I provided a review by telephone. 1/27/2015

I have told the telephone scheduler that a 7 or 8 foot step ladder is needed to access the heater in the attic. The last technician did not have a step ladder and rather than him bring in a 20 ft extension ladder, I let him use my 7 foot step ladder. This note needs to be on my file so a proper ladder is carried by the technician. more

Very good 1/18/2015

Alaskan came out to do my twice a year heating/ac check. Serviceman was friendly, curteous and efficient. Had a long wait time between calling to schedule appointment and actual appointment, but I was not having a problem, just a routine checkup. I had more problems with this survey than with Alaskan. more

Every year a different teck comes out and every year he tells me about something that should have been done in the past. Every year I hear about all the experience they have and yet they all seem to go elsewhere. It seem to me your company has trouble keeping employees. One other thing , they always want to sell me product and/ or services that I feel should have been sold at the time I purchased your system. If I didn't need it, or you didn't think it would be of benefit at the time you sold me, then why do I need it know? more

Recent service has been really been good... 1/16/2015

I have been with Alaskan Home Services for about 10 or 12 years. We used to have a maintenance agreement with them which was fine, but I felt every time they came they found something that I had to buy. More recently we had our whole unit replaced, but that was a good experience. They were fast and very courteous, and explained everything to us. They covered any concerns we had! more

I was very satisfied with the overall service I received from Alaskan. They are the first company that performed as promised and actually called me to adhere to my service schedule. Their technicians are polite and professional. You can't go wrong!!! more

2 Rheem Units Installed in My Home 12/28/2014

About 45 days ago we installed 2 Rheem units in our home. I just want to say that from sales through installation the experience was outstanding. Scott the salesman was great to work with. After the install I noticed a slight noise in the blower assembly. Sam their service tech came out and took care of the issue promptly. He ws verry professional. Their office staff follow through was excellent. I could go on but no need. This is the company you are looking for. more

I always feel at ease after my heating/AC has been inspected by the Alaskan Home Services techs. They do such a thorough job, and can be counted on to point out any areas that need updating/repair. more

The company submitted a competitive bid which was not the lowest. The Home Depot affiliation was the deciding factor. Alaskan fulfilled all commitments, with occasional prodding.. Excellent workmanship by the lead installer, Mike Ballard. The company liaison, Patrick Higgens, was most helpful and supportive. However, his recommendation of a particular handyman to enlarge a closet (to accommodate a new air handler) was a bomb. I am most dissatisfied that individual's finished product and his demeanor. This is not a reflection on Alaskan. The two newly installed units are currently functioning in a satisfactory fashion. more
