Sales man and workers were often late for meetings, job took much longer than the contract indicated and had cost overruns. However, the quality of work was high and am very pleased with final product. more

The time it took to begin the job was too long which was close to a month and was told it would begin in ten days. They did a very poor job with the screen door and it is already very hard to close the door. I have had this company do many different jobs and this was the worst job that has been done. more

My house was damaged during a roof installation. I was promised work would not start if it was raining. When I got home from work and walked in the door water was pouring in my upstairs and downstairs because they tore my roof off and left when it started raining hard and failed to tarp it. The damage was not repaired to my satisfaction. I told the foreman I wanted a discount from the day it happened and he signed a paper saying we would discuss the discount at the end when the owner came out. When the owner came he refused to discuss a discount. I asked him to leave and a week later they have come after me with their attorney. I owe a small amount of the total bill, but they have added almost $700 because they gave it to their attorney. Please don't use this company. They continually lied to me and baited me along so I would keep paying until I got to the last payment.. The do not care the my house is damaged. They said if I wanted to pull the sheet rock down and I could prove their was damage they would fix it. My bathroom floor bubble up from all the water and they said the same thing...if I could find a contractor who said it was from the water they would pay...otherwise I would have to pay. I have lots of photos of the damage done. Do not trust this company. We strive for 100 customer satisfaction and while I realize that might not always happen; we made every effort to achieve that without success. It doesnt make me any less apologetic. We are very pleased with the work Adrian and Phil performed at our house. Both were very knowledgeable about their work and what needed to be done. Each day we received numerous photos of what Adrian and Phil did on the property. Our chimneys look much better, and are correctly repaired. We liked the work on refurbishing the two metal roofs on the property as well. Last, these guys were very coordinated on getting things ready to work, the work itself, and the clean up. We certainly recommend The Roofing Company, and especially If you can get Adrian and Phil on your site, you know it will get done right.... Thanks Guys! The Roofing and Remodeling Company did exactly what they stated in the expected time. The roof look outstanding and the best materials are used. It was a little expensive but you get what you pay for in everything in life. I expect this roof to last for many years to come. more

Very professional "sales pitch" was given with estimate, however what followed seemed to be typical of the construction industry - poor communications, delays in work and cost increases. Work was completed as per contract and appears to have fixed original roof leak which is good, but feel the price was on the high side and took a long time to complete. With time (per day) and materials contract it's hard to justify paying for a days labor ($85/hr x 10hrs=$850) when the workers were on site 5-6 hrs each day. The extra time each day was attributed to travel and getting materials. Had to wait two months for first start date due to backlog then had several more delays due to "I'd like to wait until next week to start the job" and "I forgot I had to go to court today" more

When a tree limb made a large puncture in our roof, I called The Roofing Company. Brian was there within an hour to pull the limb off of the roof and tarp the hole to prevent rain getting in. Although we were originally given a longer estimate for when the permanent repair would be made, they were out the next morning to complete the permanent repair. You can't even tell where the damage occurred, and our total turnaround time from limb falling to repair being completed was about 24 hours, and everything was left nice and neat. We had the same experience just a few weeks earlier when The Roofing Company replaced the roof on my mother's house. They did what they said they would do, on time and in a professional manner. I contracted The Roofing and Remodeling Company based upon a recommendation of a neighbor who recently had work done. To be honest, she just seemed a little OVER enthusiastic about EVERYONE from the salesman, to the supervisor, to those who actually did the work. Now that I have had my work done, I truely understand her exuberance. I too was very impressed with EVERYONE involved. You have a top notch crew of committed and hard working professionals. The work was done well and the workmen took the trouble to make sure things were done all right. The reason for my unsatisfactory rating on Value stems from the outrageous administrative/upfront costs. Originally I had planned a much more extensive job but then health problems got in the way. The upshot is that I got a french door and room opening, with minor electrical and HVAC adjustments that should have cost 4000 for a total over 8000. I understand some of the upfront costs but by no means all and I felt cheated. The company wouldn't work with me. I can't recommend this company. more
