Review content:
This was a case of a very expensive meal being worth every penny. The service was so extraordinary that it was hard to tell which was better--the food or the experience of the restaurant itself. One example: when we posed a question about a particular vintner, a dossier was printed out and delivered to our table within minutes. We were amazed at the thoughtful detail that permeated every gesture, to the point that we were actively looking for mistakes. We finally found one--they forgot to include a pen when delivering our check. That's the worst we could say. The perfect end to a perfectly wonderful stay.
