Inspection of roof and recommendations for repair done superbly. Shingle replacement and venting sealing done just as professionally. Work area spotless!

The time it took to begin the job was too long which was close to a month and was told it would begin in ten days. They did a very poor job with the screen door and it is already...

Project-management was not what we were hoping for. 6/8/2012

We were promised by both project manager and salesman someone would return to do another nail sweep. We are now four weeks out and no one has shown up and we continue to find nails in our yard. RESPONSE FROM The Roofing and Remodeling Company: The Project Manager made two nail sweeps after the job as best he could due but due to the major downpour, the ground became saturated and the nails buried in the soil. As the ground has dried the nails have surfaced. Another nail sweep has been done and we will do as many as it takes. Ms. Kuschmann mentioned to the Project Manager that it has been a nail here and there, which makes sense with them surfacing as the ground dries. more

new roof 5/18/2012

explained everything very well. did not try and pressure you to buy anything you did not want. gave me quotes from the very cheapest to the most expensive, so I knew exactly what I was getting for the money. I picked the items I wanted, with the roof. more

Roof repair and vent installation 5/18/2012

When we met with the estimator we were told that replacement shingles would not match "exactly". I was not present during the repair work but my husband was. The replacement shingles are not even close in color and had I been present, I would have stopped the work and searched myself for a better match. I should have viewed the shingles prior to the work being done and that was my fault. The work itself is of high quality (replaced word and vents installed) and the staff was extremely professional according to my husband. We felt the price was fair. We noticed an immediate improvement with the vents being installed. more

Job well done 5/9/2012

The job was suppose to start on a Friday but do to the fact that some material was not on sight you could not start. The material in question should have been ordered last December when the contract was signed. This delayed the start of the job another week. That was the only problem on the job. The workers worked hard and did an excellent job. We are very pleased. Thank for all the hard work. more

Excellent Company That Goes The Extra Mile! 12/12/2011

Chuck was our salesman that came to do an estimate for a couple of repairs to our roof. However, he was patient enough to give us an estimate on the entire roof and when we realized it was something we simply could not afford right this minute, he went on with his day and called us back about 7 that night and when I answered the phone, he said "Mrs. Doherty, it has been bugging me all day, but I think I have figured out a way that we can get that new roof on your house immediately. You need it before it falls in and we can't have that happening with your little boy in the house." I was sold. Anyone that would leave an estimate appt at noon and call you back with a real solution because it had "bugged him" all day is definitely worth your time and money. They finished our roof in 5 hours, there was hardly any mess and they showed up right on time! They even covered our roof with a tarp to keep the water out for the couple of weeks it took to get our appt because they were backed up from Hurricane Irene. I would recommend them to anyone! And they were recommended to us by an old friend too. Definitely did not disappoint. more

Very pleased with the roof and clean up after work was completed. 12/11/2011

Workers were to come back and paint one of the pipes and adjust bend in gutter. I am not sure that this was done for I have noticed one pipe has not been painted black. Since workers were to come back and complete this process, I would like to have been informed or left note informing me that work had been completed and on which date. more

All of the employees seemed knowledgeable and all of our questions were answered...the estimate was thoroughly reviewed with us before proceeding with the work and the inspection was meticulous. The actual work was done with minimal disruption to our routines. They cleaned up afterwards, leaving no sign that they had been here. The best part is that we now have NO LEAKS! more

The value and quality are average because I will not know if it was worth the money until the roof lasts a long time or how well the company backs the warranty we were promised. This was the most expensive company, but came with the best warranty around. As for professionalism, the program manager didn't even show up the day of installation as far as I know. I had made a request about the placement of the downspouts and didn't here a thing. They were not put where requested. As far as I am concerned the job was average and the program manager was not available to talk to much. more

Too bad we had a leak. 10/4/2011

Company replaced two skylights in my roof. They appeared to have done a good job. Unfortunately at the first hard rain one of the skylights leaked and caused interior damage. When the salesman was contacted and came to the house to troubleshoot the problem he quickly diagnosed the problem but did not want to talk about the damage inside and refused to discuss it with my wife. The Company came out and repaired the problem promptly. Several days of rain were on the way and they wanted to get the problem rsolved before the rain set in, and they did. We are waiting on some of the damage to dry out completely (exterior door is swollen and sticking) before they come out and repair the damage, which they have ensured me they will do. more

Considering my own siding was used and the nailing was done in approximately 15 minutes, the cost was extremely high. more

The Most Professional and Hard Working Company Around! 10/4/2011

We have had work done by The Roofing Company on three different occasions. The first time was in 2001 when we had the roof on our old home replaced. The second and third times were to replace inadequate work done by our builder in our current home. The Roofing Company has always stood by the quality of their work. They will not leave the job until it is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. more
