Skin Sense does not bring much balance to my life when the reservation process starts with 5 or more text reminders and confirmations, an email confirmation and reminder and a phone call. I feel like I'm being nagged into submission before I even arrive. Then there are the pretentious front desk staff who nag about cell phones (by now I know not to bring one) and who at the end of the process only want to sell goods on top of the services. We all know that. The prices on many of the items are ridiculous ($70 for salicylic acid which can be purchased for $7 in a big box store) and I already have a cupboard full of unused products at home. The showers still need to be re-grouted. I like the facials but am not impressed with the over pretentious ambiance.
