I had been sick for over two weeks and could not shake the runny nose, sneezing, cough or sore throat. I had been traveling for work and really did not have time to waste trying to fit a doctors? limited appointment availability. I also did not feel like wasting tons of money on prescriptions or waiting inside one of the stores with a clinic. At first I was concerned that the first time I used White Glove I would need to pay a huge fee instead of just my co pay. When I called they were very helpful and took the time to walk through my insurance coverage.
They were able to see me the same day, despite it being on a Friday and living all the way out in Austin Colony. The nurse showed up promptly and was very nice despite the fact that she was wearing all black and my house is covered in beagle hair ? Just like everyone states The Nurse Practitioner got right to work and confirmed that I was developing a sinus infection. She was prepared with antibiotics, pills to control the cough, two types of nasal sprays and the Wellness Kit. Even thought I read about all the things that came in the kit I was so happy to find -soup and crackers, cough drops, JELLO, applesauce, Gatorade, tissues, ginger ale (yummy), Motrin and Tylenol. .
For once I did not feel cheated after going to the doctors? office. I had leaving feeling like they did not spend enough time with me for the co pay, then I have to run off to the pharmacy to spend another hefty fee for medicines and any other necessities for my road to recovery. White Glove really is worth it and I appreciate having the option. My coworkers have raved as well about onsite office visits.
Just like many others I have become the annoying person recommending this to everyone I know.
