Alaskan Home Services is not reasonably priced. My coil fan burned out. Took about 30 seconds to diagnose and with a 20% discount for having a Preventative Maintenance Agreement, Alaskan Home Services wanted to charge me $679.00. I asked for an explanation on high cost for a 1/4 HP electric motor and I was told they had to pay for insurance, vehicles, payroll, etc. Wholesale cost for the motor they wanted me to purchase for $679.00 is $159.00. $550.00 profit is gouging a customer for a 1/2 hour job.
