Robert is the BEST!!! 5/22/2011

I moved to Huntington Beach about 8 months ago and got a referral from a neighbor and was greatly disappointed. My hair looked brassy and the cut was horrible. So after letting my hair grow out of the awful color I finally saw great reviews for Robert at Salon Ambiance. He colored my hair and my daughter's hair and our hair turned out AMAZING! Robert truly has a natural talent for knowing what color hair looks good for your skin color. I wish I could post a picture of my daughter's hair. She would be the envy of most teenage girls. I am so relieved to have found a great stylist. A stylist job is to make you look amazing and Robert did just that. Thank you so much Robert! You will be our stylist forever. GREAT COLOR and GREAT CUT. Robert's got great long hair, very personable and, as a added benefit, nice to look at!! :) GO TO ROBERT! You will not be disappointed. more

Best Stylest EVER!!!! 5/19/2011

Had my hair cut a few days ago by Eddie, and He is amazing!! I'm always so afraid to go to new stylist because of my hair getting cut too short. I told him what I wanted and he did the best job ever!. It wasn't too short just perfect! If your looking for a great stylist just ask for Eddie! more

GREAT HAIR 5/17/2011

I met Robert when I moved fom Toranto a few months ago, and I want to let new people to the area that he's wonderful. He colored my hair again two weeks ago, and I have compliments from coworkers and strangers. I am grateful for Citysearch to be able to find such a great stylist without knowing anyone in Huntington Beach. more

Awsome Hairstylist! Shelly 5/9/2011

I got the worst haircut in my life at a salon in Westminster. I called Salon Ambiance in Huntington Beach and was booked with Shelly, I was nervous in trying someone new and I was afraid that I would have to cut off my hair very short. Shelly put me at ease by explaining to me how she would fix my haircut and yet keeping the length. She made a few adjustments to my cut and it was awesome! more

Haven't loved my hair this much in a long time. He changed my hair color, and my makeup and skin look so much better. It's amazing what changing your hair color will do. I felt special when I left. more

Lisa Livingstone does a great haircut! 4/21/2011

Lisa is a real artistic with hair, she takes her time and does a careful and precise cut. Always producing an up-to-date style and look which is also easy to keep up on your own. Her style is relaxed and friendly. She also gives you a great neck massage at the wash bowl, which is a real bonus. more

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO NATALIE FOR 3 YEARS NOW, AND SHE ALWAYS DOES SUCH A GREAT JOB ON MY HAIR! SHE LISTENS TO WHAT I WANT AND IS ALWAYS ABLE TO MAKE MY HAIR LOOK GREAT! SHE IS SO GOOD WITH COLOR, AND CUTS AS WELL. THE SALON IS BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING. THIS PLACE HAS A WONDERFUL, COMFORTABLE VIBE. NATALIE WILL ALWAYS WORK WITH MY SCHEDULE. Cory will make you look hot 4/5/2011

I always schedule my appointments with Cory. I trust him fully with my hair. Cory is always friendly and tries to make you fell at ease when you are unsure about changing your style. He has a true gift when it comes to color. Cory understands the full color pallet of hair and what color(s) will accentuate a woman's natural beauty. He listens to your desires and makes them come true. I never knew my hair could look so great. If you want to have a fun and relaxing experience while getting color and a cut you definitely need to make an appointment with Cory. more

Good First Experience 4/4/2011

I was scheduled with Lisa Livingstone for a cut and weave. Not knowing each other can cause apprehension at an initial appointment, however, Lisa was very patient, offered suggestions and listened to my concerns. She takes pride in her profession, loves her job and the studio. She is eager to learn and stay abreast of new styles and ideas. I was happy with the weave and cut and style as I left the salon. Since I did not want to do anything extreme at my first visit, it was enough of a change without being drastic. She cleaned up the color and the cut quite nicely. Lisa's very relaxing head/neck massage at the shampoo bowl were a bonus. Who doesn't love that? The prices are probably average in the industry - I am not used to paying quite so much, otherwise I would rate 5 stars. For the amount of time and energy Lisa gave me, it was money well spent. more

Eased my nerves 3/29/2011

I am terrified to let anyone touch my hair, and since i moved up to HB a year ago from SD i have not had a trim, let alone a haircut. Finally, it was time to pick a salon to go to and i did. Picking the Salon was pretty easy as I saw all of the good reviews on multiple websites. Picking the hair artist was the touch part... so i didnt choose. The guy booking my appointment picked for me, and he picked well!!!! more

Natalie's Numero Uno 3/5/2011

Natalie is punctual, she keeps her appointments and is quick with the services she provides. She has been my stylist for 2 years now and does my cuts, color and special event hair! She is always available to serve her clients. I never knew blond could be so difficult for certain stylists but I never look brassy or yellow with Natalie. She can curl, cut and accomodate extensions. She is my secret stylist weapon when I want my hair to look extra fab on a party or special occassion evening! more

GO TO NATALIE!! :) Natalie is by far the greatest hair dresser i have ever had! She is super nice and always encourages me to try fun new things with my hair that always end up looking great! For the times i come in that i want my hair to look an exact way she never fails to get my friends giving me compliments for weeks and weeks after my haircut! Thanks so much Natalie! EXCELLENT STYLIST *LISA* 3/1/2011

Just got back from getting our hair done, (mine & 11yr. old daughter) by Lisa, first of all they close @ 7 and she stayed doing our hair until 9:30!! I loved it!! I will admit I was a bit worried about getting there late thinking she would just rush through our hair and do an OK job...That was sooo not the case...she took her time and did a FABULOUS job!! more

Natalie is my FAVORITE! 3/1/2011

I've been going to Natalie for my hair for over two years now. She does a FABULOUS job! I have really fine hair and she always cuts it just right, so that it looks much thicker than it really is. Also, she is incredible with color. I've had her highlight as well as just dye it dark, and my color always looks perfect. She is definitely the best hair stylist I have ever had. I live about an hour from her salon, but I still go to her every 6 weeks because there is no one like her. If you're looking for a great hair stylist, you've got to go see Natalie. more

I've been going to Lisa noe for a year. I wouldn't EVER change hairstylists again! my sister did my hair for more than half my life, and i personally think Lisa does an AWESOME job!!!! She takes her time and makes it PERFECT EVERY TIME!!!! my own sister would go fast and some times i ended up not liking it, BUT Lisa i love her and i don't know what i would do with out her!!! She's my hair SAVIOR!!!! If you want someone who is as OCD about hair like me than Lisa's your stylist you really want to go to!!! more

Sopi at Salon Ambiance the best Stylist and color corrector! 2/18/2011

Thanks to Sopi my hair is a beautiful blonde again! I went in crying because I had really messed up my hair trying one of those ""at home"" hair colors. My hair had a greenish grey tint. Sopi saved the day! Not only is my color beautiful but the style is something I normally wouldn't have tried I used to have the ""soccor mom cut"" not any more. THANKS Salon Ambianc and THANKS Sopi! You are the best stylist and you did an amazing job on my color correction. more

Hair Stylist Lisa!!! 1/23/2011

So I have been getting my hair done since I was 12 by differnet hair stylists. Finally, I found my dream hairstylist!! Lisa Livingstone from Salon Ambiance!!! I had lisa do my updo for my wedding and she was precise and paid attention to eery detail! My hair looked great!!! it stayed for my whole wedding and kept up with our unknnown conditions of the reception being sooo hott! (there was no air). Just recently I got highlights with lisa. I had bleached blonde hair previous to going dark for my wedding and my hair was thrashed! I was so scared to get my hair done by lisa because I was worried my hair would break and be thrashed again. WELL, luckily I have lisa, She gave me the most georgeous highlights and my hair FEELS AMAZING!! It has never felt this good from hair color! My hair hasn't broken or snapped and it looks great! It's been a long time since I had healthy hair. THANK YOU LISA!! You should definetly come see Lisa, she is so thorough from the consultation to shampoo, condition, the massage was the best! Overall, the best hair stylist I have ever had!! more

My new favorite stylist Lisa! 1/13/2011

I've lived in Huntington Beach for 2 years now...but always kept my stylist down in Newport. I live about 3 minutes walking distance from Salon Ambiance and pass it almost everyday. This time while home from college on break, I needed my hair highlighted and cut quick before leaving the next day. So, I took a chance and booked an appointment as a walk in to the salon. The receptionist was really helpful and paired me with a stylist named Lisa, who she said did awesome weaves. I have been getting highlights since I was 14 and I have never been happier with my hair then I am now. Lisa did an absolutely amazing job! She gave me beautiful highlights that look so natural. The color is just perfect. From the consultation, to the foils, the cut, to the shampoo, the massage and condition, I have never had a better salon experience. I Once I got home, my sister saw how great of a job Lisa did on my hair and booked an appointment with her right away. Finding Lisa was truly a blessing and I highly recommend her to everyone!! more
