Staff is always friendly and courteous. Pain takes a backseat to freindly conversation and comfort. Thank you ladies...always a pleasure!

had asked for a full body massage to be scheduled but was scheduled for an herbal wrap. also want to verify that I was being set up for a membership instead of series. but service...

very relaxing experience 6/19/2011

My husband & I came in for a couples massage. it was our first time at Skin Sense, & it was the most enjoyable experience!!! The staff is very accomadating & makes you feel like you are their only guest :) The amenities are great! My husband has never experienced a "day spa" atmosphere at was so impressed by all that Skin Sense had to offer, especially the steam room prior to the service! We are planning our next "date night at Skin Sense" & look to make it a monthly event!!! more

wonderful first time experience 6/18/2011

I had a wonderful experience from the time I walked through the door, until the time i left. My massage was wonderful. Avery was just great. The relaxation room was just what I needed as well. This was overall a great experience that I will do again. more

Spa 6/16/2011

I had a great day at Skin Sense! My only complaint was that the relaxation lounge was a bit cold as was the massage room. However, all the treatments that I received were excellent and I can't wait to return! more

Great Service 6/16/2011

I was disappointed the steam room was closed. That was one of the reasons I chose Skin Sense. Also, I wasn't clear on the type of massage I was getting. I was looking for something more relaxing. However, my massage therapist was great. She really got key spots that were bothering me. I just feel the rest was rushed. I will definitely come back to her. She was so friendly,caring and had a lot of knowledge on all other services. more

Wow, only 250 words. Had a nice write up on our whole experience only to find out I am limited here to 250 words... Ok, here is the short version. BAD EXPERIENCE - Poor communication amongst staff about the mud therapy procedures. - Arrived at 11:45 only to get into the mud room (first appointment) at 12:40 - Broken Showers heads on two of the two showers in the mud room - Poor water flow on those shower heads - Couldn't leave on my own time since a women was using the mens sauna and I had to wait for her to finish. more

Pretentious, without much reason 6/14/2011

Skin Sense does not bring much balance to my life when the reservation process starts with 5 or more text reminders and confirmations, an email confirmation and reminder and a phone call. I feel like I'm being nagged into submission before I even arrive. Then there are the pretentious front desk staff who nag about cell phones (by now I know not to bring one) and who at the end of the process only want to sell goods on top of the services. We all know that. The prices on many of the items are ridiculous ($70 for salicylic acid which can be purchased for $7 in a big box store) and I already have a cupboard full of unused products at home. The showers still need to be re-grouted. I like the facials but am not impressed with the over pretentious ambiance. more

I received two treatments at the Spa on my visit, a back wax and a Aaahh massage. Both were excellent, made so by the attentive efforts of the staff to ensure that the services exceeded expectations! more

I must say....if the waiting room really looked like the picture it would be great. The north raleigh waiting area is AWFUL!!! Plus the Clutter....just made it an ok experience. I've been to other day spas and the atmosphere just isn't what it should be. Disappointed :( more

I have been going to Skin Sense for several years. I mainly go here for waxing but I have also had a facial and a massage. I have always had pleasant experiences. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good spa. more

Spa Day 6/10/2011

My visit was wonderful! Such a nice treat that was so relaxing. After a facial and eye treatment, my skin feels exceptionally clean, moisturized, and so pampered.My family even commented on how good my skin looked! The facilities are oh-so clean-and every need is quickly taken care of. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. Thankyou for an exceptional experience that made me feel so special. more

HOT 6/9/2011

I was at the North Hills location and the lounge was extremely hot. As always the therapist was wonderful but hte lounge wasnt relaxing due to the heat. I have also visited the Cary location numerousa times and the boutique area as well as the rooms are extremely warm. If the problem with the temperatures was fixed the spa would be the best Ive ever visited. more

Wonderful Experience 6/7/2011

I had the Sweet coconut treatment and the milk and honey mani/pedi. The massage treatment was absolutely wonderful! I dozed off 3 times and was barely able to move when it was over. It was 85 minutes of pure relaxation. The mani/pedi was great! She kept the water warm and I continued to rest off my slumber that the massage induced. Everything was professional and clean. I will definately be back for this same treatment. more
