My fiance and I ate at Virgilio's last night. We have been there a handful of times in the past year, because it was close to where we lived. Last night, the customer service was the worst I ever had at any restaurant. We walked in the door and it was busy. However, there were 2 empty tables. One table could fit 4 people, and one was slightly bigger. We were the only people waiting to be seated - NO ONE WAS BEHIND US. We were told that we couldn't sit at either of the tables and would have to sit at the bar or wait for a table for 2 to open up. We chose the bar. The waitress moved the owner's laptop from the seat that she wanted me to sit it... even though there were other seats at the bar. So, I sat in the seat she told me to sit in, and realized that I was directly next to the cash register. I couldn't even move my arm without bumping into her when she was at the register. And what was worse is that the orders that the cooks were handing her over the counter had to be delivered to her right over my shoulder. I felt like I was in the way, and was very uncomfortable. Then, the owner came over and saw how she moved his laptop, and started yelling at her. She was on one side of me, and the owner was next to my fiance. So they were arguing over us. I felt totally stressed out. Then, our food arrived. Almost $26 for 2 chicken parm sandwiches, and they barely had any chicken in them. The chicken was very thinly sliced. It felt like I basically ate a bun that was loaded with sauce. As I ate, I watched a party of 3 sit at one of the tables we wanted. They only ordered a pizza. I'm sure our bill was a lot more, yet we weren't even given a table. From the moment we walked in, I felt like they were so busy that having us even walk in was an annoyance to them. I'll never go back. I have never felt like this in a restaurant before -- like I was an inconvenience to them when I was giving them my business.
Pros: Not sure
Cons: Customer Service, Food
