I consider myself a pretty hands on home owner, but I don't touch plumbing. In the wake of the hurricane, I lost power for a day, but my water didn't come back on like it usually does. They came out to my house at the end of what must have been a grueling long day to fix my well pump on the day I called them for help. They were both knowledgeable and polite, and were able to explain the problem in terms I could understand while fixing it. I would not hesitate to call these guys again in an emergency or otherwise. more

Ed replaced a water heater damaged after a recent storm. Literally, after calling, Ed was at my home in 30 minutes - diagnosed and began installation. Impressive and competent. more

Always a great experience. I have used your service I guess 3 times, all have been positive. I will say though, that to a certain extent I feel you take advantage of people in the emergency situation. I don't mind paying for the service, but when you charge $250 to take a toilet off and put it back on with a new seal, that is an unfair amount. That is probably the easiest and fastest thing to do. If I had known I would have put the toilet back on myself. $150 would have been fair. I hate feeling like I have been taken advantage of! I was not able to use any water from any part of my house without flooding out my down stairs bathroom. Ed was able to get me back up and running within a couple of hours. more

We were without hot water at our kitchen sink. I called Monday morning and Jerry was there by Monday afternoon. The problem was promptly fixed. We decided to have some additional plumbing work done (replacement valves, new outside water outlets) so we joined the Ben Franklin society and saved on all the work. I felt quite comfortable with Ed's initial assessment and I feel 'plumbing safe' now.. On the inspection visit, Ed heard my concerns and assured me that he would take care of them... He did. I did not feel the necessity to 'oversee'; I felt comfortable that the work would be done properly. It was. Ben Franklin responded immediately to my call at 6:00 AM. I had a service plumber out to my house by 8:00 AM. The service call resulted in replacement of my upstairs toilet with a new Gerber toilet. Ed Waterfall, the service plumber pulled out my old toilet while waiting delivery of the new one, and 2 hours later, the job was complete, and everything was clean and neat. I would definitely ask for Ed again, next time I need service. more

We found that out hot water heater was starting to leak, and went to Lowe's to buy and new one and try to save some money. What a MISTAKE! Lowe's, did send out someone to install the new water heater the very next day as they said they would, but when the installer arrived at our home he said that he could not take out the old heater and put the new one in as he needed another person with him that he did not have. After making a call to Lowe's to try and get this rectified with no luck, we called Ben Franklin Pluming, which we should have called in the first place as we have used them for many other jobs, and always had a good experience. Well, When Ed W. came out and saw that it was going to be a two man job he immediately called his office to get some help. When the second guy arrived they got right down to removing the old water heater and installing the new one. Yes, it was more involved than we originally thought, but it was done quickly and efficiently. It was also considerably more expensive than the Lowe's Bargain installation, but when you see how it is done correctly by a professional you don't for bargains again. Thank you Ed for taking great care of our hot water dilemma. more

After having the contract for a year we had the free house inspection. Brian was really great. So glad he was there when he was-turned out that our sump pump had just quit and we didn't know it. He replaced it and went on to check the rest of the house and found a leaking outside faucet that I didn't know was leaking. He was great-explained everything and very patient with my questions. more
