I agree....the owner is an absolute idiot!!!! He doesn't give the students the time of day. And is always in a bad mood.....he needs to remember it is the students who are paying ...

Signing up for the Bootcamp was a gig deal for me, a big investment. After I did it, I got nervous, wondering if I did the right thing. But after the first day of class I knew I made the correct choice. It's just a great place with the best people. Worth every penny. more

Did the entire program from Boot Camp one through the advanced class and the showcase. Got a agent out of it too! Very thankful to the folks at the Acting Corps, which is why I am writing this review, to hopefully send more business their way. It's also good for you as I am letting you in on the secret of how awesome they are, but I don't know you. I hope you appreciate it. And are wise enough to go there, you will not regret it. Meisner based, five-days-a-week, different teachers on different days (for different classes. All good. more

Under one roof 6/24/2018

Love the diversity of classes, scene study, Meisner, voice and movement, on camera. All under on roof. Different teachers. It's like going to different schools without the leg work. more

In town for the summer and found the great school The Acting Corps. I'm only here for a short time for now so I love that it's such an intensive program. I will probably move to LA full time at some point, but I really am loving the head start they are giving me. more

Great classes, teachers and facilities. I think you should check them out. Meisner program with a few tweaks that make it better if you ask me. Lots of other stuff thrown in technique wise. Michael Chekhov! And scene work from week one. Do what works, and this program/school has really gathered stuff that works and put it in one place. I took both Boot Camp I and Boot Camp II and they were great. more

I recently made some life changes for the better and have started to try my hand at acting. I found The Acting Corps and am liking it very much. I'm not old, but I'm also not a 18-years-old, so I feel like I am behind in the game (even though people say it's not like that). I'm i my 30s, so I don't want to waste time, and I really do feel I am making the most of it with the full time program at The Acting Corps. I don't know where I am going,but I'm having a great time going there. more

Hard work pays off 5/20/2018

I am a believer in hard work paying off, and I am putting in work at The Acting Corps. Five days a week plus outside rehearsal and I am even doing extra Meisner with friends/classmates. If you are going to go after this thing called acting, go after it with all you have. Sure, who you know might get some in the door, but talent is what keeps you there, and if you work at it long enough, even if you don't know anyone, you will get a chance. And so I am at the Acting Corps learning all I can from the wise staff so I will be ready. more

A great one 5/13/2018

I've studied pretty much everywhere and I find this to be among the most comprehensive schools. If you start at the beginning knowing nothing, you are going be shocked at how much you learn. If you go in already knowing stuff like I did, you don't have to start at the bottom, but you will still lean a ton. Great teachers. more

These guys are the best. studied with them three months so far, but intend to keep going. I aspire to be in their next showcase so I can get an agent. I hear every actor in the last one was signed! Even if I don't end up doing that, I have no doubt that the things I have learned will aid me in my future acting endeavors. But I really want to do the showcase! more

Dispense with excuses 4/16/2018

Dispense with the reasons you are not booking the role, with the classes you take that just tell you want you want to hear. Dispense with all you personal shit and come to the Acting Corps to make it happen. Meisner at the Acting Corps has a way of showing you how to live in the moment both on and off stage. Let it happen, take the plunge. Changed my life for the better. more

Just visiting 4/8/2018

Visiting Los Angeles for a few months and was fortunate enough to land at the Acting Corps. Did my research from NorCal, the came down and started classes after being in LA one day, and I have not looked back. I do want to move down here eventually, but I am bingeing training now. I did a lot of research before signing up, and everything checked out with the Acting Corps, and I got this one tight. I love the classes, and as I am only down for a few months (for now), the five days a week thing is great. more

Nice place to study with nice teacher and peers. Learning a bunch of new stuff. serious place. Not for actors who think they are going to take a class a week for a month and be brilliant. Brilliance takes work, and this is a place that will help you get there if you put the work in. I plan to hang in there through boot camp 2 and then the advanced class and eventually want to be a part of their agent showcase. more

i want to work in voice over, especially on video games. the basics of acting are time same in voice work, so i went to the acting corps and they were really awesome. more

My friend went to the Acting Corps and raved about it to me, so I checked them out. Now it's my turn to rave to you. They are great! I am a big fan of Meisner now. I never had much experience with Meisner before because most Meisner programs just teach Meisner, but that is not the case at the Acting Corps. I also really like Michel Chekhov, and the scene work classes, and the voice and movement class. You get it all here! more
