WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Ordered a $8,250 machine at the same time my friend ordered one--between the two of us we spent nearly $18,000 in machines and accessories. We paid at the time of ordering and were told it would take about a week for the machines to come in. Nearly 4 weeks later after several calls to check on the machine's status. I was told that it was ready for pick up but that I would need to pay an additional $165 because I had paid with my credit card. When I questioned why I was just now (four weeks after paying) being charged this fee, the owner started yelling at me on the phone saying that I had asked for the cash price. When I explained that I would be happy to pay with a check if they credited back my card he said that because they hadn't caught the mistake until almost a week after we had paid and it was too late. I honestly didn't know that there was a difference in paying by check verses credit card. I was treated in an extremely unprofessional manner. They seemed to feel that I was working to rip them off by paying with a credit card. This all could have been avoided if they had explained this at the time of the original check out. After paying them $165 I told them that they had lost me as a customer and their response was ""oh well"". Apparently they have plenty of business, please take your business elsewhere. **Sewing machine warehouse also rewards customers for providing positive feedback with up to $40 in store credit for up to 4 positive reviews.
