I have a lot of hosting experience and some print work, too. But whenever I was on camera, I was myself. I had never really acted, though I am not a shy guy. For many actors, the biggest challenge in acting is nerves, for me it was not being me, or rather the me I present to the world when I interview people, to let the insecure parts live, and accept them. Meisner really got me there, and once I was there, it was a starting point to play characters that are not exactly me. Now some actors make a very good living at playing one character, but I don't want to be one of those.
