Review content:
Perma Pier are crooks and should be investigated by the AGs office and DTPA violations. They take your money, do nothing, get their corrupt engineer to certify their shotty work, few weeks later the house is splitting apart, and the owners are left with the tab of hiring someone else to do the job right. I recently bought a home that was relevelled by Perma Pier a few months before we purchased it. Prior to closing, the inspector's report showed the house was not levelled properly, walls were already cracking, adjacent rooms had 1.75 inch of level difference, and that Perma Pier did a really bad job using the cheapest materials possible leaving rotten piers and putting new beams and a shims precariously stacked like jenga where there shouldn't be any. When the Seller complained, Perma Pier said they could do no wrong and would not fix the obvious defects because they got the work certified by an engineer, who is paid by Perma Pier. Because of that Seller lost $2,500 on the home before closing. As buyers the warranty did not extend to us, unless we paid $100. Seeing how bad Perma Pier messed up the foundation of the house, I did not want them back here again to make problems worse. We paid a competent leveler $3500 to do the job right. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
