Recommend - I have not had the opportunity to use them as I have not had problems with our home. But in selling our home, we had an agent ask as they saw what they thought was a foundation crack when in fact it was put their by the builder (expansion joint). Perma Pier came out and did a full measurement, inspection by a senior geologist. From setting the appointment, to him coming out (on time), to the fast and courteous service. I would certainly give them a try. We are purchasing to downsize and going to have them go to our new purchase to inspect this home as well. If we find anything, I know I plan to use Perma Pier! more

Dear Wes and the rest of the Perma-Pier Family.\r \r A few years ago, around Christmas, I was having the worse experience of my life. My house was remodeled, then flooded due to my neighbors pipe freezing in her backyard, remodeled again, flooded again to a sewer lead under my house, 18 piers in and around my house due to my fireplace sinking, and a husband with early onset dementia and caregivers daily. By the time we were done, my floors had been replaced 4 times in the living room, once in the master bath, once in the den, and re-carpeted in the guestroom twice. My entire bathroom was re-tiled. I had to go back to work full time as a teacher and handle all the contractors from work, as my husband could not handle anything. It was an expensive, traumatic undertaking. \r \r Perma-Pier really listened to my story. It was so horrible, that there was no way i could've made it up! I was over the edge, depressed, stressed out, and maxed out. Perma-Pier charged me nothing. I couldn't believe it! I am a firm believer in supporting my community, helping those in need, and giving more than I get. We have spent the last several years working with Perma Pier on leveling our home. The people who came to my home were always very courteous, but unfortunately it has been a real challenge getting the home to the point of level. \r I have gone through several different points of contact with the company, some who have been more responsive to me than others. When it became evident that my home was more challenging than most they encounter, Perma Pier hired a second engineer to come in and look at our situation. This engineer did a thorough study and submitted a more aggressive plan of attack, which was carried out by a good team of workers Perma Pier brought in from Dallas. I am far happier with my home now than I have been in a long time. more

If i could have rate this company a zero i would, worst company i ever had to deal with, after leveling my home we started having problems inside our home they refuse to fix, they also send some cut rate contractor to do the cement work now my driveway is a tripping hazard , horrible job, even though it is minor we had brass nozzles that was on our water hoses that was stolen, anyone considering this company needs to really look into hiring a different company before hiring these guys, we now have to spend extra money to have someone make the repairs to our house for the Damage that Perma Pier Cause, we will report this to the BBB, really, really think hard before hiring these guys.... more

They will inspect a home within the option period with plenty of time for a buyer to decide to purchase and the seller to choose if he wants the work performed. Perma Pier has a lifetime transferable warranty to guarantee their services. I have recommended them on several homes and will continue to do so. Additionally I?ve had two personal homes corrected by Perma Pier. Both times I found them prompt and reliable and pleasant to work with. Not all homes need repair. We really enjoyed working with Perma Pier. They took time to walk us through the evaluation process so we understood exactly what was needed and why. The crew chief and his crew that showed up to do the repair were excellent. The crew chief walked us through the installation and his crew was very efficient, timely and polite. Most important the house lifted well and we can move forward with confidence with rehabing the property. Perma Pier are crooks and should be investigated by the AGs office and DTPA violations. They take your money, do nothing, get their corrupt engineer to certify their shotty work, few weeks later the house is splitting apart, and the owners are left with the tab of hiring someone else to do the job right. I recently bought a home that was relevelled by Perma Pier a few months before we purchased it. Prior to closing, the inspector's report showed the house was not levelled properly, walls were already cracking, adjacent rooms had 1.75 inch of level difference, and that Perma Pier did a really bad job using the cheapest materials possible leaving rotten piers and putting new beams and a shims precariously stacked like jenga where there shouldn't be any. When the Seller complained, Perma Pier said they could do no wrong and would not fix the obvious defects because they got the work certified by an engineer, who is paid by Perma Pier. Because of that Seller lost $2,500 on the home before closing. As buyers the warranty did not extend to us, unless we paid $100. Seeing how bad Perma Pier messed up the foundation of the house, I did not want them back here again to make problems worse. We paid a competent leveler $3500 to do the job right. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! more

We went through many home renovations over the last few months but found that our experience with Perma Pier was the absolute worst we have ever had as home owners from unreturned calls, delays in work, paperwork going missing, failure to report problems, unwillingness to respond, we would NEVER EVER recommend this company to someone else and will NEVER EVER use them again! Tried many ways to get resolution with owners/managers and was all in vain. Considered bringing in our attorney to try and get things resolved-it was that bad! more

I HAD FOUNDATION PROBLEM AND THEY OFFER ME SOMEKIND OF NEW SERVICE TO FIX THE PROBLEM FOR ABOUT $12,000 WITH LIFETIME GRANTEE BUT THE PROBLEM HASN'T FIXED AND EVERYTIME I CALLED THEM ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM, THEY KEEP TELLING ME IT WILL TAKE TIME TO ADJUST ITSELF BUT NOW IS MORE THEN A YEAR I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND NOW FINALLY TELLING ME THAT I HAVE TO DO OTHER STUFF TO FIX MY FOUNDATION AND THEY REFUSE TO HONER THERE GRANTEE. more

Perma-Pier performed a foundation repair to my home in 2000. It is my understanding the previous owner sold the company to the current owner in 2003. In the Perma-Pier paperwork in 2000, it is stated they have ""served the metroplex"" since 1965 not 1992. I also have a ""lifetime transferrable warranty"". It was stated that a ""warranty trust fund"" was established and would be transferred to any new owners to protect me in the event of needed repair. I trust it will be honored as stated. Permapier saved my home. Everyone were very nice and professional in helping me repair my home foundation. My husband and I had Perma Pier do some thing called Condor to stabilize our home last year, because every winter cracks would open and then close in the summer. I was a first time home buyer in Frisco TX. I had issues with my homes foundation I had a crack about 1 inch thick going down the center part of my home. I had called a few companies and none of them seemed to know what they were talking about and they did not make me feel confident in their judgment. I saw a TV add for Perma Pier and gave them a call. My evaluation was free and the gentleman that came out was very informative and anything that he recommended he showed me on paper and walked me around my home and showed me whats causing the cracks and whats causing my foundation to fail. They came out within a day and got my home knocked out and fixed. Their clean up was excellent I didn't lose any of my tress or shrubs. The most important was that the big crack in the center of my house was fixed and my doors were working. I was informed what to expect and how to take care of my foundation after the work was done. I purchased a historic home after my husband died. He had been a minister so I needed a home. Perma Pier seems nice when they come out, but be warned, they DO NOT HONOR their warranty! Not only that I have tried since 2004 to get a copy of my paperwork and STILL DON'T have it. My house did not have structural damage but my gov't loan said I needed to have the piers replaced. I told them to leave the old piers, since the house was level and the wrap around porch was NOT pulling away from the house until they worked on the house. When I called them to come back, the house shook when I walked through it, they always had an excuse. So now I am paying for a house where the roof is sinking in, porch is pulling away from house, and porch roof is sinking in. This company will NOT even talk to me!!! I can't believe that a company could ruin a person's life. I have lost all hope in life, I might as well have backed a truck into my house. How can a company that does things like this sleep at night? I have had stress and financial hardship because this company took my money for a service that they did NOT do correctly. I now have high blood pressure and am on anxiety medicine. I don't think I could even sell my house now, thanks to Perma Pier. I thought I hired a professional company, but instead I found a nightmare. Nobody at Perma Pier cares what I am going through, maybe they only do this to teachers as I see another teacher wrote a bad review also. I wish I could post pictures of how my house looked BEFORE Perma Pier and AFTER they ruined my house. What really makes me mad, is why can't I get my paperwork? What are they trying to hide or cover up? To have another company fix this is $25,000 as a teacher and a widow I don't have that. They took out piers and never replaced them and I have pictures of that also! They won?t return my phone calls either. I walk across my floors now and they give because they didn?t replace the piers they took out. I am older and couldn?t crawl under the house, so maybe they just take advantage of older people and widows! IT MAKES ME SICK THAT THEY DON?T CARE WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO MY HOUSE OR MY HEALTH! I wish I could be around someday when they have to answer for all the horrible things they have done, what goes around comes around. All I want is my foundation fixed, I am not even trying to get them to fix all the other damages they have caused. Oh, and at Christmas they fix other foundation companies mistakes and advertise this on the radio. Apparently they can't fix their own!
