Excellent Customer Service 1/22/2012

We looked all over the web to compare features on various machines. We went to the Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse to get hands on with the eqipment. Our salesman, Lee, was very knowledgeable and even stayed late showing us features and making recomendations. Lee was super helpful. After the purchase we have had questions and Lee and the staff have all been very helpful. more

I bought a Janome 9700 machine about 1 yr ago. I have been impressed with all service. Cynthia does very informative classes. Ken helped to inform me of all machine options. I brought my machine back for yrly service and this was quick. more

Best Sewing Machine store in Houston.. 1/17/2012

I had a great experience while visiting Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse. I was there for the first time to get service done to my 10 yr.old Singer sewing machine and was amazed at what the store had to offer... I was referred by friends that are in my sewing class, that have purchased or have had service done to there sewing machines at the Tomball, Tx location. While there, they were kind enough to diagnose my machine and offer me a few options to what I can do about fixing or upgrading my machine. I thought it over & decided I wanted to upgrade to a new Janome Sewing Machine. All of my sewing friends have one, & they LOVE IT... Thanks Jason for such, great customer service! :) more

I recently purchased a Jamone 350E embroidery machine from Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse and was very pleased with my experience. They offered a great selection of machines at a great price and the salesman, Lee, was very knowledgeable and helped me pick the perfect machine. The best place for info and supplies 12/22/2011

My husband surprised me with an early Christmas present, a Brother Sew/Embr machine. The help and knowledge here is A-one! Their classes are the best. I know they will keep my machine humming and will gladly answer all my questions. I love that I can get everything I need to embroider in one place. more

Conveniently located, knowledgable staff! 12/9/2011

When I decided that it was time for a new machine I devoted an entire day to research and ""test driving"" machines. I visited several stores and compared not only the machines but also the quality of the staff and their willingness to work with me on price. I can truly say they scored the highest in all these categories. What more can you ask: good price, knowledgable staff, convenient location. Plus they offer an instructional class free when you purchase your machine so you can confidently use your wonderful new machine! Awesome! more

Glad I found this place! 12/9/2011

I had an older Singer machine that I needed to have repaired. I searched for a repair shop online and found this store. I took the old machine in, and it was pronounced DOA. HOWEVER, I was offered a trade in value on the old machine, and I used that to buy another machine. The sales staff is great. The repair staff is great. The store is great! Couldn't be happier!! more

Courteous and Knowledgeable 11/27/2011

I highly recommend that anyone who is in the market to purchase a sewing machine check with them before you do. Not only did they have what I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay; they also knew their product well. I found they had the most reasonable prices for the Janome 4120 QDC. Their demonstration of this sewing machine was very thorough and their willingness and ability to answer questions was exemplary. I purchased the machine from them. more

Easy Purchase 11/27/2011

I was at the Houston International Quilt Festival looking for a Janome sewing machine for my daughter. I stopped to chat about machines and the salesman told me about the sewing machines that would be for sale after the event was over. It happened to be the same machine that I own and was happy to buy the refurbished machine for $200 less than what I paid for mine. I drove out to their showroom the Monday after the Festival and picked it up. It was ready for me and now my daughter gets to enjoy the same sewing machine that I have, which is the 3160 QDC. more

Worst Customer Service EVER! 11/26/2011

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Ordered a $8,250 machine at the same time my friend ordered one--between the two of us we spent nearly $18,000 in machines and accessories. We paid at the time of ordering and were told it would take about a week for the machines to come in. Nearly 4 weeks later after several calls to check on the machine's status. I was told that it was ready for pick up but that I would need to pay an additional $165 because I had paid with my credit card. When I questioned why I was just now (four weeks after paying) being charged this fee, the owner started yelling at me on the phone saying that I had asked for the cash price. When I explained that I would be happy to pay with a check if they credited back my card he said that because they hadn't caught the mistake until almost a week after we had paid and it was too late. I honestly didn't know that there was a difference in paying by check verses credit card. I was treated in an extremely unprofessional manner. They seemed to feel that I was working to rip them off by paying with a credit card. This all could have been avoided if they had explained this at the time of the original check out. After paying them $165 I told them that they had lost me as a customer and their response was ""oh well"". Apparently they have plenty of business, please take your business elsewhere. **Sewing machine warehouse also rewards customers for providing positive feedback with up to $40 in store credit for up to 4 positive reviews. more

Walked in for Singer Repair, Walked out with New Janome 11/21/2011

Staff was very knowledgeable and had options available for purchase of machine for son's wife and for my 17 year old Singer. Cost of new machine was attractive alternative to cost of repair to old machine. Thanks to recommendation of sales person, got home happy. more

They know their stuff! 11/19/2011

I had to take my wife's machine in to be checked. Guess I walked in with the ""deer in the headlights"" look because I was approached and helped from that moment on. Very nice folks and they even helped with with gift ideas. Even tho it is not my kind of store, I will go back for gifts (sure the will stir me right) and really surprise and impress my wife. more
