They are friendly, patient, and kind. Not pushy. I've very happy with my machine purchase. Lee was very knowledgeable about the machine and its accessories. If he didn't know the answer he quickly found it. \r They also have many brand name fabrics. I couldn't believe the low prices. more

I live in Aledo, Texas and called Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse in Houston on Monday, June17, to get pricing on upgrading my Brother sewing machine. Very friendly, helpful staff took message and manager called me next day.\r \r Lee Carpenter is extremely knowledgable, caring and answered every question I had and more. Their prices are excellent and they show you where to save as much money as you can, even over the phone!! \r \r When you are looking for a professional business to purchase and assist in learning how to use an embroidery/sewing combo or just embroidery I highly recommend Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse. Free training in use of machines, software and much more are available. This place rates 5 Stars. My sewing project was too much for the size of my machine and I broke it. No surprise, but the repair was going to cost more than the cost of my very basic 7 yr old machine, so I unexpectedly had to purchase a new machine. Not knowing what I was looking for, Lee proved to be most helpful and knowledgeable, and sold me a machine that I think will serve all of my sewing needs. This store is close to my house and I've shopped here frequently for notions and accessories, but this was my first big purchase. I know I got a great deal and any time I've shopped here, the staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend them for all sewing, quilting and vacuum needs. more

I was in the market for a high quality sewing machine that could handle both quilting and apparel sewing. Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse's website had some great deals that couldn't be beat elsewhere, even online. When I went there, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly and gave me their full attention while I asked about the machine I wanted, and gave me a full demonstration of the machine's features. They also have great prices on quilting cotton fabrics, and rent the services of the computerized panto longarm machine, which I can't wait to take advantage of. The staff are so helpful and I have had good experiences on every visit to the store. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! more

I've shopped around quite a bit reviewing prices and styles of embroidery machines. I could've saved myself a whole lot of time and energy had I stopped in Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse first.The staff was courteous and helpful ,especially Lee, my personal consultant. He assessed my embroidery needs and stitched me up with the perfect machine. I absolutely love my JANOME Memory Craft 500E. I am so pleased with my recent experience at Sewing Machine Warehouse. For this baby beginner, the experience of learning about sewing machines was initially intimidating but the time and attention the staff allowed both over the phone and in the store was so helpful and informative. Lauren did an excellent job of showing me what I needed to know, and helping me make informed decisions. I ended up purchasing a machine and feeling confident that they would be there for support and repair just like they are for my vacuums. It is such a relief to know that customer service is alive and well at this store! more

I bought a sewing machine from Sewing Machine Warehouse on 7-27-16. I wasn't sure what I wanted when I went into the shop and Brenda spent a lot of time explaining the features of the different machines and letting me test them. I love my machine and felt very confident in my choice. I went back in a week later and Brenda spent two hours showing me how to use my machine. I highly recommend SMW! more

I came in to the Conroe store with my sister to compare prices from another vendor. I was very pleased with the help I received from Tricia. She explained all the features and was willing to match the price. After looking at another brand I felt it was a much better fit to me and I purchased it. I am highly impressed with the service at Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse. I was originally going to buy my Janome sewing machine online but I found out that SVW has a great warranty program for all of their machines. Paul was very helpful. He showed me a variety of different brands of machines that I was interested in and was very knowledgeable about all their features. Never at any time did I feel pressure to buy anything. It was nice being able to look at the machines at my own pace, try them out, and really decide which one would be best for me. I am very happy with my machine and I am pleased with the services Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse offers. They also have a very nice fabric and notions shop attached for everything you need. I will definitely be going back! more

This is the best place to find the sewing machine that best suits your needs. I found the people here to be very friendly, honest and helpful. They took the time to demonstrate the machine I was interested in and answered all questions I had. They even helped me understand why the cost of my grandmother's machine would have exceeded its value. I would recommend anyone who loves to sew come visit these folks. Very helpful in my buying experience of a quilting machine. Knew the products and their capabilities demonstrating some of the stitches. After buying my machine (Janome Horizon), I went back the same day and bought a cabinet for it. Again the sales staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products. Had them deliver and set up the cabinet and am very satisfied with my purchases. Lee was very helpful in the purchase of the machine and delivery of my cabinet. Thanks Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse for a pleasant buying experience. I'm quilting away on my new machine. more
