We hadn't been to the falls since the Snoqualmie Falls Lodge was torn down. We wish we'd just kept the old memories. It looks similar from the outside, but it all ends there. The Japanese stark atmosphere totally lacks warmth, even though the young staff is friendly. The dinner menu looked good, but at $49 for a rib eye steak, we held ourselves to a starter and entree apiece. It still cost us $200 for an okay meal, okay service, and an okay bottle of wine. Guest room was okay. Walking down the hotel hallway, you can hear every word said on the other side of the doors. The spa services were enjoyable - John's hand and foot rejuvenation is truly special. Glad something was.
Pros: Nice staff, Some table with views
Cons: Over-priced, slow service, uninspired
