribute to the 60's and also sporting beehives, the color combo would be mildy acceptable. But I'm not feelin it as a bridesmaids dress. Aaaaaanyway. My point is that perhaps I was slightly biased about the whole thing in the first place, seeing as how I don't like the dress. But Bridal Exclusives/The Finishing Touch (where they conduct their alterations) has certainly NOT made the process any easier. \r \r The first time I went to pick up my dress, the conversation with the desk lady, who has since then become notoriously unfriendly, went a little something like this (last names have been changed):\r Me: Hi, I'm here to pick up my bridesmaids dress\r Her: What's the name of the bride?\r Me: Alyson Stevens\r Her: *typing on her computer* Mmmm....nope. She's not in here.\r Me: wellll.....we all bought our dresses here. My name is Sara Jones.\r Her: *typing* nope...you're not in here either. Are you the bride?\r Me: *sigh* No. I'm a bridesmaid. She's the bride. Her name is Alyson Stevens, my name is Sara Jones.\r Her: well, could you be in here under a different name?\r Me: Uh, no. That's my only name.\r Her: OHHHH....you're in here as Sara Stevens. You're in here under the wrong name. *looks at me sternly*\r Me: Um, sorry? \r \r Gee, silly me...I thought that whole customer database in the computer was THEIR responsibility, not mine!\r \r Anyhoo. There was a fitting, and instructions for alterations were made. I wanted two specific things done. This was over a month ago. When I came to pick it up last Thursday, the same lady was there. She informed me the straps they ordered were ripped, and she was in the process of ordering me new ones. When I looked at the dress, it was not how we had discussed the alterations. \r \r Me: I thought you guys were going to have the brown chiffon hang down in the back so it could be tied into a bow (again, brides' idea, not mine.)\r Her: Oh, yeah....we were supposed to do that.\r Me: So....are you going to?\r Her: Oh yeah, we will.\r \r So, there was absolutely no reason for me to drive all the way across town to pick up this dress. Especially considering gas prices these days, could they not have called me and let me know the dress wasn't ready and there was no need to have me come in? Pretty ridiculous and unthoughtful, if you ask me. And being in this business, you would think they'd want to be remembered fondly by the women they're helping, so when our wedding day comes, we'll think of them. Well, Bridal Exclusives can rest assured I will think of them when my special day comes....but I won't be coming back. Cons: I'd give them 0 stars if i could more

I originally ordered my dress from tres fabu. I came into Bridal Exclusives in tears explaining to them that I had ordered my dress over five months ago and their owner never ordered it. Long story short my wedding was in 3 months, I had no dress and a friend of mine said I should go check out bridal exclusives in clakamas because they were supposedly so great. I went in and was helped by their manager who was going to rush me a maggie sottero dress and it would be in 3 weeks before my wedding. I was skeptical because I'm very petite and I needed a lot of alterations. She said not to worry that she would arrange for a fitting the day the dress came in and I would have it in time for the wedding. Fast forward nine weeks, no calls, no dress. I was beginning to panic. I went in and spoke with her, i knew something was wrong because she kept whispering to one of the sales girls. She said their computers were down and she would call me a soon as they were up. I went home and waited 2 days, no calls. I went in once again and this time spoke with the owner, he said dress was ordered wrong color, they were working with the designer to fix it. I am not easily angered but I lost it! My mom called and spoke with the owner, my fiance called. Nobody would help us. SO the story ends tragically, my dress never came in, I had to settle for a davids bridal dress and my wedding day was suppose to be a dream and it turned into a nightmare. Please go to someplace you can really trust. everyone told me tres fabu was such a terrible place and that bridal exclusives would fix everything but really what it comes down to is both of the shops are run very poorly, very disorganized. You would think that working in the wedding industry, they would understand that for a lot of us, this is the most important day of our lives. but they really dont care. I came in here last weekend to look for a prom dress and was COMPLETELY ignored. I have never been to a place where i have been treated so badly. I asked the lady for a room and she went off to find me one. i stood and waited for fiftenn minutes only to see her come back and help two other girls who came in after me. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN more

I couldnt agree with soupset more. I had a very similar situation with the owner and he is so insensitive to brides and doesnt understand how stressful it is for us. when my veil came in a dark ivory when i had ordered it in light ivory, he said sorry, no returns credits or exchanges can be made. I am not the person behind the counter placing these orders so how why do i have to pay for their error??? let me tell all you girls out there that if the item isnt in your possesion, they have to refund you your money. it is required by law!!! that was the only way i was able to get my money back from them. they are money hungry and treat you so poorly after you have placed your order. yes, they have nice dresses but it is not worth the drama. there are plenty of other stores that will give you amazing customer service and understand what its like to be in your shoes!! Cons: they are a bunch of con artists!!!! more

If I could give Bridal Exclusives 0 starts I really would. When I first went to Bridal Exclusives I was so excited and Nicole, who helped me was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I found my dress and wanted it in diamond white...I recieved a call from someone that my dress didn't come in diamond white so I said let's do white...My wedding colors are BLACK AND WHITE! When I came in for my fitting my dress was DARK IVORY and my veil was diamond white. It was all wrong. The owner was there, which I warn you to stay away from...He was trying to convince me that the dress looked better on me than white would. I understand that I am fair, so in a way ivory does look better but that wasn't what I ordered, my wedding was based on black and white and everything I had bought was white...If I wanted an ivory dress I would have ordered ivory. The owner Steve, then proceeded to try to tell me that the diamond white veil would look really good....WHAT!! Are you kidding me? I asked what the probablility of getting a white dress and his response was ""Well, guess we'll have to wait til Monday huh?"" Are you serious? No faith at all so I said well lets go ahead I guess and move forward with the ivory dress but I will have to change EVERYTHING in my wedding from white to Ivory which costs more money. He has been an absolute NIGHTMARE His response is that I seemed happier with the ivory...ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Is that why I called my fiance bawling, because I was happy? No! My dream wedding was black and white and now it's not!!! We've been fighting with him every since because he refuses to reimburse me for their mistake...we saved him so much money by keeping that ivory dress that i didn't necessarily want...and when the manager called looking for a white dress she said she couldn't find one....Well, guess what? That isn't my fault, why should I pay more money for their mess up?? P.S. My new veil STILL isn't in and I ordered it over a month ago, rushed?? NO! 3/22/09 is my wedding date! 3 weeks away! Most of my friends have all gone to Bridal Exclusives and every single one of them that has gone to Bridal Exclusives had rave reviews! Finally it was my turn and of course I went to there too! Everyone there is very professional and nice! My sales girl listened to what I said and helped me find my dream dress! She spent so long with me and had so much patience! Even after she helped me find my dress she still spent time with me on finding accessories to go with my gown. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and she made it so much fun!! Bridal exclusives was not the only store I had been too either. I probably went to every store in Portland and nobody spent the time that Bridal Exclusives spent with me. A lot of places I had gone to before were rude and pushy. I thought Bridal Exclusives had the best dresses too! I didn't really find anything at any of the other stores (maybe a couple) but I had like 10 favorites at this shop! I""m glad that I listened to my friends that had all gone here, and I'm glad I chose to go there too. I kind of just waisted time at the other shops, If I had to do it over again I probably would have just gone here! I will highly recommend everyone to go here because everyone should deserve to feel as special as I did! Pros: Friendly staff, they have auesome dresses!!! more

I called 3 weeks before to schedule an appointment. I had family fly in from out of town and when we got there the lady in the front said we had our appointment scheduled for the following saturday and that i would have to wait. I had my sister next to me when we were scheduling the appointment and we both had it down in our schedule books for that saturday. they are so disorganized and rude. i've heard some pretty good things about this store but boy was i wrong. when it was finally our turn, our sales girl said that she didnt have chairs for my party because we didnt have an appointment. these girls do not listen to what you say. they're too much into doing their business their way to make a customer feel comfortable. my trip to bridal exclusives was a complete waist of time. I cant believe how much i talked this store up to my mom that she was convinced to fly in from Georgia to be a part of my dress shopping experience. i will never recommend this store to anyone. i felt incredibly let down. i got married in august of 2008 so this review is a little overdue but i have to say something. bridal exclusives RUINED my big day. when i came in i was helped by a really nice gal who helped me complete my entire look and thats where it ended. when i tried to call them to check on the status of my order, they always took my name and number promising to call back.. never got a call back. finally after calling them several times i decided to go in. this was 1 month before my wedding. when i came in to see if my things were in, the girl in front said, ""oh your things have been in since april, you sure no one called you?"" what the #%$@! my things have been there for two months and i never got a call? my wedding was in four weeks! despite my anger i scheduled a fitting to get a hem. Stupid stupid mistake... not only did i have to wait for an hour when i came in for my fitting but there was 10 brides crammed in one little fitting area. the man there that im guessing was the manager orowner said that it was because they had just moved to a different space. what does that have anything to do with them booking ten brides at once? to make matters worse, i came in three days before my wedding and the man sent me out the door without letting me try my dress on. when i got home, i saw my veil was missing. i came back (40 min drive) to let them know that i didnt have my veil. he looked on the computer and said that it was never ordered, but yet i paid 209 dollars for it. after calling around, he said that the style i picked was dicontinued amd stared at me like it was my fault. um, hello? how is it my job to know that? he said the best he could do was refund me my money. i was left scrambling around portland trying to look for a veil 3 days before my wedding. wait this gets better on my wedding day my lace hem completely unraveled. i had to crop the bottom of my dress in all my pictures. they wouldnt even refund me my hem fee after the wedding!... whoopdeedoo theyre sooo great Pros: are you kidding?? Cons: worst service ever, dont be fooled. they're only nice until they get your money more

I came in about a month ago and my wedding was in 3 weeks, I needed bridesmaids dresses asap! I had gone to many bridal salons in the area and nobody was willing to help me because I didn't have time to order. I had also shoped all over the mall to find dresses and I couldn't find anything! I live in Beaverton so it was a drive for me to go to Bridal Exclusives, but I remembered my co-worker telling me how great of an experience she had when she went there so I thought what the heck! When I came in I was warmly greeted right away, the girl that was helping me made me feel really comfortable. They didn't have what I needed on their store but the girl did some research and called around to all the designers to see if they had anything. It took her a while to figure out something for me but she found me 3 bridesmaids dresses in the same style and the same color and in the right sizes for my girls! I was so great full that she took the time to do that , she didn't have to do this for me, and if it wasn't for her I would have to have my girls in different colors and styles which I didn't want. She definitely went above and beyond what any other store would have done for me! I highly recommend this place even if you live far away it's worth the trip! I went to Bridal Exclusives to find my Dream Dress! I was very nervous about shopping for my dress, but right when I walked in I was treated so well. My consultant Helped me pick out different styles, so I knew what would look good on my body. They have all sizes too! I am a size 18 in bridal and they had TONS of dresses that were amazing on me, and actually fit to try on. My consultant was so helpful and patient with me, answering any questions that I had. I was able to look through the dresses and pick the ones that I wanted to try on, she even suggested some dresses for me. After trying on all of the different body styles I knew that I had found ""The One"". I was so happy, and they made me feel so special like a bride should feel. After I found my dress They went on to help me find all of the accessories that went perfectly with my dress. They have a huge selection, and AMAZING prices on everything in the store. When I left Bridal Exclusives I felt so relived because I had gotten so much taken care of. They were also very flexible with payments. I only had to put half down of my dress to order EVERYTHING! That is awesome! I had so much to pay for that it made it very easy to pay my dress and accessories off. The girls that work there LOVE what they do, and they are all highly knowledgeable on anything related to bridal. This shop is amazing and I would recommend them to any of my friends or family. It is a locally owned bridal boutique, with the best staff in town! I Bought Everything here. My dress, all of my accessories, and my bridesmaids dresses. I never had a problem.
