Best

My experience over all was great.

Worst

The prices are reasonable but the service is less than good. I purchased a vehicle from them in November 2011. As far as certified pre owned I would have another company check out...

My children have bought 4 other vehicles since here. My children have bought 4 other vehicles since here. Andrew was our last sales person and he did a great job from start to finish. They have a huge selection we ended up buying something else than what we originally called about to begin with. Rod Smith was our finance analyst and he was very professional and courteous. more

The only downside to a business this size is poor communication. But that wouldn't stop me from going back. Andrew was very helpful and professional. more

We bought a 2006 Jeep in I believe November of 2011 and our experience was flawless from start to finish. Our sales person was Andrew Owen and Mr Owen made the process very easy and returned our calls when we needed information quickly. I would definitely recommend Texas Direct Auto and Andrew to friends and family. Thank you more

Andrew Owen was very helpful and delivered direct answers to my questions without all the headaches I have received from other dealers. Overall experience I would grade a B. I will consider TDA for my future needs. more

I really don't understand all the negative comments. Buying a car is stressful and I purchased a car a few weeks ago from TEXAS DIRECT AUTO and I had no problems. The staff at TEXAS DIRECT AUTO are not going to hold your hand rub your back and change your shouts, they are just going to sell you the car YOU want. If you want to save thousands and purchase a vehicle, Without the pressure or the sales staff calling you five times a day saying "when are we gonna make a deal what are we going to do hurry hurry hurry the car going to get sold" You're just going to get the best deal upfront right away. If you know this going into it, you will not have a problem remember they sell a lot of cars so are busy But will give you the attention you need. I think some people's issue with Texas direct auto is they don't sit there and hover over you and push you into what has the best profit, you pick your vehicle or vehicles You want to test drive , decide what you like the best about it and purchase the one that fits you. Remember Alx always you will need to bring your drivers license and current insurance card when you get there so you can be registered to drive a car/truck. From what I saw, at least 100+ a day or so is my guess. So if you see a few complaints remember most likely posted from people that have a grudge did not get the deal they want or don't know what they're doing, and or could not get finance. BUT that is not TDA, Problem. One other thing I've noticed people complaining about vehicles not working properly or being miss represented, I have a hard time believing that from what I've seen when I purchased my vehicle there was some dents in some of the trim and some other issues I pointed out after I INSPECTED THE CAR, and it was fixed correctly the first time. I can only recommend to the people that don't thoroughly look at what they are buying or know what to look for take it to an independent mechanic and have it inspected I know the staff at Texas direct auto would have no problems with that A little bit about me, I am a disabled vet, I'm 45 years old I have purchased new and used vehicles. I had to purchase my last car due to it got totaled in a car accident. I have always gone to a dealership or auction to purchase a vehicle. I thought about using Carmax but if I had I would not have had a salesman who cares about me as an individual Trys hard and I would've paid thousands more. more

I LOVE MY MINI!!!! This experience was awesome and alot of fun. This is not your typical dealership, nor are their employees. Turbo was my guy, and he was super! No pressure, straight forward, and he listined to what I wanted. Of course I did my research, and I had been eyeing my mini for a minute. It was a blessing that it was even still there, their inventory moves quickly. I had no problems getting it financed, even though my credit is so-so. FYI when buying a used car, pray about it first :) Let God guide you, he knows your needs and he is faithful. more

They will rip you off - they still owe me money. Best to go in there with your own financing. Don't let them finance. more

oh were do I start? Texas Direct Auto is horrible...I went in to TDA and was assigned a sales man by the front desk his name was tim...tim was awsome. we found a truck that we liked and right away started the application process and we were approved (so says the finance lady kelly sarafin) well later she comes back with ...well the bank backed out you have to find a cheeper car with a better black book value...so we did and by this time it was late so she told us to come back in the morning to finish up paper work. so the next morning we get there only to find out tim was off today and we got adopted by another sales man named Eric who was horrible and again a problem with the vehicle we chose so back to step 1 we picked out another vehicle and this time they get an approval(so says kelly) and we ask to drive the vehicle and mysteriously they lost it they cant find this truck anywhere. by this time I have had it we spent 2 and a half days at this place and for what so they can make us buy something we didnt want! the very next day I went to a local dealer and bought a new truck got approved in 30 min and signed papers and was on my way all within an hour. TEXAS DIRECT AUTO IS A BIG FAT JOKE!!!!!! more

Car was purchased, next day broke down, and I found out it was never serviced by Texas Direct Auto. Drove home to find out there was $2000 worth of repairs to be performed on vehicle purchased. Called the service tech Mike, at TDA, and he said the truck was NEVER serviced prior to selling it to me. So with my kids in the car, I was driving an unsafe vehicle due to a leaking master brake cylinder and fuel pressure sensor from which the car had NEVER been serviced before they sold it to me, hence all the repairs on the car. I called Stephanie customer service rep the next day, waited another day for response, to have them reimburse me for the faulty brake system repair bill of $2000. She said Texas Direct Auto will not cover the repairs, because I didnt tell them about the problems, first, before the car was repaired. I just purchased the vehicle the day before, and yet they will NOT cover any of the repairs! Do not do business with the people. Take your business elsewhere. more

My fiance and I just recently bought a car from Texas Direct Auto, our experience was OVER THE TOP! The best car buying experience that we have ever had. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Right when we walked into Texas Direct Auto, we new this was going to be a great place. There staff was very friendly, the environment was very kid friendly. The building was easy to find, very clean and very updated. They had a indoor play area for children that my 5 1/2 year old just absolutely LOVED! WE will definitely be going back to Texas Direct Auto for any other car purchases. TEXAS DIRECT AUTO REALLY IS THE DEALER FOR THE PEOPLE! NO JOKE!!!! more

Having been a long time Houstonian, and personal experiences in the past... My wife was dead set on buying from TDA. Long story short, I convinced her that I'd do the footwork and wanted to take a look at a used minivan they had online. more
