Bridal Exclusives

At first I was impressed with the service of Bridal Exclusives in clackamas. I had a pretty good experience picking out my wedding gown so I went back to get my bridesmaid dresses. The order had come in and they ordered a size too small for my maid of honor and the dress had manufacture defaults. So to make the dress work we had to do many alterations which would cost ALOT of money. I called bridal exclusives to speak with the manager and she proceeded to tell me that my maid of honor probably gained weight and they could not compensate me. I was absolutely shocked by the managers attitude and not wanting to make things ok with a customer. We went in and had the manager measure my maid of honor and found out that she did not change an inch. then the manager agreed that it was their fault and should have ordered a bigger size and the manufacturer messed up on the dress size. How did they compensate me? They said they wouldn't charge us for the extra alterations needed besides the basic let out and hem. Even though they ordered the wrong size, and the manager was completely rude, and the manufacturer made the dress with defaults. I would expect them to at least pay for ALL alterations and the balance on the dress. \r ALso they have poor communication with the alteration place. They told me I could do certain add ons to my dress and when i went to get the add on they alteration place said that it would not be possible. OVERALL: a horrible place and would not recommended it to any brides. Pros: intially its a good expriene..they will do anythigng for you to buy Cons: do not compensate for their own faults more

I was just married in May and all I have to say is that Bridal Exclusives saved the day. I had a horrible experience at another bridal shop, Tres Fabu, and the girls at Bridal Exclusives were more then helpful. They had the exact same dress for $300 cheaper and were so sweet. They even came and opened up early one morning so I could be fitted and still make it to work on time. Everyone was so sweet and tried to make me feel special for my big day and they did. Our experience in the store was great. We loved Nicole and my daughter found the absolute perfect dress. From then on it was a nightmare. The store owner, Steve, also owns Finishing touches, where they send you for any alterations. It is the most unorganized unprofessional place I have ever dealt with. The first time we went there, they could not find our dress, then realized they had the wrong name on it. Every time we went for try-ons, it was packed full of customers and very disorganized. Every time we left the dress there we felt like we had to ""watch"" them put our tag back on it. Any way, we picked up the dress 2 days before the wedding and all seemed well, until the reception when the lace scalloping they had sewn back on after hemming came off and fell apart into shreds. None of her wedding photos are of the full dress because of this horrible work these people had done. They did reimburse me for the 119.00 hemming fee, but the cant ever fix the horror of my daughters face when she realized her beautiful gown was in shreds. I would NEVER recommend this place. I worked with Amber at Bridal Exclusive on Sunnyside and she was fantastic. The first thing we did was pick one dress from the many sections they had because they want you to see how each dress fits your particular body. I am having a destination wedding and like most brides had this perfect idea of what I wanted. Well to say the least, I'm so glad I tried on some many different styles, I walked out with something completely different and I love it! Amber was so accommodating to my four year old niece who was playing around with all the dresses and bringing me accessories she found around the store. She even let her try on a dress. My suggestion to brides, call Bridal Exclusive and set up an appointment with Amber. When you get there, keep an open mind and you never know what you might find. On a side note, I paid the extra money to get my dress rushed in and it worked! I got the dress four weeks later! Thank you so much Amber! You were such a joy to work with. I bought my dream wedding dress here. I would have rather bought it elsewhere, because the sales lady drove me crazy. She didn't really care about my opinion, and wanted things to be the way she wanted. She even had me try on her wedding dress, and was like, "" isn't this dress beautiful? Doesn't it make you feel like you are in a fairytale??"" It popped my breasts out sooo much and so I was like, ""uhh this is way too much cleavage for me."" Afterwards she informed me that was the dress she would be wearing, and I felt a little bad. Like another store, she tried to make me order a size larger. I was a size 4 in everything but my hips which were half an inch over. The dress poofs out after the waist, so my hips could really be 6 inches larger, and it would still fit. I stuck to my guns this time and insisted that she order the dress in the size that I was currently at, and since I fit into the size four sample. She made a big hissy fit about ordering it in that size and said she was making notes into her computer to cover her tracks. After we paid for the dress to be ordered, she got all sickening sweet and started talking about how she will do all the work for my bridesmaid dresses, because bridesmaids are awful and she could just deal with them to save me the hassle. I smiled fakely right back at her and told her I would definitely come back in... haha yeah right. I am just waiting to see how my dress fits, I can't wait to prove her wrong. I had had a horrible experience at David's, and was trying to be optimistic about finding a dress. I was ready have a dress custom made, wanting a dress with support, not the strapless ones that are in style right now. I had seen an Alfred Angelo dress in a mag that I liked and wanted to try on, and found Bridal Exclusives online. I stopped in to see if there was one in my size and they offered to let me try it on right then. I was working, so I made an appointment to come back with my mom and bridesmaid. They have a huge selection of plus sized dresses. The Alfred Angelo one didn't look great on me, but the 4th one I tried brought tears to all of our eyes. Amber, our consultant, was very helpful, listened well to my needs, had great suggestions and was very knowledgeable in suiting my body type, alterations, options. She cried, too, when she saw the dress on me. It is such a relief to have found the dress. I was willing to pay twice the cost to have a flattering dress, but was thrilled to have found 'the one' at Bridal Exclusives. They didn't allow us to take pictures until I had chosen, then my mom snapped away, and I have those photos to show to my hair dresser, plan my make up, match the tux to, etc. \r I would recommend this shop to any bride. You deserve to be treated with respect, don't settle for the Walmart of dress shops! Go to Bridal Exclusives! Pros: Experienced consultants, great plus sized options, not chaotic or pushy. My wedding was over a year ago and I still have a bitter taste in my mouth after visiting Bridal Exclusives in Clackamas. I found the perfect gown...too bad the under-professional, overly arrogant bridal consultant that helped me was grossly incompetent! She took my measurements, then ordered my gown. I was concerned when she told me what size we would need to order, but she assured me that was normal to go up in size because of ""Bridal Sizing."" But like I suspected when the gown came in it was 4 sizes too big....and no, there was no change in my weight, like she insinuated. I later found out she ordered the gown too big, because it put me into th women's sizing, more expensive sizing....this way she made more commission....Classy, Right? My gown also came in too short, at 5'2'' inches I am amazed why anything would be too short, especially since I told her I was wearing flats. \r \r No exchange was offered, and I was stuck paying over $300 to have my huge gown altered! Needless to say the work was too extensive, and my gown was ruined. 1 week before my wedding I was forced to visit another salon in my area and buy a gown off the floor. It wasn't my dream dress, but it fit, it wasn't too short, and it didn't cost me hundreds of dollars to alter, on top of the thousand dollars Bridal Exclusives charge me for the gown.\r \r Run for the hills, this place is full of con artists and people who don't care about your big day....all the want is your money. Save yourself time, and money....go elsewhere. Don't get your heart broken, and your wallet emptied by these fools! Pros: We're there any? I don't think so! I went to another bridal shop and fell in love with this gown but I was kind of out of my price range, so I went to Bridal Exclusives becuase my cousin bought her dress there and she highly recommended it. I saw the same gown for $300 less at Bridal Exclsuives than at the other bridal shop. I asked why such a difference in price and the girl that was helping me said that they price there gowns the lowest that the designers will allow, and some shops will price them more that what the designer prices them at. I'm so glad that I went to Bridal Exclusives because if I hadn't I would'nt have been able to afford my dream dress!! The customer service was fabulous also, I felt very catered too, all the girls were so professional and my girl that was helping me was very educated on the gowns. She even took the time to find me my veil, tiara, shoes and necklace! Pros: prices, customer service, professional, very catering more

I have a really small budget for my wedding so I thought there was no way I could afford a designer gown, \r I though I was going to have to settle for a David's dress. As soon as I entered Bridal Exclusives I was blown away by the gorgeous dresses! The detail work and quality was so much better, I was afraid to look\r at the price of the gowns but when I looked, they were about the same price if not less expensive then at David's! I was so so glad that I went to this store, I almost didn't, and I almost settled for a medeocre dress and paid more for it. I walked out with the most beautiful designer gown I had ever seen and it was in my budget!! My consultant was so knowlegablel and sweet and she spent so much time with me. I have been to a lot of bridal salons and no place even compares to Bridal Exclusives. My bridal consultant taught me so much about what looks good on me, she knew so much about the dresses and designers. She was very thourough with me and even stayed 2 hours after they closed to help me. She was so sweet, I loved her!! UPDATE: I have now been married for three years, and though I had a wonderful experience in the store, I deeply regret having used their alteration service. The alteration lady was cold and non-communicative. And the worst part is, she didn't listen to my concerns that the dress did not fit properly after it had been altered. She argued that my undergarments would ""fill me out"" and that the dress was best just skimming my body instead of being form-fitting (the way the dress was originally designed). I was shy and trusted that she was the professional so I complied and did not have the dress further fitted. Now, whenever I look at pictures I get a little sad. The dress was clearly too big in the bust and hips and was not as flattering as it could have been. Long story short, girls, the shop is lovely and has lovely dresses, but DON'T USE THEIR ALTERATION SERVICE unless you are prepared to fight for what you want. And, if you're shy like I was, buck up and make sure whoever alters your dress does it exactly how you like it, or you will regret it later. .............. I'd been wedding dress shopping all day, trying on so many dresses they all started to look the same! I was tired and almost cancelled my appointment, but I'm so glad I didn't. Amber was so personable and fun. (The other girls were too). She listened to me and understood exactly what I wanted. I'd been pining after dresses by Melissa Sweet and Claire Pettibone, but could never afford them! I wanted a stylish, vintage-y, lace sheath. Not too romantic or princessy or tableclothy. Every dress she pulled was beautiful, unique and reasonably priced for the quality and attention to detail. I ended up buying the very first one she chose and I love it! I also bought a very reasonably priced long veil and a great necklace that matched my ring and pearl earings perfectly. Even though I could tell she wanted to sell me the whole package (dress, shoes, underthings, accessories, bridesmaids, etc), she was sympathetic to my budget and not too pushy. Although the dress I did buy was a couple hundred more than what I'd been hoping to spend, it did not compare to anything else I'd tried on. It was so worth it. There's no doubt in my mind that I'll still love it when my June wedding rolls around! Pros: Great service, fun girls, wonderful dresses, layaway! Bridal Exclusives was the first salon I visited, but they didn't treat me like that. Amber(the girl that helped me) treated me as if I was going to buy my gown there. She asked me what I liked and then helped me pick out six or seven dresses that incorporated my tastes and helped explore things I hadn't tried yet. She helped me figure out exactly what I was looking for and none of the bridal salons I have been to since have been able to compare. The price of the dress I like is very reasonable and fits in my teeny budget. Great Place! I defenitely reccommend Bridal Exclusives! The ladies there were very helpful and I was surprised at how many great deals they had! I got a beautiful affordable dress they had at the store, which beats having to wait 8 weeks for it somewhere else. The girl helping me was great, she showed me what I wanted, and even did my hair to make it fun! If you cant find what you want, or dont have time to wait 6-8 weeks for your dress, I defenitely would reccommend Bridal Exclusives! I just wish I could have taken a picture of the dress. I work in the bridal fashion industry. I liked the selection offered and the prices were decent but let me tell you, you can go to any shop and find the same gowns for the same or less price and much nicer attendants. The first girl I got was great, the second didnt know who I was and couldnt have cared less that I was potentially spending A LOT of money. I had no budget and they wouldnt lift a finger to help me although Im too short to reach the gown rack. Its a great place if you know what you want and how to fit yourself, dont let them double talk you or put you in a dress you feel less than beautiful in. Oh yeah... and the fitting rooms werent even big enough to have assistance getting dressed in, how would I lace up a corset back? When my fieance and I went in the gal did greet us but then shortly they got cold. The gang up on you and try to tell you something that they like and want you to have. We felt that they had there noses in the air and didnt want to hear what you eanted but what they wanted you to have. They were very snotty. I would NOT recomend them to my friends. There just not that kind. This store needs kinder and softer people. Looking for the perfect dress is hard enough. I just thought people should know. This shop was much nicer than I had expected. A decent selection of gowns. They had a lot of Maggie Sottero gowns. I would recommend this shop. The only con is that you can't take pictures. Pros: Good Parking, Clean Shop, Good Selection Cons: No Cameras more

Ok I am young i admit that.. but this store treated my best friend, who is getting married soon the worst time... basically saying that she is about 10 sizes bigger than she really is and giving her the cold sholder because we are young....
