I was pleased 12/7/2014

There was still some water in places and they missed a spot or two in swooshing the water back up from the carpet, but all in all I was satisfied. The men you sent out were extremely personable and polite. more

EXCELLENT 12/4/2014

Improvement are Evident 11/24/2014

A short while ago I would not have recommended Alaskan due to poor management and service delivery. I recently gave them a second chance since they have new management and technicians, I have to say that there is a noticeable difference. They were punctual, professional and willing to help me rectify the issues from the previous visit. The new manager, Gary, is doing a great job reaching out and making things right, really appreciate that. I'm a big supporter of local businesses so I will continue supporting these guys, as long as good services and management continue. more

Could not ask for better service 11/21/2014

Alaskan Home Services maintains my air-conditioning and furnace system, and they also do plumbing services for me. They come when I call, and they know what they are doing. They are efficient--- here and gone. I could not ask for better service. more

Overall, it's been a wonderful experience 11/13/2014

I've had a ten year contract with Alaskan Home Services and I've been through four different repair persons. Each one of them has been extremely qualified and I've been very pleased. For the heater and A/C, they've sold me surge protectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Other than that, they've just come in, did the tests, and were on their way. I did have trouble with one of the units once before and they repaired it, economically, and I was very pleased. Overall, its been a wonderful experience and it's my plan to continue using them once my contract runs out. more

A dependable company. 11/7/2014

Alaskan Home Services installed a couple of heat pumps on my house. I have a year contract with them and they come twice a year. The come when they say they will, and they do what they tell you they are going to do. more

Alaskan Home Services has done a bunch of work for us over the years. They've installed a new air conditioner, fixed it when it's not working, sealed the ducts, and their plumbing division put in a new water heater. We've continued to use them for quite a few years because they seem dependable. more

Good customer service. 10/21/2014

Alaskan Home Services provides great customer service. A part went out in our air conditioner so it stopped working. We decided to call Alaskan Home Services at a quarter to five one night, and by the next morning they had sent Steve over to fix it. It was great to have someone over so quickly to get the job done. We've carried the warranty for our inspection, and anytime we make a call they return it in good time. I'd highly recommend them. more

We're always taken care of! 10/17/2014

The last time they were here they replaced a compressor in my air conditioner (it's working great). They took care of the problem very efficiently, even though we had to wait 24 hours for the equipment and it was a 2-man job. They were efficient, they were there on time, all of the above. I've been using Alaskan Home Services for 10 years. They just always come through, and they're prompt, and we're always taken care of! more

Kind of frustrating. 10/15/2014

I hired Alaskan Home Services to install an A/C unit about three years ago. They have been servicing it ever since. They have good costumer service and good communication. They always send a man out when we call them. We have been having some issues with the A/C unit leaking freon about once a year. They take care of it but they can't seem to find the problem of why it is leaking freon. They are a bit dismissive of my concerns that it is leaking gallons of freon. I am kind of frustrated with the A/C unit at this point. more

I hired Alaskan Home Services because I had several issues with the A/C several years ago and they offered a plan where they could come out twice a year for regular service and I'm okay with it most of the time. They always try to up sell me and that's to be expected so, generally speaking, I think they're alright for what they do. I think they're expensive and they're not better than anyone else. Last time I had someone over, he tried to suggest a service to me and he said that if I stayed in this house for five more years without this service done, I was fool and I thought that was rude. more

Over 4 years of good service 10/9/2014

We've been using them for 4 or 5 years, and every time I've asked them for something they've gotten it. There were one or two incidences when one person said one thing and the other person came out and did it a little differently, but nothing off-the-wall bad. If somebody asked for a recommendation, I'd certainly say that we use Alaskan and that we're happy. They've given us no reason to jump ship elsewhere. more

Unfortunately my AC went out; and because it was so hot -it was very uncomfortable in my home. I called Alaskan and they responded immediately. They took the time to listen to my concerns, and sent out a technician the very next day. The Technician William arrived at the time promised; and was very professional! He fixed my problem, and let me know if the company could ever be of assistance to, to be sure to let them know. I would recommend your company to anyone who needs AC repair, and will be sure to use their services again. Job well done. Susie more
