I admit that I was skeptical about a medical service that claimed it would provide high quality healthcare at your home or office, but that changed after my first call for services. I placed a call to White Glove and they came to my office within an hour. I received the same attention I would have received at my doctor's office, including a prescription for meds. I paid the same co-pay and got comparable care, but without the hassle. It also meant I didn't put off seeing someone, because I couldn't get away from work. This is a return to care people probably received years and years ago when doctor's made house calls -- what a concept! I will definitely use them again and I am truly grateful that I have this great option. They also bring you this really super bag of goodies that's really needed if you're not up to getting out. more

I have used the white glove service three times and I’ve been singing their praises since then. It always costs me LESS to have them come to me (when you factor that my co-pay and prescriptions always total more than 30 dollars!). They SAVED MY LIFE during a migraine episode in which I wasn’t able to see clearly and had no one to take me to the ER if that was my only option – I would have had to call an ambulance (imagine the bill on that trip). \r \r It has definitely saved me a lot of money and time. I have used WhiteGlove several times now and absolutely LOVE them. Why spend an hour waiting in your doctor's office exposed to germs when you can be seen at your own office or home for the same co-pay? Each visit has been very easy to schedule and very little waiting. This is the best medical program I have ever had experience with! more

My entire family belongs to Whiteglove Housecall Health and we love them! They have been to see us about 4 or 5 times, and each time, it has been SO easy to make an appt., then they arrive when they say they will! The NP is always friendly and professional and the best part is that the antiobiotic is always brought to us so I don't have to load the kids up in the car and drop it off and wait so long for it. No more waiting in a doctors office for an hour for them to see us and then waiting in the pharmacy lines! And, we love getting the well-stocked care bag they leave us with. My kids don't mind the doctors anymore because they know they come with this great gift bag. This place is no joke, in 30 minutes they can be in and out, but thorough AND you have the medication in hand and a nice parting gift. We are very lucky to live in Austin where they have such a cool business! more

We've used Whiteglove twice and both times they've saved the day. Last month I called them to my office with a nagging sinus infection. The NP arrived early, checked me out quickly, then literally put his hand in his pocket and pulled out the medication I needed. Easy and done. I really don't know how Whiteglove manages to stay in business providing such an excellent service at such a reasonable cost. When I told me relatives outside Austin how I got better, they were amazed that this kind of thing even exists anymore. more

We have used White Glove several times and LOVE them! They come to your house or office at a time that is convenient for you. We've called them for allergies, upper respiratory infection, vertigo, and a cold. It is so awesome to NOT have to drive to a doctor's office and NOT have to wait in the waiting room with all of the other sick people (possibly catching their germs in addition to whatever ailment I have). Our insurance covers the membership fee, so it only costs us our normal $20 co-pay. They bring you a ""goody bag"" full of stuff at every visit - soup, crackers, Gatorade, Tylenol, Advil, cough drops, ginger ale, etc. They also have prescription medications to leave with you, plus they will leave you with a written prescription if you need additional medication. When you don't feel good, it's so nice to be able to stay home and get medical care/foods/meds brought to you. We will never go to a normal doctor's office again for minor medical care. Everyone needs to try White Glove at least once! more

I was very impressed to see the nurse practitioner using a computer system to help her manage her medical data and patients. I also love the idea of having the prescriptions on hand and the quick diagnosing of illnesses/ infections when there is no time to wait for an opening at another health clinic or with another provider. I have been through multiple health care clinics since the great doc I had retired. It seems like clinics these days are more concerned about getting you in and out in a 10 minute window once you finish waiting to be seen for 45 min. Whiteglove showed up right on schedule at my home and I was being seen within a minute of her arrival. She was professional, attentive, and I didn't feel rushed. She addressed my immediate health issue and answered other questions I had. How awesome is this? They can see me 12 hrs day when it's convenient to me. Why would I go any place else. ................I wrote what is above two days ago. Yesterday they followed up with a phone call asking how I am. My initial problem was a horrible cough which has caused me to be so sore I can barely move. I wasn't getting better and told them that and they told me to wait another 24 hrs which I thought was fair. Another 24 hrs went by (actually nearly 36) and I called them because I was coughing so much I had thrown up multiple times. A couple hours later they called me back. The person on the other end of the line seemed like she was in another conversation and I had to ask her several times if she was there. After a disjointed conversation where I felt like she was more involved in something on the other end of the line she told me she would call me something in if I would look up the information for the pharmacy I requested for her because she is not in Austin and has no way to look up the pharmacy I requested. I will be going to another doctor tomorrow in hopes I can get my needs met. Pros: Good hours, good initial care, no waiting room. Cons: Horrible!! follow-up. If there is any chance you may need follow-up don't come here. P.S. What I wrote above regarding the follow-up person who called me from Houston was very measured. It doesn't begin to describe how much I felt like she wasn't listening to me or how angry I was that I had to ask her several times if she was there. more

My son and I have both had the privilege to use this great service. I personally have used WhiteGlove House Call Health on 2 separate occasions, both being visits to my office. I setup my appointment online the night before and both appointments were scheduled for the next day. The physician's assistant/practioner arrived on time and had a wealth of knowledge for my ailment. She took her time to explain everything to me, as well as, explain the follow-up procedure. I was so amazed that I did not even have to go to the pharmacy to get my prescriptions, as she had them with her. I was even given their care package at each visit. What an assortment of items (had I been sick at home and unable to drive) that I would have needed. I am so glad that I live in an area where WhiteGlove House Call Health can be of assistance to me! I love using WhiteGlove. I've had them come to both my office and my appartment. Saves so much time and those days were you feel so awful and just dont want to get out of bed and drive over to the doctors...you don't have to! Everyone that has seen me so far has been extreamly nice and prompt! Again, I love this service!! Wish they were all over the country (I move and travel a lot) !! more

This service is really great. I'm constantly putting off going to the doctor for myself because it's such a hassle to either take my two kids or find a babysitter. Now that I've found WhiteGlove I can have them come to me instead! The people were prompt and courteous as well which is quite different from most medical experiences! more

My son was really sick one day. I called the urgent care clinic we were using to find out they now billed at emergency room rates ($100) instead of the office visit rates. Besides this, I would have to wait in the waiting room until he could be seen thus exposing him to other sick people and having to take him out into the elements. I then looked at the refrigerator and saw the magnet I had about WhiteGlove so I decided to call. The process was quick and easy. The lady who took the information advised that the Nurse Practitioner would be at the house in 30 min. (it took 5 min.). From the time I answered the door until the time he left, I received professional, courteous service. I was allowed to ask questions without feeling rushed. Everything was explained to me in terms that I could understand. I received medication and a prescription to help my son feel better. I did not have to leave the house or expose him to the elements or wait in a waiting room with other sick people. more

I was feeling not so stellar one day and I called in. At my place of employment you need a note if you miss work so i called whiteglove since i didnt feel like moving. It was easy to set up and get things going. The only problem i had was that I am 3 miles out of Travis county in Bastrop County. I still set the appt for 8 AM at my office the next day and the NP was very nice and gave me all the medications needed as well as a goody bag that came in handy for my allergy flair up. I will use whiteglove again, i just wish they were in Bastrop County as well. more

I had been thinking about WhiteGlove for some time and wondering if it was a service that my family could use. Then one night while we were eating out my son complained that his cough had gotten worse and worse so I used this opportunity to try them out since I knew my doctors office was closed. I called WhiteGlove from the restaurant and found out that I was a little to late to make an appointment that night (it was almost 8 pm) but the kind lady on the phone helped me register my son and set an appointment for 1st thing in the morning. The nurse arrived on time and quickly made us feel like we made the right decision to call. My son received excellent care, medication on the spot to begin the healing process, and advice about next steps (if necessary). My son felt very special when the nurse left a bag of goodies to help in on his recovery (it was backed with great things like a can of soup, jello, cough drops, and more..). Pros: No waiting room, on time appointment, friendly staff Cons: ummmmmmmm...can't think of one more

I had a terrible sore throat and called WhiteGlove. I had registered online so setting up an appointment was easy. The nurse came out right on time and was able to do a strep test at my house while the baby napped. It was great not to have to get the baby dressed and awake to drag her to the doctor's office where she would have been exposed to an entire waiting room full of germs. We stayed home and I got excellent care and a goodie bag full of lots of things to make me feel better. \r \r I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone and have told several people at work as well as family members to look into this service.
