Heather Grant assured me that although my Lavish Lash extensions may not last 6-8 weeks, as advertised on the website, they should last at least two weeks before a touch-up was needed. However, less than 6 days later, my extensions fell off to the point that I was left with four lashes on my right lid and seven on my left. At this point, I was in Chicago, IL, ready to depart for a trip. I distinctly recall that during the application process, Ms. Grant repeatedly made comments that she was having a difficult time that day and that her hands were unsteady; it is my opinion that these lashes were applied incorrectly. I called Villagio and it was suggested by a receptionist that I remove the rest of the lashes before departing on my trip, since it was not possible for me to return for reapplication. After returning from my trip, I called Villagio several times and was first told by a manager that I would be refunded the entire $250 for lash application. I was later told that I would be refunded $125 by Barbara Brillhart: she explained that she could not in good conscious refund the amount of Ms. Grant's salary; she could only refund me for the materials. I told her I would prefer to speak directly to Ms. Grant before the refund amount would be decided conclusively. However, I was repeatedly told that she was not available and after leaving three messages, my calls were never returned. I called Villagio again and asked to speak again with Barbara Brillhart; I was asked to leave a message on her voicemail, and I told her that after several unsuccessful attempts at reaching Ms. Grant, I would settle for the $125 refund. I left my contact information and asked her to call me if there were any other questions to be resolved. After two months, a credit has not been posted to my account, and I have not been contacted by Villagio Day Spa regarding this matter.
