Woodhouse Day Spa

This place has potential, but is not interested in creating regular clientele. I tried this place twice. Both appointments had me sitting over 20 minutes in their lounge before appointment was to begin. On my 2nd appointment, I walked down the hall in my bathrobe and saw the manager chatting and laughing with my person. She told me she would be ""a minute"" so I sat back down. I asked the therapist what was going on when I was alone with her and she told me the manager was showing her pictures of a trip?? Heavy drilling going on next door during massage. I called owner twice with no call back and finally wrote a letter complaining. She called me back apologizing and said manager hadn't been on a vacation in 3 years and was showing pictures. She didn't intend to be mean. ""She's a good Christian girl"" ????? Had 9:30 appointment but did not get out until after 12!! Not on my time! No concessions offered. Not even a return appointment offered at a discount. Had booked 1.5 hour massage. If you don't go back, they don't care. Pros: Nice setup Cons: If you aren't happy, they don't care. more

I live 2 hours away and decided to drive because my area doesnt offer what i consider suitable salons. Amanda was nice and did a great job on my hair. She also took an ample amount of time to book me and didn't seemed rushed to get through to her next client which is getting difficult to find in a hairdresser. Needless to say, I will be making the drive again. Thanks Amanda!!!! more

I never write on these things but my girlfriend talked me into it after bragging about my experience at Villaggio. I used to get massages every week in Colorado and since moving here I have struggled to find a therapist who really seems to know the body and be able to work problem spots well. I had a massage with Anne that was one of the best experiences I have ever had. She was knowledgable, personable and without killing me tended to every knot I had. I called her hands magic hands to my girlfriend who laughed but seriously that is the best way I can describe it. I definitely will be seeing her quite a bit and if anyone out there is strugging to find a great therapist, give Anne a try. I have already referred three people. The front desk was also extremely nice. So many places here seem to treat you like a number and the guy at the front desk took such pride in the place and walked me through like I was a special guest. I felt like a queen the whole time. Thank you! Oh and thank you to the girl who makes the brownies...Anne said I should try one and I did...I snuck two more when she wasn't looking. I received a gift card from my husband to this spa. It was the BEST EVER! It's quiet, calm, peaceful, tranquil - however you'd describe a slice of heaven!!! I had the BEST massages, the BEST facials, the BEST pedicures ever! It's a good thing I have other obligations or I'd be there EVERY DAY! Pros: TOTALLY RELAXED WHEN FINISHED Cons: It's not next door to me is about the only con I can think of more

I usually do not post on these sites but I commonly use them to check up on places I want to go. I just felt the need to talk about a very positive experience I had at Villaggio Day Spa. My husband had purchased me a giftcard for Valentines Day and I finally was given the opportunity to use it. First, I had a massage with Anne which was amazing. She had a great attitude and was very skilled. I then had a pedicure and a manicure Cheryl which I must say her personality is as delightful as the service! The staff even let me spend over an hour in the relaxation room after my services?.usually at places like this your rushed out the door as soon as your done?but not here. Everyone was so pleasant from the moment I walked in until I walked out. I hope I can talk my husband into getting me a another giftcard for Christmas. If you're reading these reviews you will see that i have left a review before. I normally don't comment on these things but i really think Villaggio deserves to be recognized for the great service they provide everytime i go there. I recently visited the ZIONSVILLE location again and recieved a few treatments... One was a facial with Connie, one was a deep tissue massage with Tiffany, and one was a manicure/pedicure with Linda. I LOVED the massage, the deep tissue helps me feel healthy and it was just the right amount of pressure! My facial was VERY relaxing and when i walked back into the locker room i couldn't help but think about how great my skin looked already! My manicure pedicure was also enjoyable. I'm really happy because Linda really cared about the health of my nails and gave me some pointers and tips on how to properly take care of my nails when i cant make it in to see her!!! Lastly, the front desk was very friendly and perky as always. They make me feel very welcome and pampered! Thanks Villaggio for all you do! Pros: a great getaway! Cons: want to go more! more

I have been to many spas around the Indianapolis area and Villaggio is definitely the best. I had a spa package to use and spent about half of my day there. I cannot emphasize how well the staff treated me. The facial, massage, manicure, pedicure...it was all great! Nichole did an awesome job. My skin has never felt better. I also want to give a special thank you to Emily for giving me such an incredible massage. She is an expert at relaxation massages. I used to be a music teacher so it was easy for me to notice that her massage seemed lyrical in the way that her techniques flowed together perfectly with the music. I did not have a hard time relaxing at all. It was very peaceful and I had such an amazing time, so thank you! I will definitely be back. more

I spent a whole day at the Villagio in Fishers with a spa package I received as a gift, and LOVED every minute of it! Facial, massage, nails, the works. I walked out feeling like a pampered princess and can't wait to do it again. Everyone was wonderful with a special thank you to (Mandy) my facialist, she has an amazing touch and my skin felt great! I completely admit - Villaggio is very pretty...the designers really put thought and consideration into making the place a very relaxing atmosphere. Is it the best in Indy? I don't really think so - the staff seems young and from what I understand there is a high turnover rate; and I hate to say it, but sometimes I think I can give myself just as good of a mani/pedi at another nail place for $20 less or even at home for free. I think it is more than a bit unusual that they ask clients to rate them on this site (I think only Villaggio and Lush have more than 100 online ratings and almost 1/4 of them seem ""not so good""), and after reading some of the previous reviews (even going back to 2006), I tend to think this is a business move to vie for certain awards? I also agree with a previous poster in that some of the reviews posted seem very manufactured and their post dates are sometimes a bit too coincidental. Do I think that Villaggio rates similarly to spas in CA and NY? No. Is it a good spa, convenient and close to home with decent prices? Yes. The best spas I have been to bend over backwards for their clients, divulge them, yet retain a ""homestyle flair"" that makes clients feel comfortable and truly at ease. I found Villaggio here at this site so I decided to return the favor. Whoever wrote that Anne was one of the best massages ever..THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! She was wonderful and mended an area of my back that has been sore for years. No one has even been able to do that. She also worked in a way that relaxed me at the same time. It was a perfect balance. I also had my nails done by Cheryl who was a doll. She was flawless in detail as well as with her personality. The gentleman who greeted me gave me a tour before my services ever began. He got me so excited to be there and the place was beautiful throughout in comparison to many others in town. I have been going to Villaggio for a few years now and can never wait to go back. The atmosphere is gorgeous and there are many 5 star service providers (aesthetics - Heather, Nichole; nails- Karrie, Nikki, Cheryl; massage - Kathleen). Prior to Villaggio, I went to Escape. I was more than excited to find out that Nichole is now at Villaggio. She is hands down the BEST and my favorite overall provider. Pros: Great services! Cons: No soft drinks!! more

They have added a wonderful new Massage Therapist, Emily, who is out of this world! I have never had such a great massage. She really listened to what was bothering me--so many times, a therapist asks what the problem areas are, then proceeds to ignore them and give the same massage they give every time...not Emily, she listened and HEARD me!! I am so pleased that she has joined a spa that I already love, I have no reason to go anywhere else for anything else!! She is AMAZING!! I travel for work so when I can find time to relax and unwind from traveling I do so! I am always trying to find local treasure spots and I am so happy I found one so close to home! I live in Fishers and my skin has been a mess with the weather being SO cold. Ive been to Colorado for work three times in the past month so I guess I cant blame all my dryness on Indiana :) I was actually home last weekend and thought I?d try to get in for a facial at Villaggio. I recently visited Villaggio Day Spa at the start of the year! I thought that I would treat myself in honor of the New Year and I definitely received a treat. Everything was wonderful, very much like a spa found at a resort. It was very professional as soon as you walked in the front door. I was greeted by a very kind staff and the young lady at the front desk immediately made me feel welcome. My massage therapist, Matt was very good. He was very informative and left me leaving the spa feeling great. On my first visit to Villaggio I left wanting more and more. I can not wait to go back and try out their many other services that they offer. I want to congratulate the owner on having such a wonderful staff. She has obviously put a lot of time into choosing her employees. The professionalism from the front desk through out my services was wonderful. Congratulations on such a wonderful staff! When reading the review below I had to ask myself are you sure you met Rebecca? I am a former employee as well and a frequent Villaggio client and I was shocked to see that someone wrote something negative about Rebecca the spa director. As well as a very qualified esthetician and spa director, Rebecca is nothing but considerate and compassionate to all of Villaggio?s guest and employees. I am sure that there was a misunderstanding between the two of you and I have a feeling if she knew you felt this way would do everything in her power to fix it.
