Great service 9/17/2020

When I moved to PA to be nearer to my son's family, he and his wife recommended that I call Paul W Essig, Inc. to have the AC/heating system serviced in my p-lace. They sent Mr. Mike Wenger to do it initially, and again yesterday, because I requested him; I now know everything is OK. I like that Essig lets the customer know in advance who they are sending, and that she/he can request the same service associate the next time. Essig Service Contract is very reasonably priced; it is nice to know I can depend on Essig. Thank you more

WES just left after installing a new air conditioning system for our home,, great guy, very courteous,, even gave us information on a maintenance contract,, i will definitely get the contract as soon as the one i have now with UGI is done,,, thanks Wes ,,, great job.. more

Jared was on time and personable. He worked with me to troubleshoot my issue but was not able to identify the cause. He did make a couple of recommendations. My concern with Jared was that the COVID-19 mask he brought was only a bandanna which fell from his nose and mouth frequently. Better protection from the virus is important. more

Helpful Service 8/16/2020

We recently moved into a new home and had an issue with our AC unit. Essig’s was the company who had installed our unit, so we gave them a call. They were extremely helpful! Laurie whom I spoke with in the office was so nice when helping me schedule an appointment, (She was able to get us a technician out the next day) when she realized we were new home owners and that they had installed and maintained most of the major Hvac appliances in the home she was able to give me information on installation and service dates. BrIan our technician arrived within the scheduled time frame and quickly diagnosed that our issue wasn’t with the unit itself, but the power coming to it. He gave us the name and contact information for the electrician who installed our unit. But while he was there gave us a quick rundown on our ac unit and heat pump and showed us how to take care of simple maintenance such as where to change the filter. Great info for a new home owner!! I also appreciated that the sent a text and email confirmation for our appointment and called when the technician was on the way. Great service all the way around!! Thank you!! more

Furnace with heating problem 4/24/2020

Unfortunately he could not find anything that shut the furnace down as I had it back up and running by the time he arrived. I had a similar problem before(an intermittent problem). I was pretty sure this would be the result after I had it working, but did not want to cancel as he was minutes from my house and hoped he might find something. more

oil burner service 11/26/2019

Joe took time to explain everything that he did as well as his test results and what they mean. My system is ancient, so there are some ifs involved with burner settings etc. which he couldn't find references for, so I'll be comparing the performance and oil usage to previous years. Overall, a professional job. more
