I would just like to tell people of the experiance that my sister had dealing with Sharons Wigs. First of all she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in Jan. at the age of 35...

It looks like social media has done some good here! After reading the blog on FB about an ill woman's experience at this ""salon"", I was appalled! You should be ASHAMED of yourself Sharon and staff. Compassion and respect are sorely lacking from the associates and Owner of this salon. While I am sure they have all types of customers, being in a business such as this needs caring, compassionate and helpful people. If you are so unhappy with what you do, leave. \r No one , regardless of "" the other side of the story"" deserves to be treated this way by a business Owner and/ or associates. Please pray for these sad people. The owner and her employees are obviously very miserable to be able to treat customers so poorly. If you need a wig, please call Robert Laurence Salon in Shorewood. They have a great selection and wonderful customer service. Everyone needs to stay away from Sharons Wig Salon for your own good! more

My brother died from Cancer,,he lost his hair but decieded he would just shave his head,,this lady was looking for some help,,im glad I wasnt there when these ppl said what they did,,they would be the ones needed a new wig,,shame,shame an disgrace on both of you! to say something to a cancer patient or anyone for that matter is wrong an hateful,,,God have mercy on your worthless evil souls,,,what goes around comes around,remember that ""ladies"" more

Very sad that someone can treat any human being with that much disrespect. I know alot of times employees say things out of line, but for the owner to yell at a cancer patient and say I hope your hair falls out. It's pathetic and I hope there business tanks. Compassion! more

Poor service is one thing. Lack of compassion another. Hateful speech quite another. Be prepared to find all three here. For anyone to treat a customer of any sort with disrespect is terrible business practice, but to treat someone who is obviously suffering from cancer and trying to regain a sense of normalcy by looking at wigs in such a way is a business signing their own foreclosure. I know there are two sides to every story, but nothing a customer does warrants treatment like Sharon and her staff can and do dish out. more

After reading this story , I called the store. \r The staff member put the phone down and it sounded as if they were reading through the reviews. They were using foul language and acting unprofessional. \r I overhead them saying they were just going to write ""there are 2 sides to every story"".\r We've read about the courageous woman battling cancer with a sick child, sleepless nights, and going though chemo among other treatments. What is your story? wake up late? short staffed? too busy to be polite and empathetic to your customers. go ahead. what is your story? more

Disgusting how the owner and an employee treated a friend of mine who came in for a wig. She is a cancer patient, and they were rude and laughed at her. Please do your wig shopping somewhere else! They do not deserve one more customer! more
