THE TECH (WILLIAM) WAS VERY POLITE AND WE FEEL DONE AN OUTSTANDING JOB. HE WAS UNABLE TO GET THE PARTS DUE TO THE WEEK-END, SO HE PUT HIS SKILLS TO WORK AND OUR UNIT LASTED TILL MONDAY MORNING WHEN OUR UNIT WAS REPAIRED. more

Alaskan Home Services is not reasonably priced. My coil fan burned out. Took about 30 seconds to diagnose and with a 20% discount for having a Preventative Maintenance Agreement, Alaskan Home Services wanted to charge me $679.00. I asked for an explanation on high cost for a 1/4 HP electric motor and I was told they had to pay for insurance, vehicles, payroll, etc. Wholesale cost for the motor they wanted me to purchase for $679.00 is $159.00. $550.00 profit is gouging a customer for a 1/2 hour job. more

Top Notch Service as Always 8/17/2013

Alaskan continues to offer competitively priced service, parts and labor. All technicians are courteous, helpful and patient in explaining all details on your unit's current state, recommended service and parts/repair recommendations. I have never had to wait more than a day for expedient service especially when my unit broke down during the intense heat of summer (which happened twice to me). more

Pressured to buy something 8/3/2013

The service was ok, but the technician forgot a piece of equipment & we were left with only 1 AC. Poor planning. I also felt pressured to buy something I did NOT need. They've done this before. I hate it since I'm not an AC tech, I don't trust what they say half the time. RESPONSE FROM Alaskan Home Services: maria thanks for your review. We had service from Steve at our home. What a PRO, prompt professional, no mumbo-jumbo, simple explanation of what caused the problem and how he would fix it. Then he did! Alaskan installed this unit in 1997 (Trane 1200). 3 service calls in 15 yrs. Hat's off to Steve and Alaskan! more

These guys are 100% trustworthy and their work is impeccable. I have had service contracts for 5 years at least and they have always paid off. There has never been a time when they have tried to sell me a service I did not need and they have always been very responsive and quick to fix my problems. more

Had alaskan home services out to my house for repair on my Ac unit and they were great! They came at 11pm at night and gozed the problem within a hour. Will be recommending them to my friends more
